A video clip has gone viral showing a young boy refusing to bow to Allah during a Beaver Scouts trip to a Stirling, Scotland, mosque as the rest of his troop and adult troop leader followed instructions and fell to their knees.
The unnamed boy didn’t protest. He simply stood quietly as everyone else around him imitated their Muslim host.

Islam requires its followers to pray toward Mecca five times daily, bowing in submission to Allah.
The field trip to the Central Scotland Islamic Centre morphed from being about learning about other religions to participating in one that is foreign to Christianity.
The boy’s action, though silent, spoke to millions across the internet who lauded him for his fortitude in resisting pressure to conform to a religious act that likely was antithetical to his personal beliefs.
“Beaver scouts (6-8yrs) taken on a trip to Stirling mosque,” U.K. activist Tommy Robinson wrote on X.
“Don’t let them take your children to these places and participate in these activities,” he cautioned.
Robinson’s video clip alone has received over 120,000 “likes” and has been viewed nearly two million times.
“A Scottish boy stood firm and refused to kneel and pray while his Scouts group visited a Muslim mosque,” Catholics for Catholics noted in a social media post that quickly gathered 700,000 views.
“Well done to this boy’s parents. We Catholics must be steadfast in our faith,” the U.S. based group declared.
