“Enough Is Enough”: Outcry Over Muslim Holiday Pact

AI generator

A new agreement granting Muslims in Schleswig-Holstein two additional public holidays has triggered sharp criticism from opposition parties, who warn that the move risks privileging one faith community and sidelining broader concerns over integration.

Last week, the state government signed a treaty with the Northern German Association of Islamic Cultural Centres (VIKZ). The agreement allows Muslim officials, employees, and pupils to take time off on the first day of Ramadan and on Eid al-Adha.

It also confirms the Association’s right to run its own educational institutions and train imams, while paving the way for Islamic studies to be introduced as a regular school subject.

Cultural Minister Dorit Stenke (of the centre-right CDU) defended the deal, calling it an important sign of recognition and equal treatment of religious communities. She insisted it merely formalised “lived practice” in schools and workplaces.

VIKZ leaders welcomed the accord, with vice-chairman Muhlis Şahin stating: “The treaty makes it clear: Islam is a part of our social life. It has taken deep root here and continues to thrive.”

But opposition voices were quick to condemn the move.

The liberal FDP’s parliamentary leader, Christopher Vogt, said: “We have great respect for different religions and their holidays, but we believe that school lessons should not be missed for religious reasons. This is the completely wrong signal.” He also raised concerns about imam training, arguing that “we should not continue to leave this to foreign governments.”

The right-wing Alternative für Deutschland (AfD) denounced the treaty in even stronger terms. Bundestag member Lukas Rehm said: “Enough is enough! Germany must finally stand up for itself again. We say clearly: an end to this self-abandonment.”

The party’s Cloppenburg-Vechta branch in Lower Saxony warned that “German culture is being sacrificed to ideology.”

Academics have also voiced scepticism. Islamic scholar Susanne Schröter criticised the state’s decision to partner with the conservative VIKZ: “That is the fundamental imbalance in the German Islam debate: only actors from a very specific, ultra-conservative spectrum are heard. The many Muslims who are more liberal or moderate, we hardly hear at all.”

The treaty underscores a growing divide in Germany over how to recognise the country’s estimated 5.5 million Muslims. While the state government insists it is ensuring equality for religious communities, critics argue it marks a step towards appeasement rather than integration.

‘No to Digital ID’ protest takes place in UK as opposition to surveillance state grows

Demonstrators hold placards as they protest against the Labour Government’s plans to introduce a digital ID, outside of the Labour Party’s conference at ACC Liverpool on September 28, 2025, in Liverpool, England. Screengrab youtube

A protest was held outside the U.K.’s governing Labour Party conference in Liverpool over the weekend in opposition to Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s plan to introduce mandatory digital IDs.

The protestors gathered on Sunday, September 28, carrying signs reading “No to Digital ID.” They warned that digital identification infrastructure may pave the way for a surveillance state, the Independent reports.

The protests came days after Starmer announced that no one in the U.K. would be allowed to work without the digital ID, known as the “BritCard.”

U.K. citizens have shown strong opposition to the government’s digital ID scheme, revealing how unpopular the plan is with large swaths of the population. Within a week of the announcement, more than 2.6 million people have signed a petition opposing the government’s plan to make the “BritCard” mandatory for all workers by 2029. According to the petition, “no one should be forced to register with a state-controlled ID system”, which it describes as a “step towards mass surveillance and digital control.”

Starmer and his government used the problem of illegal immigration, for which they are at least partly responsible, as a pretext to mandate digital ID.

“I know working people are worried about the level of illegal migration into this country,” the prime minister said. “A secure border and controlled migration are reasonable demands, and this government is listening and delivering.”

“Digital ID is an enormous opportunity for the U.K. It will make it tougher to work illegally in this country, making our borders more secure,” he argued.

The globalist NGO of the former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, the “Tony Blair Institute for Global Change,” is one of the premier proponents of the digital ID scheme.

“Most recently, the debate over digital ID has been dominated by its potential to help reduce illegal migration inflows and address public concerns that the government has lost control of Britain’s borders,” the Tony Blair Institute stated, playing into the narrative that illegal immigration is the reason mandatory digital ID is needed.

Former actor turned political commentator Russell Brand said that “Digital ID is back in Britain, sold as immigration control but reeking of surveillance.”

“Biometric data linked to finance makes your body the passport, turning freedom into permission,” he added.

Digital IDs are being introduced in countries around the world, showing a global effort of upping state surveillance. On Sunday, Switzerland narrowly voted in favor of introducing digital identification, after the first ballot on the matter failed to pass in 2021.

‘He said the Taliban were heroes’ – Afghan refugee is on the run after murdering French ex who worked for pro-migrant association, justice minister admits ‘failure’

A shocking femicide case has rocked France, with even the country’s justice minister admitting total failure of law enforcement to protect Inès Mecellem from murder. Mecellem was stabbed to death by an Afghan refugee, Habib, who was her former partner. Now, the 36-year-old Habib remains on the run after the brutal killing.

Remarkably, he was subject to six criminal complaints, which were filed by Mecellem all within six weeks of her death, yet police never took any serious action against the man, even releasing him from custody shortly before Mecellem’s murder.

The mother of the victim, Angélique, has been appearing across the national media, and has described the man who reportedly killed her daughter as “dangerous” and an “extremist” who “did not want to integrate.”

In fact, Habib openly praised the Taliban.

“He said the Taliban were heroes,” said the mother to Le Figaro newspaper. She added that he “intended to return to Afghanistan.”

Amazingly, despite all this, the man was registered as a “political refugee” in France.

Mecellem, who worked as a social worker in an association that helped refugees, did not notice the warnings associated with the man, who would go on to allegedly murder her.

Angélique had said, “I didn’t like him when I saw him.” She described him as a “big macho guy” who had “the mentality of his country.”

However, despite serious incidents, Inès Mecellem stayed with the Afghan man for two years.

“I think she was in denial, she thought she was going to make him change,” said the mother

Inès Mecellem, who was murdered on Sept. 8, was brutally stabbed inside her apartment in Buxerolles, a suburb of Poitiers, allegedly by Habib. They had just permanently separated. Le Monde details how a neighbor heard her screams and found her still conscious laying in a pool of blood.

“There was so much of it, I didn’t know what to do, I didn’t dare touch her wounds,” said the neighbor.

However, Inès Mecellem was later pronounced dead at the scene despite valiant efforts to save her life.

Inès Mecellem’s death becomes a national story

The case has sparked yet another nationwide discussion about unchecked mass immigration and femicide in France. The murder is being showcased as yet another example of France’s failed law enforcement policies.

Appearing on France Inter after the murder, Angelique said that her daughter, Inès Mecellem, was the victim of violence and threats and had filed several complaints against Habib.

In fact, just two days before the murder, her daughter had activated her serious danger telephone (TGD), a device that allows the police to be quickly alerted. The daughter knew she was being “hunted.”

Habib was arrested but then immediately released. Angelique cannot believe he was immediately released, saying it was “incomprehensible.”

“I’m disgusted because they had him in their hands and half an hour later, he was on the loose. Today he runs in nature”, she said on France Inter.

The case has reached the highest levels of government.

Minister of Justice Gerald Darmanin has said that he is calling for law enforcement to bring the suspect to justice and acknowledged the state’s “failure.”

“Victims must be at the heart of the justice system’s concerns. Every time one of them seeks protection from law enforcement and the justice system, and we have failed to protect her, it is a profound and terrible failure. All light must be shed on this horrific case, which is why I have requested the opening of an operational inspection at the General Inspectorate of Justice. Furthermore, I will meet with the president of the National Federation of Femicide Victims, as we meet with all victims who approach me,” wrote Darmanin on X.

On Saturday last week, a thousand people participated in a march in memory of Inès Mecellem, with a symbolic passage in front of the Poitiers police station. It is here that the 25-year-old victim had filed five complaints in total against her ex-partner in just six weeks. Despite that, no action was taken that could have prevented her murder.

She told the police in these complaints that she had been strangled and raped during their relationship, with severe insults and threats coming after they broke up.

Sylvaine Grévin, president of the National Federation of Victims of Femicides and guest of RTL Sunday morning, said such failures to protect women are widespread.

“I appeal to Mr. Darmanin, who is still in office as Keeper of the Seals, to effectively establish all responsibilities. Whether they are police officers or whether they are the work of magistrates. I am even asking for a general inspection of justice,” she said.

Angélique has also filed a complaint for “failure to assist a person in danger” against the Poitiers police. A source close to the prosecution says the complaint has been referred to the General Inspectorate of the National Police.

Mehdi Mecellem, the victim’s brother, is now calling the police and justice system accomplices to murder.

“For me, there are two murderers today,” he told the AFP. “The one who is on the run but also the police and judicial system, with all its failures. Her death could have been completely avoided.”

In France, 96 women were killed by their spouse or ex-spouse in 2023, according to the latest report from the Ministry of the Interior. This figure represents a 19 percent decrease compared to the previous year, 2022. The study further specifies that women are the overwhelming majority of victims in marital crimes, accounting for 81 percent of all cases.

‘Trump’s US drags Europe to the Right,’ ECFR study says

The US, under President Donald Trump, is exporting its culture war into Europe, deliberately dragging the continent’s politics to the Right.

That is according to a new report from the European Council on Foreign Relations (ECFR).

The think-tank claims that what was once a shared western identity has splintered.

Instead of co-operation, Europe now finds itself reacting to crises “scripted” by Washington, such as disputes over migration, climate policy, free speech and even so-called “wokeism”, it said.

The study, published on September 23 and compiled by 27 researchers across the EU, argues that Trump’s “weaponisation” of issues such as migration, climate, wokeism and free speech is no accident. It is part of a co-ordinated international movement “determined to overthrow Europe’s liberal democratic order”, it said.

The ECFR describes this as a battle on two fronts.

First comes the ideological stage: Open disputes about democracy, freedom and the rule of law. These, the report argues, are being reshaped by Trump and his allies to shift the political centre ground in Europe.

The second front is identity. By depicting Europeans as naïve, dependent, or strategically incompetent, Trump’s US undermines the continent’s dignity and autonomy.

In the Trumpist narrative, Europe’s mainstream parties, allied with US Democrats, are traitors to the West’s heritage

If European leaders internalise this narrative, the report warns, the EU risks a creeping “cultural subordination”.

“Europe’s governments and their liberals spend most of their energy reacting to crises scripted by Trump and his European allies, rather than setting the agenda themselves,” the study states.

The author of the report, Pavel Zerka, an ECFR senior policy fellow, compared the situation to The Truman Show, with European leaders trapped in a “scripted reality” dictated from abroad. In the 1998 film, an insurance salesman begins to suspect that his whole life is actually some sort of reality TV show.

The study authors conclude with a warning: “Unless Europe reclaims control over its values, politics and global role, it risks being reduced to little more than a stage for America’s ongoing culture war.”

UK National Health Service Touts ‘Economic Advantages’ of Cousin Marriage

AI generator

Britain’s National Health Service (NHS) has come under scrutiny for seemingly defending cousin marriage, as debate swirls on the practice and its prevalence in certain minority communities.

Despite scientific findings linking cousin marriage to a range of genetic birth defects, negative effects on I.Q. and increased risk of Alzheimer’s, mood disorders, and schizophrenia, NHS England’s Genomics Education Programme published guidance last week downplaying its dangers while touting alleged societal benefits.

The guidance admitted the genetic risks, yet noted that other factors can cause defects in children, such as alcohol consumption and the age of parents, “none of which are banned in the UK.” Meanwhile, the article claimed that cousin marriage is tied to “stronger extended family support systems and economic advantages”.

“Genetic counselling, awareness-raising initiatives and public health campaigns are all important tools to help families make informed decisions without stigmatising certain communities and cultural traditions,” the guidance continued.

Contrary to the claims of supposed familial benefits of cousin marriage made by the NHS, critics have warned that such practices are likely to be used as control mechanisms for women.

Aneeta Prem MBE, founder of the Freedom Charity, told the Mail on Sunday: “First cousin marriage is not just a cultural tradition – it is a safeguarding risk. At Freedom Charity, we have seen how it is tied to dishonour abuse, where young people are pressured from childhood and given little or no real choice.”

Cousin marriage, which is currently legal in the United Kingdom given until recently it had not been common in the country, has become a hot-button political issue in relation to the British Pakistani community. Estimates have found that upwards of one in two British Pakistanis is married to a first cousin.

Unsurprisingly given the research on consanguinity, British Pakistanis also account for a disproportionate number of genetic birth defects, with some estimates claiming that one-third of cases involve British Pakistanis.

Anti-cousin marriage campaigner Aisha Ali-Khan blames the untimely deaths of her two brothers — both of whom died before the age of 18 — on the first cousin marriage between her two British Pakistani parents.

She told the Mail: “I’ve been campaigning to highlight the risks of first cousin marriage for years, and we’ve finally started to see younger members of the community start to reject the practice.

“So for the NHS to say that cousin marriage is something which has been going on for centuries just undermines what those of us with lived experience have been saying.”

Conservative MP Richard Holden, who has called for cousin marriage to be made illegal, added: “Our NHS should stop taking the knee to damaging and oppressive cultural practices.

“Sir Keir Starmer should stop running scared of the misogynistic community controllers and their quislings who appear in the form of cultural relativist-obsessed sociology professors, and ban a practice the overwhelming majority, from every community in Britain, want to see ended for good.”

The NHS said in a statement that the guidance was merely a “summary of existing scientific research and the public policy debate” and was “not expressing an NHS view.”

Berlin Islamist festival with children calls for the destruction of Israel

Following intense criticism, particularly from alternative media outlets, the controversial rap concert organised by public broadcaster ZDF presenter Jan Böhmermann, which was scheduled to take place on October 7th and was full of anti-Semitic content, has been cancelled. Now, Berlin, governed by Wegner (‘Christian Democratic Union’), is facing its next Islamism scandal:

The city of Berlin is organising and financing (with taxpayers’ money, of course) an Islamist festival at which children are taught to seek the destruction of Israel. The children paint Palestinian flags.

The person politically responsible is Mayor Kai Wegner’s girlfriend, Katharina Günther-Wünsch. Not only is there plenty of room for anti-Semitism in Berlin, but even the youngest children’s hatred of Jews is promoted by the state, just like in Gaza and Ramallah.

Pauline Voss wrote in our tweet of the day:

The state is playing an active role in Islamist radicalisation. The city of Berlin is organising and financing an Islamism festival where children can paint Palestinian flags and visitors can buy T-shirts showing Israel wiped off the map.

In another post, Voss states:

‘Israel’s war against Hamas is a welcome opportunity for the stuffy left-wing bourgeoisie in this country to finally unite German raison d’état with the still deeply rooted anti-Semitism and turn it against the Jews. In a book entitled ‘Jüdische Weltgeschichte’ (Jewish World History), the historian Michael Wolffsohn explains: ‘Once upon a time, the defenceless Jew was despised; today, it is the well-fortified Jew.’

The well-fortified Jew must still serve as the perpetrator, even when he becomes the victim of the worst pogrom since 1945. The new German anti-Israel alliance is only too happy to turn a blind eye to the danger posed by Islamism: both the threat to Jews in the Middle East and here in Germany is downplayed, with a preference for allying with Islamists.” (Source)

Ireland Offering Up to €10k to Migrant Families to Drop Asylum Claims and Return Home

Dublin, Ireland Anti-Mass Migration Protest via Twitter

In a move straight out of the Trump administration playbook, the Irish government finally appears to be tackling the unsustainable flow of migrants to the tiny island nation.

According to The Irish Times, asylum seekers are to be offered an allowance of up to €10,000 for a family – if they drop their claim asylum claims, leave the State and return home.

Per The Irish Times:

Minister for Justice Jim O’Callaghan has signed an order increasing the existing voluntary return grant, which will be available to people in the asylum system, before September 28th, who are awaiting a decision on their status.

The move, part of a general toughening of the State’s asylum regime, is intended to incentivise people who may not have a valid claim for international protection, or asylum, to leave the State voluntarily. It would reduce the costs associated with considering asylum claims and accommodating individuals while the process – which can be lengthy and expensive – unfolds.

Figures from the Department of Justice suggest that processing an average international protection application is estimated to cost €122,000 per person. This includes costs for accommodation and food, social protection payments, healthcare and education.

Ireland is grappling with a surge in migration flooding the country and the financial and social implications that follow.  Reports suggest there are at least 322 migrant plantations spread across the country.

The Boston Times reports:

A record number of applications for immigration have flooded the country in recent years, with an increase of nearly 300% over five years. This influx has put a strain on Ireland’s resources and led to a breakdown of law and order in some areas.

*****

As Ireland struggles to accommodate the influx of arrivals, including a large number of refugees from Ukraine, the cost of housing and support has increased significantly. With nearly 33,000 international protection applicants currently housed across the country, and an additional 100,000 refugees arriving from Ukraine, the financial burden is taking its toll. The Irish Refugee Council recently reported that a record 3,001 asylum seekers were homeless in Ireland at the end of last year.

The move comes despite Prime Minister Micheál Martin and Ireland’s Taoiseach claims that the phrase “Ireland for the Irish” amounts to an incitement of violence.

Under the new proposal, Martin said it “made sense” to set up a system for people to be sent home if their asylum claim was going to be unsuccessful.

From The Telegraph:

He added: “If people are seeking asylum, and in their heart of hearts know that they are not going to receive it, it could be economic migrants or whatever, the idea of giving people a helping hand to return or to be integrated to where they return to makes sense to me, both for the individuals concerned, but also for the broader system here in terms of the cost.”

Irish journalist Michael O’Keeffe notes that, once the grant has been paid and migrants return to their home country, they are not barred from Ireland and “can legally return on a visa or permit afterwards.”

MMA Champion Conor McGregor visited the White House in March and delivered a devastating message about what is happening in his homeland thanks to Ireland’s globalist leaders.

McGregor shared, “Sure. I’m here to raise the issues the people of Ireland face. And it’ll be music to the people of Ireland’s ears, because never on the main stage has the issues the people of Ireland face been spoke.”

“Our government has long since abandoned the voices of the people of Ireland.”

“And it’s high time that America is made aware of what is going on in Ireland.”

“What is going on in Ireland is a travesty. Our government is the government of zero action with zero accountability.”

“Our money is being spent on overseas issues that has nothing to do with the Irish people.”

“The illegal immigration racket is running ravage on the country. There are rural towns in Ireland that have been overrun in one swoop, that have become a minority in one swoop. So issues need to be addressed.”

“And the 40 million Irish-Americans, as I said, need to hear this because if not, there will be no place to come home and visit.”

‘Why are perpetrators protected, but not the victims?’ — Trial begins for youth gang who stabbed 13-year-old boy through the heart as victim’s family publishes emotional letter

X

A 13-year-old boy was critically injured after being stabbed in the heart at a school in Kiel in January, and two young men, aged 18 and 19, are now standing trial on charges of attempted manslaughter.

As reported by Hamburger Morgenpost, the Kiel public prosecutor’s office alleges that on the evening of Jan. 19, 2025, the two accused, together with other individuals who are being prosecuted separately, lured the boy out of his shared accommodation in the Hassee district under false pretenses. According to investigators, the group then attacked him in the schoolyard of the Christian School Kiel.

Prosecutors believe that several youths repeatedly punched and kicked the victim, who was eventually left unconscious. One of the assailants allegedly stabbed him with a knife, injuring his pericardium and nearly killing him. Emergency responders managed to resuscitate the boy at the scene before he underwent hours of surgery in hospital. Doctors reportedly later described his survival as a miracle.

Seven suspects between the ages of 14 and 22 were initially arrested on the night of the attack, but five were released shortly afterward. The two men now facing trial have remained in custody since their arrest. It is still unclear who wielded the knife, with the suspects blaming each other while the victim, still traumatized, has been unable to give testimony.

Investigators linked the attack to an earlier dispute between the boy and one of the suspects. The boy’s mother reportedly received threatening phone calls in the days before the assault, one of which directly warned of violence.

As the trial opened, the family released a deeply emotional letter from the victim, published by local AfD politician Hubert Pinto de Kraus and later circulated by activist Martin Sellner. In the letter, written in the first person, the boy describes repeated bullying, humiliation, and violence in the months leading up to the attack.

“Since last year, I had been repeatedly humiliated and beaten by a well-known group of offenders. My mother filed complaints, but nothing happened,” it read.

He recounts how he was ambushed, beaten, and ultimately stabbed, writing: “On January 19, 2025, I died (ed. clinically, as his heart stopped) in Kiel – at 13 years old, from a stab to the heart. My mother and I were ignored, and the perpetrators were given legal counsel. This is my story.”

Describing the attack, the boy wrote, “”The blows were deliberate and brutal. Eventually, I lost consciousness. As I slowly came to and tried to get up, I was struck by a hard kick in the face. I lost my weak footing and collapsed unconscious again. I never felt the fatal stab to my heart.”

He went on to describe the trauma he now lives with, both physical and psychological, as well as his family’s struggle to find help and support: “To this day, no one from the city of Kiel has reached out to us, offered help, or support. The perpetrators immediately received legal representation, and five of the seven were released from pre-trial detention after just three days. I myself live in fear and do not know how my life can go on.”

The letter, ending with the question, “Why are perpetrators protected, but not the victims?”

A priest could go to prison for preaching against Islam

A priest could go to prison for preaching against Islam

In Spain, freedom of speech and religion is under serious threat. The case of Catholic priest Custodio Magister, who faces up to three years in prison for preaching against Islamic fundamentalism, has sparked national and international debate. What makes the case more striking is that, according to his own statements, Father Custodio never referred to all Muslims, but specifically to radical factions that promote violence and terrorism.

Despite this clarification, Spain’s judicial system, influenced by the socialist government of Pedro Sánchez, is moving forward with a possible trial scheduled for the coming months. If confirmed, this would mark an unprecedented situation: a Catholic priest prosecuted not for inciting hatred, but for warning about the dangers of extremism. To many, this reflects a disturbing double standard.

While priests and Christian leaders face legal persecution for defending their faith or warning about real threats, open supporters of groups such as the Taliban or radical Islamist movements remain untouched by the law. This contradiction exposes the fragility of liberties under a government more concerned with political correctness than with defending fundamental values.

Father Custodio’s words are not a call to hate, but rather a warning against an ideology that has caused death, persecution, and terror attacks around the world. His mission, as he has stated, is to defend Christians and protect Spain’s cultural identity. Yet in today’s political climate, even such a basic defense is seen as a crime.

Critics of the socialist government argue that this is a direct attack on the Catholic Church and on Europe’s Christian tradition. It is not an isolated case: across Europe, critical expressions of Islam are increasingly restricted, while multicultural narratives are promoted, leaving those who defend their heritage vulnerable and silenced.

Spain’s conservative opposition has denounced this as ideological censorship. Instead of protecting citizens from radical ideologies that pose a proven threat, Sánchez’s government seeks to criminalize those who speak out against them. This inversion of democratic values, they argue, cannot be ignored.

The concern is not limited to Spain. In Latin America, many are watching closely and wondering if this is a preview of what might come to their own countries. Could a Catholic priest one day be punished in nations with Christian majorities simply for warning about extremist ideologies? It is a legitimate question, and one that should alarm every defender of freedom.

The case of Father Custodio Magister raises a fundamental moral and political dilemma: can a democratic nation criminalize truth-telling simply because that truth challenges progressive elites? If the Spanish justice system goes ahead, it will set a dangerous precedent that could spread across the Western world.

Conservatives are calling for a strong defense of freedom of speech and religion, both of which are essential pillars of democracy. Remaining silent as a priest is persecuted in Spain would mean opening the door to broader censorship of all who live and speak according to their Christian faith.
