“French national education system confronted with an “epidemic” of Islamic clothing” – Propagandists for this clothing have links to the Islamists who murdered Samuel Paty

Several academies are affected to varying degrees. The phenomenon has expanded recently, suggesting that it is, if not a concerted effort, at least a pronounced proselytism. “Challenges” have even appeared on social networks asking young people to challenge their school.
According to information from L’Opinion, the territorial intelligence service has alerted the Ministry of the Interior, just as the rectorates have done for education. The file will be quickly presented to Pap Ndiaye and could serve as a test for the new minister’s firmness on violations of secularism. In Grenoble, two young girls were called to order in mid-May. The school administration of the Lycée Mounier then sent an email, quoted by the newspaper Dauphiné libéré, to the parents of the students reminding them that “non-conformist clothing (high heels, beachwear as well as long tunics considered as an ostentatious religious sign) will not be accepted”. The next day, more headscarves were worn at the entrance and a petition “against discrimination against schoolgirls” was posted on the website change.org.

These incidents occurred in the week that Eric Piolle’s majority (EELV) voted to allow burkinis in municipal swimming pools. In the department of Aisne, families were surprised to see boys in Kami outfits on the day of the Eid festival; others in the department of Oise complained of an “epidemic” of headscarf wearing. The regions of Bordeaux, Clermont-Ferrand, the suburbs of the Paris region like Paris in the urban area are also affected. Sometimes the schoolgirls take off their hooded veils at the entrance to pull them down again in the schoolyard or in the corridors, while the supervisors struggle to enforce compliance with the rules. When some schoolgirls are asked to go home, it is sometimes a group of 10 or 15 that shows up the next day.

[…]

The case is being followed with particular attention because in 2011, an ” affair of the floor-length dresses ” had provoked a polemic in Saint-Ouen (Seine-Saint-Denis). Some schoolgirls in dark dresses had found copycats at the Lycée Auguste-Blanqui, who were immediately supported by two fundamentalist groups: Forsane Alizza (“Horsemen of Pride”) and the Collectif cheikh Yassine (CCY), which have since been administratively dissolved. The latter had been founded in 2004 by Abdelhakim Sefrioui. The man was later identified by the director of the Lycée Blanqui as ” the uncle ” who had come to vehemently defend the students concerned. In 2019, Abdelhakim Sefrioui caused a scandal with the school management after a lesson on secularism and the presentation of caricatures of Mohammed in a collège in the Yvelines department. The teacher in question was Samuel Paty. The Islamist suspected of being involved in the deadly spiral that led to the attack is now in prison, charged with accessory to murder.

Germany: Trans person murdered patient in clinic

Clinic staff at Haar District Hospital noticed smoke in the psychiatric ward in building E 56 at around 10.15 am on Tuesday, May 31. The smoke came from the bathroom of a patient on the ground floor.

The fire brigade extinguished the flames. The occupant of the room was found under a pile of clothes and two mattresses. The 40-year-old woman from Munich was dead. Her body had evidence of blunt force trauma: she had been injured more than 20 times on the head and also several times on the body. In the room, the alleged perpetrator, a 32-year-old woman from Munich with Brazilian roots, was standing with a metal bar in one hand and a lighter in the other. Clinic staff then tied her up and took her to another room.

“Accordingly, we are currently assuming a premeditated homicide,” said police spokesperson Benjamin Castro Tellez. A post-mortem examination of the deceased has been ordered and has been ongoing since Wednesday morning.
It was not clear at first whether the 40-year-old woman died as a result of the fire or was already dead when the fire was set. The coroner’s report is expected on Wednesday. The homicide squad is investigating. The police arrested one person.

The 32-year-old from Munich is registered as male in her papers, but describes herself as “diverse”. Victim and suspect lived in the same building on the same floor, but in separate rooms.

The women are said not to have known each other closely. The 32-year-old was admitted to the Isar-Amper Clinic on Monday.

The Munich woman had attracted attention in the old town because she made a confused and aggressive impression on the street. Passers-by called the police. She had already attracted attention several times and had several records: four for assault, two for attempted suicide and one for stalking. According to the newspaper AZ information, she was working in the red-light district.

The 32-year-old was taken to a psychiatric hospital because she was a danger to others and to herself. The public prosecutor’s office applied to the magistrate for a warrant of committal. She is accused of murder with cruelty as a murder characteristic, she had “inflicted special pain and agony” on the victim. The motive for the crime is completely unclear.

Already in November 2021, there was a homicide in the psychiatric ward in Haar. A 35-year-old man had killed his 53-year-old neighbour.

Even urinated in the baptismal font: A racist attack on German Catholic Church

There have already been some cases of vandalism in the past. But what happened now in the place of worship in the past few days was even more brazen. This time there was even urination in the baptismal font. Christoph Eck, a member of the parish council, has strong words to say about this: “I see this as a racist attack on our religious community. Urinating in a baptismal font is a serious offence. A disrespect and disregard for our Christian Catholic faith. It is similar to desecrating graves or desecrating Jewish symbols in synagogue.”

But that was not all. The church was also set on fire. Eck speaks of an arson attack with the possible intention of completely burning down the place of worship: “This is not a trivial matter”. Rosario Moser, second chairperson of the parish council, is appalled by the incidents: ” One is speechless.” Sexton Joseph Lapeta speaks of a “huge mess”. He has discovered much of the devastation.

As a spokesperson of the Pforzheim Police Department confirmed on Monday in response to a query from our editorial office, the first incident happened on Saturday, May 29, between 12 and 7.30 pm. On that day, there had been a baptism with Father Paul Kalarickal, which sacristan Lapeta was preparing. “Everything was still in order here,” was the sacristan’s account. Lapeta closed the church at 7.30 pm on Saturday. But it must have happened by then. However, Lapeta had not noticed it yet. It was not a church service. So he just quickly checked the church to make sure no one was inside and locked both entrances.

The unpleasant surprise followed for Lapeta on Sunday morning when he arrived at the church at 9.30 a.m. to prepare for the service. He was confronted with a scene of devastation: the matchboxes on all three candlesticks were completely burnt. In the choir room, the paper towels were scattered all over the room and crumpled. They normally lie on the stone slab next to the entrance to the sacristy. A paper towel was placed on a burning candle, symbolising eternal light. The towel did not burn, however, which was presumably intended, Lapeta said. It merely smothered the flame.

But that was not all: the altar boys’ stools were misaligned. There were clear traces of shoe soles on the cushions, as Lapeta further reports. The altar cloth was dirty and crumpled. A stool stood directly in front of the altar as if it were a step. “Was there any walking on the altar?” wondered Lapeta. Moreover, one of the glass holy water bowls from the back entrance was on the altar. “Since it all seemed very strange to me, I cleaned all the bowls and the glasses containing matches in the dishwasher and renewed the altar cloth,” said Lapeta.

But the worst was yet to come: After the service, the sacristan wanted to refill the clean holy water bowls on the baptismal font. He discovered that the holy water in the baptismal font had been urinated on. Lapeta dismantled the font. It is currently lying in the grass behind the parish hall and has not yet been cleaned. “It needs to be done professionally,” Lapeta said. The plastic bowl in the baptismal font is lying there next to the basin. It should be disposed of, the sacristan suggests. “The holy water bowls were put straight back into the second rinse cycle because unfortunately they had already come into contact with what was supposed to be holy water,” Lapeta further informed.

But there was more to it than that: on Sunday, the second chairperson of the parish council, Rosario Moser, was in the house of worship at around 4.30 pm. She noticed a burning smell. “Paper towels had been set on fire at the ambo,” Moser reported.

The church is now closed until next Thursday, Moser said. Then the parish council will decide what to do next.

Germany: Islamic State Woman Who Kept Slave, Took Daughter to Syria Convicted

A German woman who took her young daughter to Syria, joined the Islamic State group there and allegedly took advantage of an enslaved Yazidi woman was convicted Wednesday of membership in a terrorist organization and other offenses.

The state court in Celle said the 34-year-old, who has been identified only as Romiena S. in line with German privacy rules, was sentenced to three years and three months in prison. She was also convicted of being an accessory to a crime against humanity, abducting a minor and breaching her duties of welfare and education.

Judges said that she traveled to Syria in 2014, taking her 4-year-old daughter against the wishes of the child’s father. She then successively married a number of IS members, enabling them to fight by running their households.

The defendant brought up her daughter and two Syria-born sons in line with IS ideology, taking the girl to the stoning of a woman when she was 6 and showing her execution videos, the court said. At one point, it added, she exploited an enslaved Yazidi woman at the home of a slave trader for a few days and guarded her as she went into town.

The defendant also posted messages on Twitter supporting extremist attacks in Nice, France, and Wuerzburg, Germany, in 2016.

She was arrested at Frankfurt airport when she arrived in October among a group of women and children repatriated from a camp in northeastern Syria where suspected IS members were held.

The court said the defendant largely admitted to the allegations against her and has now “distanced herself credibly” from IS. It said in a statement that judges also took into account the fact she wasn’t a “hard-liner” and that joining IS was in part “an escape from her previous life situation.” It didn’t elaborate.

No food in the hospital because of Ramadan… Enjoying holidays in Muslim countries!

Ingrid is determined to run a marathon again despite her injuries DDM – RB

You read a lot of good things in the Toulouse dépêche…

A young woman called Ingrid had the idea to go abroad to a Muslim country, the Maldives.

Islam is such a wonderful religion … that when she was hospitalised after a serious injury, she thought she was going to starve to death.

Poor thing, she had to do a forced Ramadan!

So much for eating Madame white tourist, in Rome behave like a Roman, in the Maldives behave like a Muslim and keep Ramadan.

Ah, the joys of globalisation! May that be a lesson to her …

Well, of course, “la dépêche” chose to focus on the accident itself. The Sharia is undoubtedly a detail …

Very typical of journalism that is satisfied with the anecdotal, the mixed up, and never delves deeply into the matter.

At the moment it’s in the Maldives, but soon Sharia will be introduced for everyone at home thanks to the “NUPES” (party the GREENS, ed.)…

REPORT. Ingrid’s trip to Sri Lanka turns into a nightmare

“I felt I was being sucked into it. And then the propeller tore my calf. Then the other leg. I screamed and luckily I was able to hold on to the ladder,” she reports. The passengers on the boat thought it was a shark attack.
Yet everything had started well for Ingrid ten days earlier. When she flew to Sri Lanka with her travel partner, she had no idea that she would not arrive back in France until mid-May. “We had signed up for the Amazon Raid. This is a combination of trail running, kayaking, cycling, canoeing and archery. It is reserved for women and has a purely humanitarian orientation,” she said.

(…) Ingrid had planned to laze around on the Maldives for three days afterwards. According to the motto: After the effort comes the pleasure. For many tourists, the Maldives are a little paradise on earth: blue skies, white sandy beaches, coconut palms and warm sea. “I was tempted to go on a day trip by boat to see sharks and dolphins. 300 euros is expensive, but I thought it was a great idea.”

She was in a boat with a guide, the helmsman and six female passengers, most of whom had participated in the Raid. She was swimming around the boat and suddenly the drama happened. For unknown reasons, the pilot hit the throttle again while Ingrid was swimming in the immediate vicinity.

Ingrid was caught by the propeller, her legs were bleeding, but she found the strength to get back on board. There is no first aid kit, but fortunately a woman on board who works as a nurse is a great help. “The three hours to port were endless with unbearable pain”.

At the quay, she is transferred to the emergency room of the local hospital. She underwent surgery, got braces and lay in bed for days, suffering from hunger.

During Ramadam, it was impossible to eat during the day. And on her own, she could not rely on her family, thousands of kilometres away, to bring food. In mid-April, she was brought back to France, where she is being treated as an inpatient at Toulouse University Hospital.

Ingrid’s story is not a sequence of whining. The mother of two daughters and self-employed hairdresser is working hard to regain her physical fitness.

“My strength is to actually believe in it. To come back stronger. Walking, of course. Hoping to run a marathon again one day. The next bone surgery is scheduled for mid-June.

‘They found our fear amusing’ – Gangs of mostly Middle Eastern and African youths robbed and even stripped UK and Spanish fans of their clothes during Paris Champions League match

Following riots during Saturday’s Champions League final in Paris, more shocking information about organized gangs of youth, made up primarily of Middle Eastern and African youths, is coming to light.

As Remix News reported yesterday, Britons who arrived in Paris were subjected to mass assaults and thefts outside the Stade de Paris in the trouble multicultural neighborhood of Saint-Denis, and witnesses are coming forward to share their traumatic experiences, including British and Spanish fans.

One Spanish fan speaking with French news channel CNews said that he arrived at the stadium with his family, when organized gangs targeted them:

“They attacked me. They were hundreds of ‘youngsters,’ or men, they were all men… They attacked me, and took my four tickets. They had cost me €6,000, but it didn’t matter anymore, we were scared for ourselves and for our children… At the exit, it was even worse. There were even more assailants. They tried to rob my wife’s bag. The attackers were watching my children cry and they were laughing. They found our fear amusing.”

Across the entire area, these roving gangs attacked people en masse, often sending people to the hospital in the process. According to sports publication Goal, one eyewitness’ graphic account relates just how extreme the situation became for some.

“There were gangs roaming around outside, looking to mug and attack Liverpool fans. We saw one lad have his watch robbed, then my brother, who was a minute or so behind me, started shouting that someone had taken his phone and his money.

“A few of them managed to catch the lad, but then four or five others came from nowhere. My brother had his face slashed, his mate had his head cut open, and another lad was bottled [smashed with a bottle].”

“They went to the police station but the officers weren’t interested. ‘Go to the hospital,’ they were told,” the man said.

“When they got to the hospital, there was a fella in there who had been hit by a metro train when running away from someone with a knife, there were loads who’d been beaten up or hit with bottles. It was grim.”

Caoimhe O’Neill, of The Athletic, described being in abject terror after a gang ran up to her and other supporters outside the stadium: “I never thought I would be so happy to leave such a beautiful city,” she tweeted Sunday morning.

Other journalists wrote that the whole issue of counterfeit tickets is a deflection away from the robberies involving youth from the “no-go zones” that exist throughout France.

“The official version of the French authorities: the problems in the Stade de France were because there were too many Englishmen with false tickets. However, the testimonies at the scene give account of robberies, groping by locals from the ‘no-go zone’ and police disorganization,” wrote French-Spanish journalist and author Alejo Schapire.

Grégory Joron from the SGP Police Unit said that it was too easy to blame the police. For him, too, the problem came from alleged counterfeit tickets and a lack of organization by the sports authorities which was exacerbated by the “descent of individuals who came to rob the spectators.”

Patrice Riberio, of the Synergie Officiers police union, also related the same phenomenon of delinquency, talking about young, isolated people acting in packs, as reported by La Voix du Nord

“We had never seen it on such a scale. Spectators were completely stripped, including their clothes,” Riberio said, adding that these scenes lasted until late at night.

As Remix News reported, other police union leaders have already addressed who was behind the thefts and assaults.

“Never had the police seen such chaos,” Gregory Goupil, secretary-general of the Alliance 93 police union, has said to the news channel TF1 Info:  “Colleagues have told us they had never seen so many unaccompanied minors, mostly North Africans, clustered and hyperactive. Local criminals were also present, but they were not dominant at all, according to them. One thing is certain, pickpockets came in droves to steal cash, wallets, or phones, sometimes even from the visually impaired or people in wheelchairs.”

As video evidence shows, large mobs of Africans and Middle Easterners hunted down English fans, often violently assaulting them.

Police officers on the ground, who requested anonymity, described multiple incidents of theft and robbery. “It didn’t stop. We have seen packs initiate countless flights,” one of them claimed.

Much of the press and political establishment in France is focusing on the issue of counterfeit tickets allegedly held by some British fans, which led many Brits to be blocked from even entering the stadium, and eventually to French police tear-gassing them, including families with children, despite no signs of serious unrest besides angry chants.

Despite the growing scandal, French Minister of the Interior Gérald Darmanin quickly proclaimed that there is no time for self-criticism. Darmanin made the spurious claim that up to 40,000 Brits had turned up in Paris with either no ticket or counterfeit tickets, placing blame for the chaotic scenes squarely at the feet of Liverpool supporters who had traveled by sea, land and air to attend the historic occasion. However, new reports show that despite claims of fake tickets, only 2,800 counterfeits were scanned, which vastly contradicts the 40,000 to 50,000 number put forth by Darmanin.

“Gérald Darmanin and Amélie Oudéa-Castéra will explain themselves to the Senate after the chaos on Saturday evening at the Stade de France. According to them, more than 30,000 counterfeit tickets were used in the stadium. According to RMC Sport information, it’s less than 3,000,” wrote the RMC Info news account.

The mayor of LIverpool, Steve Rotheram, who had his credit card, phone and tickets stolen outside the stadium, also praised English fans for acting in an orderly manner, and said in an interview that “these gangs were well organized.”

More information about arrests have come out as well, and there is a remarkable lack of English-sounding names. Some have already been sentenced in court for theft, including two illegal immigrant Algerians, one illegal immigrant Palestinian, and three Peruvians.

Merseyside Police issued a statement on Tuesday following the claims made by the French interior ministry that tens of thousands of supporters had arrived late and with fake tickets, confirming that a formal investigation into the policing of the event had been requested by Liverpool Football Club.

According to the statement, British police who were deployed in France to work in an “observatory and advisory capacity with the local officers,” reported that the “vast majority of fans behaved in an exemplary manner, arriving at turnstiles early and queuing as directed,” and would pass on such observations to any relevant inquiry.

Four UK primary schools to feed youngsters insects

Insects are supposed to be nutritious and have a lower carbon footprint than regular meat, scientists have claimed. Young children will soon be eating insects to encourage a new generation to switch from meat to insects – and to convince their parents to follow their lead.

Pupils at four primary schools in Wales will be fed “alternative proteins” such as crickets, grasshoppers, silkworms, grasshoppers and mealworms. The project to change people’s diets starts this week.

The researchers hope their findings will provide information on how to make British children – and by extension, their parents – believe in the environmental and nutritional benefits of edible insects.

Surveys, workshops, interviews and focus groups will be give feed-back on the experiences of alternative proteins. Researchers have teamed up with teachers in the hope to convince five- to 11-year-old participants to make give up meat and dairy.

“We want children to think about alternative proteins as real things for now and not just foods for the future, so sampling some of these foods is a key part of the research,” said Christopher Bear of Cardiff University.

“Although edible insects are not – yet – sold on a large scale in the UK, they are part of the diet of around 2 billion people worldwide. A large proportion of these live in parts of the world where they are part of a long-standing culinary tradition. And they’re becoming popular elsewhere, too,” he added.

A 2020 study estimated that around 9 million European consumers ate insects in 2019 and predicted a rise to 390 million by 2030, according to the International Platform of Insects for Food and Feed (IPIFF), an insect producer.

Carl Evans, Head of School at Roch Community Primary School in Pembrokeshire, which is participating in the project, said that this was an “important link” to “wider global issues around sustainable development” even if it is “often confusing for them”.

Verity Jones of the University of the West of England in Bristol, said young children could “play a big role in family dietary changes”. According to Jones, most of us are already unwittingly eating insects: “Everyone eats insects every day – there are more than 30 parts of bugs in 100g of chocolate… Bread, fruit juices, hops… whatever you eat, you eat insects.”

Jones has tried to reassure children in this way that they would not get sick from eating insects because “all research, both in adults and children, showed that the notion of whole insects were unpleasant, “but crushed insects in food are very acceptable”.

“My research has found that, as with adults, boys are more willing to try new foods first,” she said.

The UK Food Standards Agency (FSA) is expected to allow insects to be temporarily sold in supermarkets and other retailers, with full approval expected next year.

But insects can compromise the nutritional value of many foods, especially those made from plants (like rice or flour). Some common anti-nutrients contained in them are phytic acid, tannins, and lectins. The exoskeleton, or “chitin,” of an insect has been found to contain these anti-nutrients.

Insects could have the same capacity to trigger allergic reactions as do crustaceans (like shrimp and lobster). Also, many insects feed on decaying matter: rotting food, animal corpses, human waste which are full of bacteria and is a common danger associated with wild insects. They can carry parasites which are harmful, or even deadly.

Notably vegans were significantly more determined than meat eaters that they would not eat foods of insect origin, even if they were nutritious, safe, affordable, and convenient. Insects are technically animals (they belong to largest phylum of the animal kingdom, arthropods) and are therefore not considered as a food source by vegans.
