A 31-year-old Pakistani man got life in prison Wednesday for stabbing and wounding his 47-year-old ex and killing her 19-year-old son after he tried to help her in Sardinia on May 11, 2021.
Masih Shahid was found guilty of maliciously injuring his ex partner Paola Piras and deliberately murdering her son Mirko Farci after breaking into their house at Tortoli, in the Ogliastra area.
Shahid had confessed to the crimes.
He was present in court, as was Farci.
Shahid was also sentenced to four months of daily isolation.
He was found guilty of attempted homicide and premeditated murder.
