A ‘hero’ schoolboy who was stabbed during a double knife attack at a school in north London saved other pupils by pulling the fire alarm, it has been claimed.
Counter terror police are investigating after a 13-year-old boy allegedly shouted ‘Allahu Akbar’ as he unleashed the attack at Kingsbury High School in Brent yesterday lunchtime.
The suspect is said to be an ‘excluded’ pupil who put his uniform back on to sneak back onto the grounds by ‘climbing over a wall’.
He was allegedly armed with pepper spray and used the gas on a teacher during a science lesson, horrified witnesses claimed.
The attacker is said to have then stabbed a 12-year-old boy in the neck and another pupil aged 13 in the midriff in what is believed to have been a targeted attack.
One of the victims has since been praised by parents and on social media as a ‘hero’ who prevented the attacker from harming more pupils.
Simon Theodorou, a father of a child at the school, said he ‘pulled the fire alarm’ to get help after being stabbed.
Witnesses on social media said everyone was then evacuated from the building and that the boy ‘put himself in danger to protect others’.
