French riots: 2 off-duty police officers ‘beaten like dogs’ by mob in brutal video

Police sources have confirmed that the shocking viral video of a man laying unconscious on the ground after being beaten by Arab rioters was an off-duty French police officer. He was one of two off-duty officers severely wounded by the mob. The targeted beating took place on Thursday night, which marked the third night of rioting that has rocked France since the police shooting of 17-year-old French-Algerian Nahel M., who was well known to the police for his lengthy criminal history.

In the video, one man is heard saying to the unconscious off-duty officer: “You’re knocked out on the ground, huh? That’s it, the Arabs — they f**ked you up.”

WARNING: GRAPHIC VIDEO

According to French newspaper Le Figaro, another officer was also assaulted. The first officer suffered a fractured jaw and the second received several stab wounds. Although the riots began in Paris, they have spread to a variety of French cities, and Marseilles has been hit hard.

While returning to their car, the off-duty officers were blocked on the road by burning trash cans in the 1st arrondissement of the city. When one of them got out to clear the way, one of the rioters recognized him. At that point, approximately 20 individuals violently attacked them, according to a police source.

Both officers were taken to the hospital. While police continue to look for the attackers, no arrests have yet been made in the case. However, an investigation into attempted murder has been opened.

French President Emmanuel Macron’s interior minister, Gérald Darmanin, offered comment on the two officers, saying: “They were beaten on the ground like dogs, there are no other words.”

On Thursday evening, 40,000 officers were deployed across France, but this did not stem the rioting. As Remix News reported, police stations, buildings, and mass looting took place across the country. The French interior ministry reports that over 800 arrests were made and 249 officers were injured.

Officers have been hit with Molotov cocktails and firework mortars, and subjected to physical assaults, with one French police union now threatening to mutiny unless they are given more resources, writing: “We are at war.”

In Marseilles, the city where the officers were beaten, the largest library in the city was also set on fire. The library contains priceless works of art and literature that date back to Medieval times.

The rioters have not only targeted police officers but also seemingly random White people who have been pulled from their vehicles and beaten by mobs.

Club of Three: Venezuela and Brazil bar leading presidential candidates from running for office

By Monica Showalter

Under the news radar, two ugly power grabs from a pair of would-be Marxist dictators were announced yesterday from South America.

From socialist Venezuela:

CARACAS (Reuters) -Maria Corina Machado, one of the favorites to win the Venezuelan opposition’s nomination for president in an October primary, has been barred from holding public office for 15 years, the country’s controller general said in a letter.

Machado, a 55-year-old industrial engineer and former lawmaker, is leading polling for the 13-candidate primary, convened to select a unity candidate to face socialist President Nicolas Maduro in a 2024 election.

A previous ban placed on her has been expanded because Machado supported sanctions by the United States on the Maduro government and backed former opposition leader Juan Guaido, the letter said.

From socialist Brazil:

Brazil’s far-right ex-president Jair Bolsonaro vowed Friday to appeal a court ruling barring him from public office for eight years over unfounded attacks he had made against the country’s voting system.

The ruling renders the 68-year-old ineligible to stand in the next presidential election in 2026 — opening the contest for a new leader for Brazil’s political right.

Bolsonaro was tried by the Superior Electoral Tribunal (TSE) over claims he made in a televised meeting with foreign diplomats in July 2022, during which he claimed electronic voting machines in use since 1996 compromised election transparency.

Sound like any place you might know?

It’s like a Club of Three, given that the third person up for barring is President Trump. He’s in very good company with these top leaders, and vice versa.

What we have here is the entrenched left seeking to knock out its potential opposition after falling in the polls as election time beckons. The backdrop is years of economic and political mismanagement from the incumbents and the aim has been to achieve total, permanent power. If that can’t be accomplished through elections, then the next step has been to shut the opposition down.

The grounds for the barrings in these South American incidents aren’t accusations of taking, say, $30 million in bribe money. These were speech crimes, process crimes, flimsy pretexts never before seen back when these countries were functioning democracies. The political aims have been obvious to all. And it’s no surprise that with these same incumbents in power, there also have been credible accusations of election fraud or suspected election fraud.

Rigging has existed in both places, but the one thing that’s different here is that they’ve gotten pretty bold and brazen about it, not even trying to cover up the flimsy politicized pretexts for these ultimate power grabs.

That might just coincide with what’s going on in the U.S., where the left has demonstrated that it will do anything — anything — to bar President Trump from re-running for office.

They like flimsy pretexts, too.

And while these countries are perfectly capable of commiting fraud on their own, one can’t help but think maybe the Democrat adoption of these banana republic ways of keeping the oppositiion from power, might just be influencing their actions.

It’s sad stuff, more of the ugly foreign policy influence of Joe Biden, who, as Bob Gates has said, has been wrong on just about every foreign policy issue.

Biden and his Democrats have opened the gates to these emboldened tyrannies to bar their opposition leaders on ridiculous grounds. The path to this sorry state of affairs, was paved by Democrats, who are still hammering away at their grand mastertask of barring President Trump from ever running for office, and barring American voters, from choosing the candidate that they want.

We are at war with vermin: French Police unions release an official statement on violent protests

Amid the ongoing violence in France, the Unions which represents half of the French police announced on the 30th of June, that they are engaged in a ‘war against vermins’. France has been witnessing violent protests, acts of looting, arson, and vandalism after an officer shot a teenager, Nahel M, outside Paris on Tuesday, 27th June.

As per media reports, two of the country’s top police unions, Alliance Police Nationale (APN) and UNSA Police have warned of a revolt unless the French government provides concrete legal protection to the police.

They said, “Today the police are in combat because we are at war. Tomorrow we will enter resistance and the government should be aware of this.”

In their official communique, they remarked, “Faced with these savage hordes, it’s no longer enough to call for calm, it must be imposed.”

As per the translated English version, the letter’s heading categorically states “Now that’s Enough”.

The Unions said, “Facing these savage hordes, asking for calm is no longer enough, it must be imposed! Restoring the republican order and putting the apprehended beyond the capacity to harm should be the only political signals to give.”

It also called for unity within the police family. The Unions said that in the face of such exactions, the police family must stand together.

The Unions further asserted that like the majority of citizens, their colleagues too can no longer bear the tyranny of these ‘violent minorities’.

It further read, “The time is not for union action but for combat against these “pests”. Surrendering, capitulating, and pleasing them by laying down arms are not the solutions in light of the gravity of the situation. All means must be put in place to restore the rule of law as quickly as possible.”

However, the Unions anticipate that once things are restored, they already know that the country will relive this mess that they have been enduring for decades.

They also warned the government that in the end, they will be in action and hence require concrete measures for the legal protection of the Police and appropriate penal response.

The letter added that they will also judge the extent of the consideration given by the government, saying that if the officers will not be given greater legal protection and more resources in the future, “tomorrow they will be in resistance”.

This warning comes in the wake of President Macron’s earlier statement on June 28, that infuriated the Unions. Back then, he had described the shooting as “inexplicable and unforgivable”.

Will Emmanuel Macron impose an Emergency?

French President Emmanuel Macron has refrained from officially declaring a state of emergency in the riot-affected areas. Instead, he pledged more police officers to bring back the situation to normalcy.

In response, the union statement released soon after said, “Now is not the time for industrial action but for fighting against these ‘vermin’.”

However, this letter by the Unions representing half of the French Police has not gone down well with several politicians, particularly from the Left-wing parties in France.

Jean-Luc Melenchon is the former presidential candidate for the hard-left France Unbowed (LFI) party. He tweeted, “Police ‘unions’ calling for civil war should learn to keep quiet. We’ve seen the fatal behaviour this kind of talk leads to. Politics needs to regain its grip on the police.”

Greens party leader Marine Tondelier also condemned the Unions’ letter. Tondelier said, “Can we finally say that we have a structural problem in the police? This text is an appeal for civil war.”

The violent spree has been continuing in France for nearly a week now. Apart from countless incidences of arson and looting, the rioters, on June 30, burned down the largest library in Marseilles city in Alcazar.

Germany: Two years after knife murders, another knife attack by man in Arab clothing in Würzburg (Video)

At the very spot where almost exactly two years ago a Somali killed three people in a gruesome way, there was another knife attack by a 26-year-old in the Franconian city of Würzburg yesterday.

After the courageous intervention of a shopkeeper, the police were able to arrest the man with a knife in his hand: “The 26-year-old was standing in front of a department store on Friday and made a psychologically stressed impression,” the police reported. No people were injured in the incident. According to the police, the officers had to use pepper spray during the arrest. The reasons for the man’s behaviour remained unclear at first.”

At the very place where yesterday’s events took place, Würzburg’s Union mayor had inaugurated a memorial for the people who were victims of a knife attack by a “protection-seeking” Somali in 2021.

Just a few days ago, I noted the following: This barely noticeable, sloppy commemoration suits the context: Würzburg still advertises itself as a “safe haven” for illegal migration. And thus lays the foundations for the guaranteed continuation of the horror, especially in Würzburg, which otherwise appears so peaceful and bourgeois.

French riots: French-Algerian teenager killed by police was ‘no angel,’ while those who protested migrant rape and murder of 12-year-old Lola were branded ‘racist’ and ‘fascist,’ says Éric Zemmour

Many media reports are excusing the mass riots that are destroying France over the last three days due to “rage” over the police shooting that killed a 17-year-old teen. However, that same media labeled those who protested the rape and murder of 12-year-old schoolgirl Lola by an Algerian migrant in 2022 as “fascists” and “racists,” according to Reconquête party leader Éric Zemmour.

“The death of a young man is always sad, no matter what. But he was not “an angel,” as Kylian Mbappé says. At the age of 17, he already had a very extensive criminal record. On the other hand, when you demonstrate calmly for a child who has been cut into pieces by an Algerian in an irregular situation, little Lola, you are called ‘rebellious,’ ‘fascists’ and ‘racists,’” said Zemmour during an appearance on Europe 1 television station.

As Remix News reported yesterday, the 17-year-old French-Algerian Nahel M., who was shot and killed during a traffic stop, had 15 offenses on his criminal record, including resisting arrest, narcotics offenses, and driving violations, including driving with a fake license plate. On the day he was stopped by police, he also reportedly almost hit a cyclist and pedestrian.

Many media reports have been silent about Nahel M.’s criminal history, with instead many alluding that his shooting was based on “racism.”

For example, France 24 pointed out that the United Nations rights office was “concerned” about police racism following the shooting.

“This is a moment for the country to seriously address the deep issues of racism and racial discrimination in law enforcement,” spokesperson Ravina Shamdasani said.

In contrast, when 12-year-old Lola was raped and killed by an Algerian migrant already scheduled for deportation, the same media went into damage control mode, claiming migrants were “threatened” by growing anger over the issue. Those who marched in Lola’s honor were branded as racist and fascist, even though they conducted peaceful demonstrations and did not resort to widespread looting and violence.

As Remix News reported in 2022, even memorials to the murdered schoolgirl were torn down, while Nahel M., a known criminal, is being lionized by migrant communities across France.

Zemmour also points to similar riots that took place in 2005, but he says these are far worse than that year.

“These riots are much more serious than those of 2005. Why? Because at the time we used 10,000 to 12,000 police officers, today we are at 40,000. And clearly that is not enough Because today all of France is affected and not just the suburbs. Small towns are also affected because for 20 years immigrants have been distributed there,” wrote Zemmour on Twitter.

Damien Rieu, who is a politician for Zemmour’s party, has been regularly posting footage of the ongoing riots and covering them in detail. However, last night he wrote that the scale of the riots is overwhelming.

“This is the first time in 15 years of watching the news that I can no longer follow at all because there are so many riots. If the night does not end in tragedy, it will be a miracle,” he wrote on Twitter.

There are now talks of a state of emergency being called in France, with French President Emmanuel Macron reportedly deciding against it up until now.

However, politicians are questioning whether France even has the means to enforce a state of emergency, as 40,000 police officers have so far failed to quell the disorder.

“The collapse of the country comes to light. Do we even have the means to enforce a state of emergency? Committed to the front line, our police forces will not be able to compensate for the generalized political bankruptcy forever,” wrote Les Republicans MP Aurélien Pradié on Twitter.

Over 850 arrests have been made and dozens of police officers injured during the riots that have spread from Paris to Lille, Marseilles, Lyon and Toulouse.

France: “The last prophet is Mohamed”, an evangelical church vandalised in Marseille

It was with astonishment and dismay that the worshippers and pastor of the Philadelphia Protestant Evangelical Church in Marseille discovered their place of worship vandalised on Wednesday June 28. On arrival, they were exposed to broken windows, broken doors and furiously torn out panelling. The furniture on the stage where the pulpit stands was also knocked over, reports the news medium Info Chrétienne.

Besides the property damage, tags were also found on the walls of the compound. “The final prophet is Mohamed”, “Jesus is not God”, were read. Undoubtedly an act of an anti-Christian nature, as Romain Choisnet, communications director of the National Council of Evangelicals of France, pointed out on Twitter.

The pastor of the church, who is a member of the National Council of Evangelicals of France in Bouches-du-Rhône, has filed a complaint. The National Council of Evangelicals of France, made known by Romain Choisnet, shared its support and prayers with the faithful of the devastated church and hopes that the perpetrators will be caught and punished quickly.

France: Migrant rioters threaten Jews with “Holocaust”

twitter

They hate the police. They despise the state. And apparently some of the youthful rioters in France also hate Jewish people.

After the death of 17-year-old Nahel M., who was shot by a police officer, chaotic youths in the Parisian suburb of Nanterre sprayed hateful slogans on a Holocaust memorial. A video shows someone spray-painting the words “Fuck the police – gang of dogs – we will make you a Shoah” on the memorial. Shoah”, like “Holocaust”, is a term for the murder of six million Jews during the Nazi era.

Under the motto of the memorial “For the martyrs of deportation” someone spray-painted “Police rabble”. Next to it, “Fuck le 17”, the title of a rap song in which the police are badly attacked. In France, you can call the gendarmerie on the telephone number 17.

Another video posted on Twitter also shows a man trying to light a French flag in front of the memorial.

The fact that the rioters, many of them apparently with a Muslim background, chose a place that is supposed to commemorate victims of the murder of Jews for their vandalism shocks many observers. The European Jewish Congress tweeted: “It is truly horrible to see the memorial to the martyrs of the deportations in Nanterre vandalised. This is a shameless act that does not respect the memory of the victims of the Holocaust. It must be fully condemned and those responsible must be held accountable.”

40 000 police officers are on duty. On Friday night, 249 of them were injured across France and almost 700 rioters were arrested. While the situation on the streets is becoming increasingly dangerous,

Nahel M., known to the police for twelve different offences, had been checked by police officers in a Mercedes with Polish licence plates on Tuesday morning. Shortly before he hit the accelerator and was shot a fraction of a second later, a policeman allegedly shouted, according to video footage: “I’m going to put a bullet in your head”. The policeman is in custody. Suspicion: manslaughter.
