“If I can’t have you, no one can,” Ahmet P. (29) allegedly threatened, then brutally attacked his partner and her son.

The Turk has been in custody since September 1, and is now on trial at the Dresden Regional Court for, among other things, dangerous bodily harm.

In August, he allegedly rushed at Cornelia B. with a knife in their shared flat in Großzschachwitz and shouted “I’ll cut your head off”.

When Cornelia’s son Domenic (15) came to the scene, the youth placed himself “protectively” in front of his mother and knocked the knife out of the attacker’s hand.

But Ahmet P. then allegedly grabbed a fork and stabbed both of them. Cornelia suffered wounds in the throat area, calf and upper arm, among others. Her son was injured in the head. Ahmet P. also allegedly set fire to a garden shed.

The 29-year-old could not remember anything specific, but also stated: “I lost my control then, I drank for the first time.” The trial will continue.
