Thieves, robbed spectators and sexual assaults characterised the nightmare Saturday night at the Stade de France on the sidelines of Liverpool’s match against Real Madrid. “It’s a blatant thing that happened. I’ve never seen anything like it, groups of North Africans from Barbès, Saint-Denis….. I’ve seen women being grabbed by the chest, they’ve snatched bags away,” asserted a police officer who was present at the security operation. A second officer, who was also on duty on Saturday, confirmed sexual assaults around the stadium. “I’ve heard reports of groping hands, but I didn’t see anything,” a third, more subdued, continued. www.lefigaro.fr

Once upon a time, it was “Mona Lisa men have named you“.   Today, the lady with the mystic smile who inspired one of Nat King Cole’s greatest songs motivated a climate change activist to express his disapproval about something in the air.  This is the story:   

Paris crowds bustling to see the Mona Lisa at the Musée du Louvre on Sunday were shocked to witness a man attempt to smash the protective glass cas e surrounding the famous portrait, before then smearing cake across its surface. The act of vandalism is thought to have been an environment-related protest. 

Eyewitnesses told French press that the man had disguised himself as an “old lady” in a wheelchair, wearing lipstick and a wig. He leapt out of the chair to attack the work and then later threw flower petals on the ground. He has not yet been identified by local media.

Videos shared on social media show the man being escorted out of the gallery by museum security. 

In French, he says: “Think of the planet… there are people who are destroying the planet, think about that… That’s why I did it.”  

And so it goes.  I guess that smearing the portrait is going to remind us that we should go green, or buy more electric cars or just impose a carbon tax.   Who knows what else he was thinking?

I guess that the good news is that he did not damage the classic.  He did of course get his 15 minutes of fame which is what he wanted in the first place.

It is the kind of climate change fanaticism, all of the headlines about the world disappearing in the next decade, that makes this movement look so foolish.  The world is not going to disappear any time soon and neither is Mona Lisa, who will continue to attract more and more visitors.

What will happen to the guy dressed up as an old lady in a wheelchair? Maybe he will get spend some time in jail for trying to destroy public property. Maybe he will end up on MSNBC and explain that Donald Trump made him do it.

Or, maybe the serious people who care about the environment will cut ties with this “bouffon,” as the French call a clown.  Yes, they should tell these exhibitionists to take their act elsewhere.

The trial about the destroyed Christ figure in the Frauenberg church began on Wednesday at the Nordhausen district court. The defendant is a 26-year-old Afghan.

He allegedly removed church inventory at the end of October last year, tore the valuable Christ figure from the wall and damaged it, and broke an altar panel. He is charged with damage to property and trespassing.
After just under an hour, however, the trial was suspended. District judge Iris Kasch-Böse wants to question further witnesses and inspect files. She said that it might also be necessary to examine the culpability of the accused Afghan.

Defence lawyer Marko Siebold had previously stated that his client confessed to the crimes. However, his motivation was unclear. The 26-year-old had not acted with intent, but out of his faith and had a problem with the Christ figure in the Frauenberg church, Siebold said. According to the indictment, the material damage amounts to 2,300 euros. The Christ figure is currently being restored.

Last week the World Health Assembly was held in Geneva. The member states of the World Health Organization (WHO) met on controversial amendments to the International Health Regulations, among other things.

Countries such as Australia, Britain and the United States expressed support for the amendments and called on other countries to do the same, effectively giving away their sovereignty, writes Australian MP Stephen Andrew.

However, countries are massively opposing the plans of the globalists. “Great news!” announced Andrew. On May 25, Africa Day, Botswana read a statement on behalf of 47 African member states. The country said it would not support the “reforms”, which Africans are very concerned about.

Other countries also expressed reservations about the amendments and expressed no support, including Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, Iran and Malaysia. Brazil said it would rather leave the WHO than subject its people to the new amendments.

Ultimately, the WHO was forced to take a step back. “But they haven’t given up yet. Rather, they have formed a new working group to ‘provide technical recommendations on the proposed amendments’, which will be re-tabled in 2024 at the 77th Health Assembly along with the pandemic treaty,” Andrew said.

He noted that in the US the Republicans are strongly pushing back and have introduced bills that should prevent the WHO from gaining even more power. Andrew stressed that citizens must continue to increase pressure on the ESG agenda. ESG stands for “Environmental, Social, and Governance”. Globalists are increasingly applying these ideological non-financial factors to identify economic “risks and growth opportunities”.
