A Syrian journalist in Germany has sparked a fierce backlash on social media after penning an article questioning how appropriate it is for women to lick ice cream cones in public in a civilized society.

Writing for the Bavarian-based Süddeutsche Zeitung, Mohamad Alkhalaf sought to contrast the cultural differences between German society and that of his native Syria and used the consumption of ice cream in public as one example.

In his article titled, “Is eating ice cream outdoors obscene?” he claimed that women licking ice cream from a cone is considered “vulgar behavior” in his homeland.

“In many conservative societies, of which Syria is definitely one in a sense, women in particular are expected to show a reserved and respectful demeanor in public,” Alkhalaf wrote. “Eating ice cream and other meals that could be considered phallic in shape would be perceived as provocative or offensive,” he added.

He claimed that, upon his arrival in Munich, he was ashamed to see such offensive behavior in public but has now gotten used to it. He added, however, that many new arrivals will not understand or appreciate such public acts and may find it more difficult to adapt.

“It is 2023 and a Syrian Muslim named Mohamad from the IS stronghold of Raqqa complains in an article in an allegedly progressive left-wing newspaper that Germans are eating ice cream here outdoors,” tweeted Jan Wenzel Schmidt, an MP for the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party.

Gudrun Kofler, an Austrian Freedom Party (FPÖ) member of the Tyrolean state parliament, suggested that journalists of the left-wing Süddeutsche Zeitung instead write about “how obscene it is when men half-naked and with clearly visible male genitals dance in front of children under tight-fitting minis and sit them on their laps at publicly funded readings,” making reference to the recent LGBT Pride events taking place across the Western world.

Alexander Möhnle, head of Talk Bild TV, asked whether the newspaper was “the new trade journal for the Taliban,” while Marianna von Artsruni from the Young Forum of the German-Israeli Society said the Süddeutsche should not be providing a platform for those wishing to scandalize everyday activities such as eating ice cream and riding bicycles.

“These are not banal cultural differences that a newspaper should help to make socially acceptable,” she added.

Berlin AfD politician Georg Pazderski reminded Alkhalaf that he is a guest in Germany and should be thankful for being there.

RuPaul’s Drag Race UK star “Crystal,” whose real name is Chris Munro, was seen clad in fishnet tights and high heels, wielding an angle grinder power tool like a dildo in front of children at the Adventure Island theme park in Southend on Sea, England, on Saturday — but later denied that the performance had any sexual connotations.

Munro was seen making thrusting motions with his hips as he ran his hand up and down an angle grinder that he held to his crotch, sending sparks flying as he pressed the power tool against a metal plate on his groin. This display occurred in front of an audience of more than 50 people, including several children, according to video footage obtained by Daily Mail.

The drag queen, who appeared on the first season of the BBC’s RuPaul’s Drag Race UK, was reportedly performing at a Pride-related event being hosted at the family theme park.

Munro’s salacious behavior was blasted by concerned parents, one of whom told Daily Mail she will not return to Adventure Island after seeing the video clip.

“I won’t be going back and I won’t be taking my kids there,” Amanda, mother of two, told the outlet. “That is a line you don’t cross. That tells me everything you need to know about how they value children.”

Amanda added that her friend, who filmed the video at the theme park, was “horrified” when he saw the display, give that his child was in the audience.

“He was outraged and horrified. He was enraged by it,” she said.

Amanda also mentioned that her friend who filmed the video actually enjoys taking part in Pride events, but that this particular event was “not ok” due to children being present.

Meanwhile, the drag queen told Daily Mail that he believes “nothing” he did in the performance was sexual.

“My act is no different to what you might see on Britain’s Got Talent, from Lady Gaga on MTV, or from a street performer in Covent Garden,” Munro insisted.

“This is deemed ‘sexual’ solely because I was performing in drag,” he claimed.

This is not the first time Munro had made headlines.

In 2021, it was reported that the RuPaul’s Drag Race UK performer was suing My Son Hunter star Laurence Fox after the actor called Munro and two other people a “paedophile” on social media.

The entire “transgender” ideology is a post-modern war on reality. Human biology (indeed, all mammalian biology) is based on a male and a female of the species procreating for the species’ survival. Babies are the ultimate affirmative of that reality, which may explain why the battle for cultural dominance has moved to the world of pregnancy. Historically, doctors and mothers have worked together to optimize the baby’s well-being, unless doing so would destroy the mother’s health because of something like cancer. The new movement, though, is to subordinate the baby to a “transman’s” unique “health” needs.

The survival of the human species and morality both argue in favor of a pregnant woman doing everything she can to ensure that her baby is born healthy. In the modern era, she’s partnered with her physician to optimize this outcome. The mother also tries to stay as healthy as possible on the principle that healthy women give birth to healthy children.

The main exception to this baby-centered focus arises when being pregnant puts the mother’s health at risk. When a mother is diagnosed with cancer, for example, she must decide whether to forego treatments or end the pregnancy. It’s a terrible decision to have to make and, thankfully, a relatively rare one.

Now, though, for the first time in history, we have a new class of pregnant women. These are women who deny their biological reality and contend, even as their biologically female sex organs functioned perfectly to create a baby, that they are actually men or “it” people, free from all biological sex constraints.

If we had a sane and functioning medical system, these people would be given psychological care before getting pregnant or while pregnant. However, those days are gone, so we have Danielle Jones, M.D., an OBGYN, assuring everyone that men and it people are getting pregnant:

Despite spouting this nonsense (or perhaps because of it), the Texas-trained and based physician has a popular TikTok page with 1.2 million followers. On her page, unsurprisingly, she identifies herself as a transgender and gay ally.

Once you have physicians who hold ideas every bit as bizarre as the ancients did (with their ideas about bleeding and women’s hysteria), you also start having university-based medical “ethicists” who argue that keeping a so-called transman’s testosterone prescription flowing during pregnancy, regardless of the consequences for the baby, is a good idea:

These ideological shifts have raised substantial concerns regarding potential harm that such denial of biological realities could inflict on patients. However, recent academic discourse has escalated these concerns to new levels. A provocative new paper in the journal Qualitative Research in Health titled “Medical uncertainty and reproduction of the ‘normal’: Decision-making around testosterone therapy in transgender pregnancy” by Pfeffer and colleagues propels us further down the road of medical malpractice.

The authors, a group of transgender sociologists and enthusiasts, and healthcare activists, with not one medical degree among them, argue to dramatically move the goal posts of medical ethics, choosing to completely disregard the health, safety, and well-being of the developing fetus, all in the name of “trans” inclusion. Abiding by their paper’s guidance would land us in a vacuum devoid of medical ethics and a seismic shift away from the importance of scientific research and medical evidence in favor of activist directed healthcare.

The authors argue that “gendered” pregnancy care is too focused on helping women have healthy babies, and that it might be okay for transmen to continue taking testosterone during pregnancy despite the known health risks to the fetus and effects on its normal development. The desire for “normal fetal outcomes,” according to the authors, is rooted in a problematic desire “to protect their offspring from becoming anything other than ‘normal’” and “reflect historical and ongoing social practices for creating ‘ideal’ and normative bodies.” (Emphasis mine.)

Think about that: Normal women agonize about foregoing necessary cancer treatment to keep their baby alive. The new generation of medical ethicists argues that a baby shouldn’t even be considered because it’s more important to feed the mother’s mental illness. This is a profound reminder that academia is churning out people who claim ethical superiority but who lack the moral principles on which Western civilization is based.

We are in a morally dark place. It’s such a dark place that, when you watch the following video, you cannot tell if this seemingly mentally ill man who claims to be a woman is being ironic, in a Jonathan Swift fashion, or if he means what he says. After all, his words are completely aligned with the new ideology infecting the public, generally, and the medical world, specifically:

A woman who was jailed in June for killing her unborn child while being considerably over the legal limit for abortions in the UK has won her appeal and will now be released from prison, with an appeals judge saying the case called for “compassion, not punishment”.

Carla Foster, 45, had been sentenced to 28 months imprisonment — only 14 months of which, at most, would actually be served in prison — for using an abortion pill meant to be used on babies no older than ten weeks on a 32-to-34-week pregnancy. The case generated considerable interest, particularly from the left-wing press and activists, who called it wrong to jail a woman for killing her unborn child illegally.

Now a judge has appeared to side with that view, the BBC reports, with the Court of Appeal finding there is “no useful purpose” in keeping Foster in prison, and accordingly reducing her sentence”. Per the report, Judge Dame Victoria Sharp said it was a “very sad” cases which “calls for compassion, not punishment”.

The Court reduced the sentence from 28 months with 14 suspended, to 14 months suspended. This is a non-custodial sentence which in this case means as long as Foster is not convicted for another crime in the coming months, there will be no further repercussions for the illegal abortion.

The British Pregnancy Advisory Service, an abortion provider which also campaigns against Britain’s laws restricting abortions, hailed the ruling, with a spokesman saying they were delighted and that: “The court of appeal has today recognised that this cruel, antiquated law does not reflect the values of society today… Now is the time to reform abortion law so that no more women are unjustly criminalised for taking desperate actions at a desperate time in their lives.”

As reported at the time of the original conviction:

Judge Mr Justice Pepperall found that Carla Foster… made a “tragic and unlawful decision to obtain a very late abortion” with a pill meant to be used on pregnancies no further along than ten weeks. In fact, a post-mortem of baby Lily born after Foster took a dose of mifepristone on May 9th 2020 found it was between 32 and 34 weeks old.

In UK law, abortion is not legal after 24 weeks.

As British children’s and pregnancy charity, Tommy’s, says of children born at 33 weeks: “If your baby was born this week, they would be classed as moderate to late preterm. It’s unlikely that they will have any severe problems associated with being born prematurely”… the judge said that Foster knew she had been pregnant for months and had an internet search history looking for how to induce a miscarriage and how to get an abortion past the legal limit. The mother ultimately “gave false answers” during a remote consultation with an abortion provider called the British Pregnancy Advice Service to get the pills by deception.

The judge wrote that after taking the pills, Foster continued lying during her miscarriage and afterwards, telling paramedics, medical staff, and police she was not aware she was pregnant. Judge Pepperall wrote: “Your culpability is high in that your pregnancy was between 32-34 weeks’ gestation; you knew full well that your pregnancy was well beyond the legal limit of 24 weeks; you deliberately lied in order to bring yourself within the telemedical service for early medical abortions”.

Foster was able to access the pills without an in-person meeting with a medical professional because the United Kingdom had introduced abortions by post due to coronavirus lockdowns. While the move was said to be temporary, so-called home abortions via “telemedicine” were formalised and made permanent in 2022.

Since the start of the summer bathing season, violence and sexual assaults at Germany’s public swimming pools by the country’s migrant community have made national headlines and become a red-hot topic. Now, one of Germany’s top newspapers has attempted to explain away the violence due to rising french fry prices.

“The price of fries is rising in outdoor pools. It’s a tragedy — they’re one of the mainstays of summer. No wonder many bathers go nuts,” reads the article from Zeit. The article proceeds to glorify french fries as a staple of every German’s swimming experience and makes further claims about what kind of effect rising prices are having on “unrest” in the pool system.

Many in Germany were quick to pounce on the article. After all, there have been serious incidents inside Germany’s swimming pools, including seven girls who were sexually assaulted in the course of two days at just one location. To critics of the french fry theory behind pool violence, using such a claim to explain severe sexual assault or riots took the debate to a new level of absurdity.

Germany’s Alternative for Germany (AfD), which is currently the second most popular party in Germany after soaring in the polls — in part due to its strong anti-immigration stance — has been hammering the political and journalist class on the chaos seen at some of the country’s swimming pools.

“Zeit blames ‘french fry prices’ for violence and sexual assaults in outdoor pools, ZDF claims an interplay of heat and the meeting of many people, Deutschlandfunk writes about too high ‘expectations’ that cannot be met. The degree to which the media trivializes migration problems no longer knows any limits,” wrote Alice Weidel, parliamentary leader of the AfD party.

The AfD leader was likely referring to an article from last year, which claimed that climate change and associated temperature increases could explain away the violence at Germany’s swimming complexes. At the same time, Deutchlandfunk argued that bathers had expectations that were impossible to meet, which was sparking mass violence.

However, the actual workers at the swimming pools have offered an entirely different reason for the increasing violence. Just last week, employees of the Columbiabad outdoor swimming complex in Berlin penned a letter to the Der Tagesspiegel newspaper complaining about perpetrators they describe as “mainly Arab migrants and Chechens” who are engaging in the sexual harassment of women and mass brawls on the premises, while also leaving the complexes in disgusting conditions. As a result, the entire pool was shut down for an indefinite period of time due to workers calling out sick from stress.

There is no section in the letter where the pool employees cite growing tensions over rising french fry prices or climate change as reasons behind the violence at the swimming pools.

Remix News has long reported on this trend, including mass brawls and sexual assaults, as well as attacks on police, security officials and even lifeguards working at the pools.

In 2022, Remix News covered how the president of the Federal Association of German Swimming Champions (BDS), Peter Harzheim, said he can no longer recommend that families visit such facilities on weekends. Harzheim claimed he would be “acting irresponsibly” if he attended an outdoor pool with his own three grandchildren due to violence and assaults, which the Remix News article details.

Some individuals have been seriously injured. Last year, for example, a woman had her nose broken when she was caught in the middle of a mass brawl involving foreigners.

The beginning of this year’s summer bathing season has seen another wave of mass brawls, and this time, a variety of news services have seen ratings successes in their coverage, including a video from Welt that garnered over half a million views.

Welt’s report details how the entire Columbiadamm swimming pool in the multicultural neighborhood of Neukölln, Berlin, was closed down due to over 40 warring youth. Welt lays the blame squarely at the feet of “macho culture” from immigrant youth. In Pankow, a swimming pool had to be shut down twice in one week due to mass brawls between young people.

In the German city of Celle, 20 “rampaging youth” attacked swimmers and sexually assaulted them, including beating one female who rejected their advances. When lifeguards attempted to stop them, they threatened them as well. As a result, the entire swimming pool was shut down.

Now, Germany’s left-wing government is proposing around-the-clock police forces at problem locations and increased security screening. However, the AfD has called for stronger borders for Germany in order to have no “borders” at Germany’s beloved public swimming pools.

Braving heavy rain, the Indian community in Frankfurt held a peaceful protest urging Prime Minister Narendra Modi to save a two-year-old Indian child who has been living in foster care in Berlin for over 20 months.

The community called for repatriation of Ariha Shah who has been living in foster care since September 23, 2021 after the German authorities accused parents, Dhara and Bhavesh Shah, of abusing the child.

Holding banners and placards that read, ‘Ariha is Indian’, the crowd was seen chanting, “Modiji Save Ariha!” in a video tweeted on Saturday by Save Ariha, a campaign run by volunteers across the globe for the child’s repatriation to India.

“Today, Indian community in Frankfurt, Germany held protest against the injustice happening with Indian baby Ariha in Germany,” the tweet, which was shared along with the video, read.

“Despite heavy rain, they stood strong, demanding repatriation of Ariha Shah and asking @PMOIndia… Modiji Save Ariha! Ariha is Indian,” the tweet said.

Last month, Berlin’s Pankow local court granted Ariha’s custody to the German state while dismissing the parents’ contention that the injury sustained by their child was “accidental”.

Reacting to the verdict, Ariha’s parents said they have full faith that Prime Minister Modi and Minister of External Affairs S. Jaishankar will bring their child back to India.

“From today, we hand over Ariha to 140 crore Bhartiyas,” the parents said in a statement.

Calling it a “very delicate matter”, Jaishankar had raised the issue during wide-ranging discussions with his German counterpart Annalena Baerbock in December 2022.

“We have concerns that the child should be in her linguistic, religious, cultural and social environment. This is her right. And our embassy is pursuing the matter with German authorities, but it was also a subject which I had brought up with the Minister,” Jaishankar had said at a joint media briefing.

More than 50 MPs from 19 political parties, including Shashi Tharoor, Maneka Gandhi, Mahua Moitra, K. Kanimozhi and others, sent a joint letter to German Ambassador in New Delhi, Philipp Ackerman, urging him take all necessary efforts to facilitate the repatriation of Ariha to India as soon as possible.

According to estimates, Indians make up around 0.2 per cent of the German population and as of 2023, two lakh Indians live in the country.

A new proposal by the German left-wing government reads like legislation from former communist dictatorships. In future, it is to be made impossible for critics of the government and other inconvenient contemporaries to leave Germany and even to obtain a passport. There are also plans to take away their passports.

Total surveillance state takes further shape

A new passport law is currently being drafted in the committees of the Bundestag. In the recent past, politically unpopular persons were repeatedly not allowed to leave the Federal Republic of Germany in order to participate in political events abroad. Now, the parties of the “traffic light” party are planning the next step: the passport of opponents of the government is to be withdrawn across the board (or not issued at all) if there is a suspicion that they might participate in events abroad that “contradict the principles of the free democratic basic order”.

On the surface, this is argued with the participation in “right-wing extremist and extremist events” abroad, which are increasingly moving abroad due to the consistent action of the German junta. Behind the scenes, however, they want to further restrict basic rights.

In order to prevent German nationals from participating in right-wing extremist events abroad, the competent authorities have often imposed exit bans and passport refusals against possible participants on the grounds of sections 7 and 10 of the Passport Act (PassG). However, since in many cases those affected successfully appealed against this, a general withdrawal of passports is now being considered. The administrative courts and authorities are also to be put under increasing pressure to decide and act accordingly:

“Against this background, the Committee on the Interior and Home Affairs of the German Bundestag calls on the Federal Government:

1. to work towards concretising the passport administration regulation to the extent that, in the case of intended participation in extremist events abroad, the content of which contradicts the principles of the free democratic basic order of the Basic Law, a threat to the international reputation of the Federal Republic of Germany and thus to another significant interest of the Federal Republic of Germany within the meaning of section 7 (1) no. 1 var. 3 of the Passport Act is to be assumed
   and
2. to work towards improving the flow of information from the security authorities to the passport authorities, so that when deciding on a passport denial, the passport authorities have a sufficient factual basis to be able to make a passport denial that is legally sound.”

The Church of England has been accused of promulgating “explicitly politically partisan” school lessons to children who are being taught Critical Race Theory-style ideologies such as “white privilege”.

Last week it emerged that Church of England school pupils in the Diocese of St Edmundsbury and Ipswich are being indoctrinated in leftist theories surrounding race, including how a “white supremacy pyramid” of bias, prejudice and stereotypes “can lead to racist words and actions, leading to physical harm and death”.

CoE Teaching guidance, exposed by the campaign group Don’t Divide Us, went on to tell children that in order “to combat white privilege, keep learning about what it is, amplify the voices of People of Colour, be more than just ‘not racist’ but actively ‘anti-racist’ and confront racial injustices even when it feels uncomfortable.”

White children have also been told that they benefit from being “the dominant representation on all media”, “no one questions your citizenship”, “you may have inherited power and wealth”, and that “your actions aren’t perceived to be those of your entire race”.

The introduction of far-left ideologies in the Diocese, which oversees 87 schools, has been criticised as “explicitly politically partisan”.

The author of the Don’t Divide Us report, Dr Alka Sehgal-Cuthbert, said per The Telegraph: “The Church of England diocesan board of education, if you look on their education website, you will see an image of guidance to Church of England teachers which is really, frankly, the most explicitly politically partisan guidance that we’ve come across.

“There are images of upraised fists, there’s directions to amplify black voices in the classroom, which frankly I think is really unthinking, because that could be really patronising. I would really hate to think people listen to me because of my skin colour, rather than the efforts and the work that I put into my work and profession.”

In response to the outcry, Revd Canon Nigel Genders wrote on the Church of England’s website that it “has never been more important” to teach “racial justice” theories to children.

“In Church of England schools we are committed to addressing the issue. Not by building up some people at the expense of others or by suggesting children are personally responsible for past injustices; rather we must face our past and by doing so build a more just society for all,” he wrote.

“This includes learning about the enduring impact of slavery and the reality of institutional and systemic racism.”

“The wider Church’s work on racial justice is not an attempt to reflect demographic trends in society, to be politically correct, or to engage in a culture war but rather is fundamental to what we believe as Christians.”

The controversy is just the latest example of leftism being installed within the Church of England, with Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby frequently espousing left-wing views and inserting himself in national political debates including on issues such as illegal immigration, climate change, to even vaccination during the Chinese coronavirus crisis.

The Chruch has also increasingly adopted radical views on gender, with the Archbishop of York, Stephen Cottrell earlier this month branding the Lord’s Prayer as “oppressively patriarchal” for referring to God as “Our Father”.
