Male Wrestler Accused Of Sexually Assaulting Female Opponent During Girls Wrestling Match Is Set To Compete In Washington State Championships

A young female athlete in Washington says she was unknowingly matched against a biological male in a girls wrestling competition. Kallie Keeler says that her opponent, who has now qualified for the state championships, had sexually assaulted her during the course of the match.

Keeler, a 16-year-old sophomore at Rogers High School in Puyallup, spoke to unDivided about the incident, which took place during the Lady Jag Kickoff Tournament on December 6, 2025. Video taken by Keeler’s mother captured the match, in which the girl looks to be at an immediate physical disadvantage against her opponent, who was representing Emerald Ridge High School.

Disturbingly, the video shows Keeler’s face quickly twisting into an expression of panic and confusion. At one point, Keeler is visibly attempting to communicate something to her mother, who couldn’t initially understand her. Keeler later clarified that she had been saying: “Her fingers are in my (vagina).”

Terrified and overwhelmed, Keeler decided to let her opponent win to put a quick end to the bout.

“I just wanted the match to be over,” the teen told unDivided‘s Brandi Kruse. She went on to explain that following the match, a coach from another school approached her and told her she had been wrestling a biological male.

Two days after the match, Keeler’s parents emailed coaches at Rogers High School demanding information about how the incident would be addressed.

“This is a huge issue and something that is 100% not OK,” Keeler’s mother wrote, furious at the revelations. She added that she was particularly upset because the opponent had been “a biological male who identifies as female,” asking, “Where do we go from here?”

That same day, the coach replied to the Keeler family, indicating that she was taking the concerns seriously.

“I most certainly would not put Kallie on the mat if I thought she was competing with a male,” the coach wrote. “I will investigate this and look to see if we have a video on our end. I will touch base with you either this afternoon or tomorrow morning after I do my due diligence.”

According to the family, they did not receive any further follow-up.

On January 30, one day after being contacted by unDivided for comment, the school reported Keeler’s allegations to the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office — nearly two months after district employees would have been required to do so under Washington’s mandatory reporter law.

The Pierce County Sheriff’s Office confirmed to unDivided that it has opened a criminal investigation.

According to Sheriff’s Deputy Carly Cappeltto, a school resource officer was contacted by the school to investigate a reported sexual assault that allegedly occurred during a wrestling match.

“The School Resource Officer informed me he was called by the school to investigate a report of sexual assault at a wrestling match,” Cappeltto said in an email. “This incident allegedly happened during the match between the victim and a transgender student the victim was wrestling at the time. Last week, the School Resource Officer reviewed a video of the match, and he will be following up with the victim this week for further information. This is being investigated and is still active.”

While unDivided did not name Keeler’s male opponent, Reduxx can identify him as Taufa’ase’e Tei, also known as Trixie Tei. 

Tei is relatively new to girls wrestling, and has only participated in five total wrestling events in his school athletic career. The December 6 Lady Jags tournament was his very first, according to FloSports. During that tournament, he competed in five matches and won four of them.

At the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association District 3 Girls 4A South Puget Sound League on February 6, Tei secured a place in the state championships, which is set to take place on February 19 and 20 at the Tacoma Dome.

While Tei has largely scrubbed his social media presence, screenshots from his Instagram were captured in January.

In one post, Tei wrote: “As a trans girl, I matter because my identity is real, even when the world tries to tell me it isn’t. When people are against me, it hurts deeply because all I want is to live honestly and be seen as who I truly am. I feel scared sometimes walking into spaces where I don’t know if I’ll be accepted or judged, but I also feel strong for continuing to be myself anyway.”

He continued: “It’s exhausting to constantly defend my existence, especially when I didn’t choose to be different—I chose to be honest. I deserve respect, safety, and love just like any other girl. Even when the world feels harsh, my life still has value, and my voice still deserves to be heard.”

Speaking to Reduxx, Marshi Smith of the Independent Council On Women’s Sports (ICONS) expressed outrage at Tei’s participation in girls wrestling.

“Combat sports are inherently dangerous, and girls cannot unknowingly be placed in full-contact competition against teenage boys,” Smith said. “Forcing girls into intimate, body-to-body encounters with boys in front of cheering spectators is a humiliating and deeply disturbing failure to protect their safety, dignity, and privacy. This applies both on the mat and in locker rooms.”

Smith went on to condemn the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association (WIAA), which maintains a policy explicitly allowing students to participate in interscholastic athletics consistent with their gender identity, regardless of the sex listed on their birth certificate. According to the 2025-2026 Rules and Policies Guidebook, the WIAA has no requirement for medical treatment or legal documentation to be eligible.

“In this shocking spectacle, Washington policy has allowed a girl to be publicly raped during a wrestling match. The harm to girls in sports is escalating nationwide, and policies that sacrifice girls while leaders refuse accountability are indefensible.”

ICONS isn’t alone in raising concerns about males competing in women’s wrestling. The issue has also been documented for years by HeCheated, an independent platform that tracks male participation in female sports.

HeCheated maintains a public, searchable database recording wins, records, and awards claimed by male athletes competing against women. In a statement to Reduxx, the group reports that across documented combat sport matches, males have secured more than 200 victories over female opponents, compared to just 96 losses.

The site’s extensive archive is intended to demonstrate measurable male performance advantages — a disparity HeCheated says is especially alarming in combat sports.

“Male advantage is especially evident in combat sports such as wrestling, boxing, and taekwondo where male athletes are directly pitting their speed and strength against female athletes of similar sizes,” adding: “In the case of Kallie Keeler, she is just the latest addition to a growing list of young women who were unknowingly forced to fight a male opponent. Such an experience can have lasting impact on a young female athlete’s confidence and trust that she will be protected in her sport.”

German MEP sparks backlash after claiming gang rapes ‘do not exist’ in Germany — here are the facts

A German Social Democrat member of the European Parliament has sparked outrage after claiming during a plenary debate that gang rapes “do not exist,” despite official crime data showing hundreds of cases recorded each year in Germany.

Speaking in the European Parliament during a debate on Spain’s planned large-scale regularization of illegal migrants, SPD MEP Birgit Sippel objected to remarks made by AfD lawmaker Christine Anderson, who warned that Spain’s decision could have consequences for other European countries, including Germany.

Anderson told the chamber, “Spain is declaring 500,000 illegals to be legal. A violation of Schengen. They can now maraud freely through Europe across all borders. And they will do so, and they mainly where there are the highest social benefits, like Germany. Our homeland is no longer recognizable. Brutal knife attacks and gang rapes have become everyday life in Germany.”

Responding to Anderson’s speech, Sippel urged the chair to intervene, stating, “Can you please intervene? The former speaker used the words ‘people are marauding through Europe.’ That word ‘marauding’ is used for criminal gangs. She also spoke of group rapes that do not exist. I would ask you to intervene against such word choices and not just ask speakers to tone it down.”

However, German federal crime statistics contradict the claim that such crimes do not occur. Data compiled by the Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA) and published through federal government replies to parliamentary questions show that cases categorized as group rapes — although not a separate legal category under German law — are recorded annually through police crime statistics filters identifying cases involving multiple suspects.

According to the federal government’s official response, police registered 789 such cases in 2022, following 677 cases in 2021 and 704 cases in 2020, with annual totals consistently numbering in the hundreds over the past decade. Authorities note methodological changes over time, but the data nevertheless confirm that such offenses are recorded regularly across Germany.

The figures originate from a parliamentary inquiry submitted by AfD lawmakers, to which the federal government replied that the term “gang rape” is not explicitly codified in criminal law, requiring special statistical filtering of rape offenses committed by more than one suspect. Fact-checking groups have argued that precise classification is complicated because several forms of sexual assault fall under the same legal provision, yet the government’s own statistics still show hundreds of incidents annually involving multiple offenders.

Meanwhile, police data in Germany’s capital also show a sharp rise in sexual offenses more broadly. According to figures reported by Berlin media outlet B.Z., police recorded 7,475 sexual crimes in Berlin in 2024 — equivalent to more than twenty offenses per day, including more than two rapes daily. The data stem from a parliamentary inquiry in the Berlin House of Representatives and show that non-German suspects accounted for more than 38 percent of identified suspects, above their share of the city’s population.

Just one day after Sippel made her remarks, Remix News reported how, in Düsseldorf, three Syrian nationals are accused of raping a 27-year-old woman after she became separated from friends, with two suspects currently on trial.

Last month, we reported how a 15-year-old girl was dragged into a bush on Jan. 3, in the Wiesbaden district of Biebrich and raped by two men “speaking broken German,” who remain on the run from police.

Authorities in Heinsberg arrested five Syrian men last year over the alleged gang rape of a 17-year-old girl, while in Dresden, two teenage suspects allegedly robbed and sexually assaulted a Czech tourist at knifepoint. Other recent trials involve cases in Düsseldorf and Heilbronn, where two Afghan nationals stood trial for drugging and raping two teenage girls, aged just 13 and 15.

Sippel’s remarks quickly sparked anger online, with many users accusing her of dismissing victims’ experiences. Dozens of responses under Sippel’s social media posts criticized her intervention, with many users calling her remarks insensitive or disconnected from public concerns over crime and migration policy.

One commenter wrote, “Completely detached from reality…disgusting, mocking, and terrible to deny and ridicule victims and facts in this way.” Another asked whether she would retract her statement publicly, adding that victims would want to speak with her.

“A woman who lies by claiming that gang rape does not exist should resign immediately,” said a third.

In total, 99 comments had been made under Sippel’s most recent social media post on Facebook — every single one expressed anger at the comment she had made in disregarding gang rape as a valid concern.

France: 18 years in prison for killer of elderly Jewish man

A French court has sentenced 55-year-old Rachid Kheniche to 18 years in prison for the 2022 killing of his 89-year-old Jewish neighbor, René Hadjadj, in Lyon.

According to the court, Kheniche invited Hadjadj to his 17th-floor apartment, where he attempted to strangle him before throwing him from the balcony, causing his death.

Prosecutors had sought a murder conviction with an antisemitic motive, which would have carried a life sentence. However, the court declined to recognize antisemitism as a factor in the crime.

The judge acknowledged that Kheniche had previously shared antisemitic content on social media but ruled that prosecutors failed to prove a direct link between those posts and the killing. The court found no conclusive evidence that the attack was carried out because of the victim’s Jewish identity.

During the trial, Kheniche denied being antisemitic and said he had maintained a close relationship with Hadjadj. He also claimed he experienced a psychotic episode on the day of the incident. Although evidence showed he had posted numerous messages promoting antisemitic conspiracy theories, the court determined that this alone did not establish a clear antisemitic motive for the crime.

A lawyer for the victim’s family said the verdict reflects France’s broader handling of antisemitism cases. Representatives of the Jewish community voiced disappointment that the court did not recognize an antisemitic dimension, describing the killing of the elderly man as a particularly grave and brutal act.

A former pupil accused of stabbing two boys during a knife attack at a school in north London was arrested after he was seen inside a mosque.

The schoolchildren, aged 12 and 13, remain in hospital after the attack at Kingsbury High School in Brent which unfolded at lunchtime on Tuesday.

The 13-year-old suspect was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder later that day.

The teenager, who is a British national, arrived at the school armed with a knife at at around 12.30pm.

He went up to a first floor classroom and sprayed a substance towards a pupil, who was not injured.

The suspect then stabbed a 13-year-old boy in the classroom, before running along a hallway and down a flight of stairs. 

He then stabbed a 12-year-old boy on the ground floor, before fleeing the school.

Speaking at a press conference on Wednesday, Detective Chief Superintendent Helen Flanagan, of Counter Terrorism Policing London said: ‘Armed police attended the school and a manhunt was immediately stood up to try and locate and detain the suspect as quickly as possible.

‘While urgent enquiries were being made to try and locate the suspect, police were called by a member of the public at approximately 16:15hrs over concerns of a child who had been seen at a mosque in NW10.

Britain’s wealthiest man Sir Jim Ratcliffe has said the country has been “colonized” by immigrants.

Ratcliffe is the founder of the INEOS chemicals group and co-owner of the soccer giant Manchester United. He has an estimated net worth of around $18 billion.

In an interview with Sky News, Ratcliffe pointed to the fact that Britain’s population has exploded in the past six years as successive governments open the borders to anyone who wishes to move there.

“You can’t have an economy with nine million people on benefits and huge levels of immigrants coming in,” he said on the fringes of the European Industry Summit in Antwerp.

“I mean, the UK has been colonized,” he continued. “It’s costing too much money.”

“The UK has been colonized by immigrants, really, hasn’t it?”

”I mean, the population of the UK was 58 million in 2020, now it’s 70 million. That’s 12 million people.”

Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer, who is a fervent supporter of mass immigration, said that his comments were “offensive and wrong.”

“Britain is a proud, tolerant and diverse country,” he declared. “Jim Ratcliffe should apologise.”

Ratcliffe also weighed in on Starmer and the prospects of opposition leader Nigel Farage, who is currently leading the polls for the country’s next general election.

“I don’t know whether it’s just the apparatus that hasn’t allowed Keir to do it or, or he’s maybe too nice,” he said.

“I like him, but it’s a tough job and I think you have to do some difficult things with the UK to get it back on track, because at the moment I don’t think the economy is in a good state.”

“I think Nigel is an intelligent man, and, I think he’s got good intentions. But in a way, you could say exactly the same about Keir Starmer.”

”I think it needs somebody who’s prepared to be unpopular for a period of time to get the big issues sorted out.”

From equality to Epstein: Chomsky’s fantastic epilogue

One feels a perfect sense of schadenfreude, as if one were reading Tom Wolfe’s Radical Chic about the revolutionaries of Central Park West dining on Roquefort and champagne while talking about class struggle.

This is what I felt looking at Noam Chomsky in the private jet owned by Jeffrey Epstein.

Despite the political monstrosities he has embraced, Chomsky turned out to be a very likable man when I interviewed him.

The great MIT linguist and one of the main architects of the modern postcolonial pro-Palestinian Arab movement, turns out to be a champion of ideology and hypocrisy.

Chomsky was pictured at Hezbollah headquarters in Beirut, where he met Hassan Nasrallah on a visit that makes his meetings with Fidel Castro pale by comparison. But seeing him with Epstein is even more impressive.

Chomsky has led the life of a pleasure-loving capitalist (with houses in the wealthy wooded suburb of Lexington and a vacation home in Wellfleet).

There is nothing scandalous in itself about this for a world-famous academic; everything, however, clashes with the narrative of the “man of the people” intellectual who denounces America’s top 1 percent while occupying a privileged position within or close to it.

But the beauty of those who live off dissent in a democracy is that they are rarely called to account for their skewed idea of truth.

Chomsky reminds me of Bertolt Brecht, who moved to East Berlin but had himself paid funds into a Swiss bank account under the name “Lars Schmidt,” where the rubles he received for the Stalin Prize ended up: “Union Bank of Switzerland, Bahnhofstrasse, Zurich.” Instead of the publishing cooperatives of the German Communist Party, the red poet preferred capitalist companies that paid royalties.

And then there is Jean-Paul Sartre- rich and communist-who knew about the Soviet Gulags but kept silent so as “not to despair Billancourt” (the Renault workers). Sartre at a café table with his ever-present cigarette, Sartre strolling through Paris and the world’s capitals with Simone de Beauvoir, Sartre the playwright surrounded by famous actors, Sartre besieged by reporters at the time of the refused Nobel Prize, Sartre at assemblies at the Sorbonne, Sartre at Vietnam protests, Sartre hawking newspapers, Sartre outside the Renault gates…

This is the legend, carefully constructed-like Chomsky’s.

The reality was written by the renowned Sartre scholar Ingrid Galster in “Sartre sous l’Occupation et après. Nouvelles mises au point”, published by L’Harmattan. It seems the writer benefited in many ways from the Nazi occupation of Paris and Vichy rule, when he took over the post of a Jewish professor dismissed by Vichy. In 1943, the year Sartre became “Sartre,” he staged The Flies at the Sarah Bernhardt Theatre-except that the theatre had been “Aryanized,” and the Jewish name removed from the façade in favor of the plainer Théâtre de la Cité.

All this makes Chomsky’s complacent presence on the light leather seat of Epstein’s private jet all the more hilarious.

The New York Times reported:

“Epstein provided private plane trips, internships, Apple Watches, Hermès bags, extra-large zipper sweatshirts (those went to Steve Bannon), nearly $10,000 worth of boxers and T-shirts (Woody Allen) and an XXL cashmere sweater (Noam Chomsky)”.

From Castro to cashmere?

As far as I know, Epstein never pretended to be an equality theorist. He was simply an accumulator of capital and bodies.

Chomsky, by contrast, devoted every breath to proclaiming his own moral purity. For a man who dedicated his intellectual life to destroying the very possibility of private jets, appearing so damn comfortable on one with a man like that is simply too perfect.

Chomsky liked Epstein. But he liked Epstein’s private plane even more.

One is left to wonder whether, on those flights, the linguist ever looked out the window and recognized, even for an instant, the abyss between his words and his life. Or whether, like most of left-wing intellectuals before him, Chomsky simply closed his eyes, enjoying the view from thirty thousand feet and the privilege of never having to justify it.

A ‘trans woman’ has killed nine people in gun-controlled Canada

A horrible tragedy occurred yesterday in Canada when a killer, later identified as a “trans identifying woman,” shot nine people to death and injured 27 others, before turning the gun on himself. The Canadian establishment has been desperate to hide the truth about the shooter, but this was not a secret the establishment could sit on.

The shooting took place at the Tumbler Ridge Secondary School in tiny Tumbler Ridge, a remote rural community in British Columbia. The killer began by murdering two people at a home, then headed for the secondary school (grades 7-12), where he opened fire. Six people died on school grounds, and one died en route to the hospital.

The initial police alert described the shooter as “a female in a dress with brown hair.” (Clearly, they meant a brown-haired female, not a brown-haired dress.) Almost instantly, though, social media users (me included) posited that the shooter was probably a member of the mentally-ill cohort who claim to be the opposite of their biological sex:

The guess was a reasonable one, given the disproportionate number of so-called “transgender” mass shootings in the last few years: In 2018, a “trans woman” killed three in Aberdeen, Maryland; in 2019, a “trans man,” working with a partner, killed one and injured eight in Highlands Ranch, Colorado; in 2022, a “non-binary” person killed five and injured 19 in Colorado Springs, Colorado; in 2023, a “trans man” killed six in Nashville, Tennessee; and in August 2025, a “trans woman” killed three in Minneapolis, Minnesota. And while Tyler Robinson, soon to be tried for assassinating Charlie Kirk, does not identify as “trans,” he was in a romantic relationship with a man who did.

Considering what a small percentage of the population so-called “transgender” people are, they’ve racked up a high body count just in America.

Add in the fact that women are rarely mass shooters unless, like the Nashville shooter, they, too, are in the grip of “transgender” madness, and it was a pretty safe bet that the “female in a dress” was a man. (It’s like a bad version of the old saw: “That was no lady, that was my wife,” only this version goes “that was no lady, that was a ‘transwoman’.”)

We were correct, of course:

There are no “transgender” people. Other than an infinitesimally small cohort of people who are either male or female, but who have extra chromosomes that interfere with their physical sexual presentation, there are only two sexes.

What there are, however, are mentally ill people. Some suffer from multiple simultaneous mental illnesses, while some are responding to societal factors (e.g., disastrous family lives, including mothers with personality disorders, or societal pressure, especially from peer groups and social media).

I also believe that some are reflecting the Pill’s ubiquity (whether because their mothers took it close to the pregnancy or because it’s in the water), which is altering the hormonal wash babies receive in utero. If that’s the case, the best way to treat trans people would be to give them hormones aligning with their biological sex.

If leftists weren’t politically committed to the fantasy of so-called transgenderism, these mentally, physically, or societally ill people would get the help they need. This help would come in the form of therapy, medication, or even institutionalization. What they wouldn’t get is the constant assurance that all is right with them, no matter how miserably unhappy they are. The problem, these wretched people are told, is the outer world. Add in prescription hormones that make naturally aggressive men emotional or that make naturally emotional women aggressive, and you’ve got violence.

Of course, the Canadian establishment will not acknowledge this reality. It’s sticking to the “female” shooter narrative:

The one thing you can expect to come out of Canada now is an even more aggressive push for total gun control in a country that is already one of the most heavily controlled countries in the world.

But of course, gun control is a fiction that simply places more power in the government. The reality is that, despite its gun control policies, Canada has had several high-profile mass shootings in the last two decades.

Excluding generic gang killings in urban areas (and there have been a lot of those), the non-gang shootings over two decades have been the Dawson College shooting (1 dead, 19 injured), the Moncton shooting (3 dead, 2 injured), the La Loche shooting (4 dead, 7 injured), the Quebec City mosque shooting (6 dead, 5 injured), the Danforth shooting (2 dead shooting injured), the Fredericton shooting (4 dead), the Nova Scotia shootings (22 dead, 3 injured), the Langley shootings (2 dead, 2 injured), and now the Tumbler Ridge shooting (8 dead, 27 injured). That’s a pretty high death toll.

What the left refuses to acknowledge is that guns are tools—efficient tools, admittedly, but they have no independent agency. They function only when someone uses them, whether for good or ill. Most people use them for good.

However, there is evil in the world, and evil people will use the weapons at hand. The real problems begin when you have cultures that do not value life (that would be leftism and Islam), that glorify violent death (I’m looking at you, Hollywood), that encourage insanity (leftism) or religious violence (Islam), and that refuse to provide meaningful consequences for violent people.

Put together all those factors, and you’ll see that, to paraphrase Soylent Green, “It’s not the weapons; it’s people! Gun violence is people!”

Jack Lang and Jeffrey Epstein: The Fall of a French Leftist Icon

The scandal surrounding the release of the Epstein files has rocked the French ruling class. The most prominent victim is former Socialist Culture Minister Jack Lang. Once adored by the progressive Left for his involvement in public cultural programmes, he was forced to resign from his position as director of the Arab World Institute as the extent of his material and moral corruption—known to all but carefully concealed for years—came to light.

Jack Lang is one of those untouchable figures of the French Republic. Minister of culture during the socialist presidency of François Mitterrand, his name is associated with some of the progressive Left’s greatest achievements, like the creation of the Fête de la Musique (Music Feast), which is now held every year at the end of June. 

Since 2013, Jack Lang had been president of the Arab World Institute (Institut du Monde Arabe, or IMA), a prestigious Parisian public cultural institution dedicated to dialogue between French and Arab cultures—and very hungry for subsidies and politically correct projects. It was in 2012, shortly before his appointment as head of the IMA, that he met Epstein through filmmaker Woody Allen.

As soon as the Epstein files were made public, Jack Lang’s name circulated in the French press, his connections with the American billionaire being well-known. His name appears no less than 600 times in Epstein’s correspondence. Lang saw him as a patron and a friend. He claims to be “very naïve” and to have never heard of Epstein’s 2008 convictions for child sex offences.

Jack Lang was known for his luxurious lifestyle: a Parisian apartment on the famous and magnificent Place des Vosges, gourmet restaurants, luxury cars—he ticked all the boxes of the outward signs of wealth, notably maintained by Epstein’s gifts, in cash or in kind. Epstein lent him his car and his jet. He spent tens of thousands of dollars to maintain the ‘Lang myth’ through all kinds of productions and communications: $50,000 for a film about the epic ‘Lang years,’ $30,000 for a film in tribute to his daughter…

Jack Lang was not the only one to benefit from Epstein’s generosity. It was actually a family system. An offshore company, Prytanee LCC, based in the British Virgin Islands, was created in 2016 with “friend Jeffrey.” The idea, put on the table in 2015, was as follows: Epstein would create a fund, to which he would contribute $20 million, for Jack Lang to buy works of art, which he would later resell and share the profits 50-50. “No risk for your side. It will be fun!” Epstein enthused. “Wow!!!” replied Caroline, Jack Lang’s daughter. She worked for Warner Bros for thirty years and acted as a liaison between Jack and Jeffrey.

The fall is hard. For many years, Jack Lang was an icon of the French art world. No film, no vernissage, no exhibition could hope to attract attention unless it was supported and promoted by Jack Lang, whose opinion was considered the ultimate authority. He came to see himself as untouchable, hence his reaction when rumours of his escapades finally reached him and the question of his resignation arose: “What have I done that is reprehensible? What legal action has been taken against me? This is absurd,” he reacted, according to Le Monde.

Today, however, his former allies are forced to acknowledge that their idol had a hidden side and that many of them were well aware of his misdeeds. “He never missed an opportunity to promote himself, an honour, a medal, he is the guardian of his legacy and his recognition every second of his life… Everyone knew he didn’t pay for anything. He believes he should be invited everywhere, in luxurious conditions,” says Rima Abdul Malak, also a former culture minister.

To maintain his lifestyle, Lang had two options: either he got financed by Epstein, among others, or he simply didn’t pay—he was known for that. At Edgard’s, a prestigious Parisian restaurant, he is known as the white wolf: “The Langs will never be welcome here again, they owe me ten years’ worth of lunches,” the owner of the establishment told Le Monde. In Cannes, the city of the film festival, he left unpaid bills amounting to several thousand euros in almost all the luxury hotels on the Croisette—which now refuse to host him.

But Lang’s abysmal material corruption is certainly only part of the problem. It is the cloud of glitter that hides his moral corruption.

Jack Lang was one of the signatories of the scandalous 1977 petition published in the newspaper Le Monde, aimed at legalising or at least decriminalising paedophilia. In the Epstein files, an educational project entitled ‘Petit Prince,’ discussed with Lang in 2013, raises questions. “Should children be introduced to religion and new sexualities?” asks Jeffrey Epstein in an email. We will not know more, as the former minister does not remember what it is about.

Lang’s dark reputation, which has fuelled various theories for years, is now coming to light. In the past, recurring rumours from multiple sources have reported possible orgies involving minors in Morocco in which Lang was allegedly involved—without any investigation or conviction ever being successful. In the Epstein files, a series of emails indicate that the former minister and his wife corresponded with the American financier in 2015 about the purchase of a riad in Morocco. Lang defends himself by claiming that he was merely an “intermediary.” 

For now, the untouchable figure of the Republic is not under investigation or facing any legal proceedings. But his glory days are well and truly over.
