France: Because he smoked ? Bakery employee stabbed to death on the day Ramadan ended (Video)

A 47-year-old man was killed with a knife in Bagneux on Wednesday night. Although the investigation has only just begun, this murder appears to be very mysterious.

The 47-year-old was an employee of a bakery in Rue Charles-Boileau. He was working on Wednesday evening, the day Ramadan ended, which is why the shop was open late. He took his break between 11pm and 11.45pm. There was enough time to smoke a cigarette on the pavement. Then two men appeared in front of him, one of whom was armed with a knife.

According to the CCTV images examined by the police, there was initially a discussion between the duo and the bakery employee. Before one of the two attackers stabbed the victim several times.
Despite the efforts of the emergency services, who arrived on the scene shortly before midnight, the 40-year-old succumbed to his injuries. According to initial police findings, there were at least five wounds, including at least one to the carotid artery.

When analysing the video surveillance, the police discovered a man who may have been the murderer’s companion. This possible accomplice was carrying a knife, but there were no traces of blood on it. On Thursday, his involvement remained highly speculative.

The department’s criminal investigation department was entrusted with the investigation during the night. There is currently no clear clue. Especially as the victim, who lived in Argenteuil (Val-d’Oise), was not known to the police. The video recordings are being scrutinised again to try and identify the duo. The same goes for the evidence and clues found at the crime scene and the telephone research.
