He injured three people, engaged in a wild chase with the police: now a dramatic video shows how that Iraqi hijacked a car in Linz – with his assault rifle in his hand.
After a suspected knife attack on his 42-year-old wife on Monday morning, a 41-year-old man caused multiple gunshot wounds and car accidents from Linz all the way to Leonding until his dramatic arrest. A policewoman and a policeman had been seriously injured (eXXpress reported). A video now shows further dramatic scenes: With his assault rifle in hand, the Iraqi hijacked a car in Linz.
“Whoever takes in half of Calcutta does not help Calcutta, but becomes Calcutta himself. This quote by Peter Scholl-Latour unfortunately fits too well with the incident in which an Iraqi stabbed his wife and one of her colleagues, as well as seriously injuring at least one policeman, and subsequently hijacked this car,” wrote Vienna’s Freedom Party leader Dominik Nepp about the video.
The first victim, his wife, had called the police herself at 6.45 a.m. and was taken to hospital with abdominal injuries. The Iraqi then drove to the woman’s workplace and attacked his alleged rival with a knife and also seriously injured him. During his subsequent flight out of town in the direction of Leonding, he was involved in two traffic accidents. An eyewitness reported a large number of heavily armed police officers and a completely demolished car. Another witness stated that the man had tried to pull the driver of a van out of the vehicle. He allegedly drove straight into two police officers. A collision ensued in which one policewoman was injured in the foot, a second policeman was so seriously injured that he was still in a coma on Monday afternoon. He then took an assault rifle from the officers and fled until the special Cobra unit was finally able to stop and arrest him.
The German federal government’s plan to make naturalization easier and reform the country’s citizenship law is gaining momentum, with critics saying it will result in up to 2 million migrants receiving citizenship overnight and radically reduce the value of the German passport.
The far-left government will begin next week with a departmental vote based on a draft from the Federal Ministry of the Interior by Nancy Faeser (SPD). Faeser has been a key proponent of mass immigration.
However, both the Alternative for Germany (AfD) and the Christian Democratic Union (CDU) remain opposed to the plan, with the CDU warning of a “180-degree turnaround” on citizenship law.
According to the draft, immigrants will generally be able to obtain a German passport after only five years instead of the current eight, and after only three years (currently six) in the case of special skills such as language acquisition or voluntary work. However, the draft also outlines how a lack of language skills will be less of an obstacle to naturalization. There will additionally be several broad exceptions for “hardship” and for immigrants over 67 years of age, with the latter being exempted from written naturalization and language tests.
The plan comes at a time when a large majority of Germans remain opposed to mass immigration, according to polling. Over 1.2 million migrants arrived in Germany just in 2022, which led to a massive burden on housing, social services, and education. In addition, polls show a massive collapse in support for Germany’s current left-wing government coalition, with the government seeing record-low approval.
The mass violence seen across the country during New Year’s Eve, which involved migrants who attacked police, rescue services, and firefighters, has also shocked the country.
A new pool of left-wing voters? Many of those same migrants who were arrested for New Year’s Eve violence would soon become citizens under the new German law; this would help the left-wing government by hiding the fact that so many of the individuals responsible for crime in Germany have a foreign background. Simply put, those arrested during New Year’s Eve and for many other crimes would then be “German” citizens, and determining where they came from would be immensely more difficult. This would be a setback for skeptics of immigration who point to the poor record of integration and high crime levels seen in Germany’s migrant communities.
Perhaps even more important for the left is the fact that millions of foreigners, many of them sympathetic to left-wing parties, could soon be citizens who can vote in elections. With the government facing falling approval rates and a difficult economic environment, turning foreigners into German citizens may be the only way to lift their political fortunes.
The opposition CDU/CSU, meanwhile, opposes the reform. Its parliamentary manager, Thorsten Frei (CDU), told Die Welt: “We only know the plans of the traffic light government from the press. What I read about it sounds like a 180-degree turn in citizenship law.”
Germany is very attractive to people from abroad who would like to live and work here, he said; this is generally positive, and the country needs immigration in the labor market.
“The plans of the traffic light (coalition) seem to me like a devaluation of German citizenship. The SPD and the Greens are on the wrong track here. The government plans are the opposite of what we want. We want people to integrate here and become part of our society. The SPD and the Greens want quasi-naturalization without integration efforts,” Frei said.
He said he is “very curious” how the FDP will now behave. “My fear is that the FDP will cave and open the doors for a policy in which we as a country can have no interest.”
Stephan Thomae, parliamentary director of the FDP parliamentary group, told Die Welt: “Germany’s economic strength and prosperity also depend on whether we succeed in selectively steering foreign workers into the German labor market. Therefore, in addition to an immigration law with a points system, we want to make it possible for foreign people who meet certain requirements and want to become a permanent part of our society to obtain German citizenship more quickly. Because if someone has integrated well, that’s a success that we want to reward and also helps make Germany more attractive to foreign workers.”
I’ve often heard of coincidences, but I’ve never seen one. Instead I saw that a few weeks ago the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg convicted the French journalist Eric Zemmour of insulting Islam. Zemmour goes around with a larger escort than many French ministers. And now I see that French Muslims are taking Michel Houellebecq to court for his critical sentences of Islam. These political trials on Islam began in 2002, when a Paris court examined a complaint against Houellebecq, who in his novel “Platform” had defined Islam as “the stupidest religion”. The writer Fernando Arrabal, arrested in 1967 in Francoist Spain, was called by Houellebecq to testify in court. “What a joy to be a witness in a trial for crimes of opinion,” Arrabal said in court in Paris. “Zaragoza, Valladolid, Santander”, the playwright lists a series of Spanish cities. “This is the list of prisons I’ve been to for doing the same thing as Houellebecq.”
Oriana Fallaci also ended up on trial that year for her book “Rage and Pride”. And who was there among the civil parties? The Great Mosque of Paris. The leftist newspaper Libération called her “the woman who defames Islam”. When she died in 2007, Oriana Fallaci was still on trial in Bergamo, Italy.
Do we know another subject whose criticism in Europe involves the risk (if not life) of a trial? This offensive achieved an acceleration when the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (the body representing Islamic countries around the world) opened an office in the European Parliament!
Since 2014, the Council of Europe has organized the “European Day against Islamophobia”.
After the Second World War and the horrors of Nazism and Stalinism, a fundamental principle of Western democracies was that people could be put on trial, but not ideas and opinions. Europe is today allowing dangerous Islamist and “human rights” groups to restrict the boundaries of our freedom of expression, exactly as in the Soviet show trials.
It getting to be quite a long list of critics of Islam, journalists, writers and intellectuals across Europe today who are being told to raise their right hand before a judge and swear to tell the truth, nothing but the truth. A disturbing, but very common sight, in which “incitement to hatred” has become a political weapon to be directed against those who disagree with submission.
On January 8, Mumbai Police arrested 22-year-old Dawood Ibrahim Mohammad Yakub Ansari for allegedly vandalising crosses at Mahim’s St Michael’s Church cemetery. The incident took place in the early morning of January 7.
At least 18 tombstones, crosses and other structures at the 400-year-old Church were vandalised. Ansari was tracked using CCTV footage of the cemetery. Reportedly, after desecrating the crosses, the culprit sat down and prayed. The police are trying to verify the motive of his actions. Ansari was produced in front of a local court and remanded in police custody.
Ansari is a resident of Kalamboli and works at a shop for his uncle in Navi Mumbai. He came to Mahim using the local train and reached the station at around 6 AM. Reportedly, the watchman spotted him and thought he was there to steal the marble. He clicked his photograph and shooed him away. Later, when he checked the graveyard, the watchman noticed several tombstones, crosses and other structures were damaged.
Deputy Commissioner (Zone V) Manoj Patil said in a statement that it is unclear why he vandalised the crosses so far. He said, “We arrested Ansari from Kalamboli, involved in vandalising crosses at the cemetery. He works with his uncle, who has a mattress shop in Navi Mumbai. So far, there is no clarity on the reason behind his acts.” Indian Express quoted sources saying that Ansari might be “mentally unstable” and no prior record was found in his name.
Hindustan Times quoted an unnamed police officer saying that a week ago, Ansari allegedly went to a mosque and started jumping around. Calling it “unusual” behaviour, the officer added that the people threw him out of the mosque.
DCP Patil added, “This is a serious matter involving a religious angle, therefore, the motive behind the incident will be investigated thoroughly, after which it will be revealed to the media.” He said the case had been registered against Ansari under several sections, including 295A of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). The Police are also looking if Ansari acted alone or if more people were involved.
The incident at St Michael’s Church
As per Father Lancy Pinto, parish priest of St Michael’s Church, the incident took place at around 5 AM. Later the watchman noticed it. “There was Mass in the morning, so I came to know of the incident around 8.30 AM. Soon the police were informed.” The Church was established around 400 years ago, with the cemetery behind it. Father Pinto said Ansari was seen kneeling in the Church and praying after vandalising the crosses in the cemetery.
Hindus were blamed for the vandalism
While the police initiated the investigation and looked for the culprit, the liberal section of the social media platforms started blaming Hindus and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for the vandalism.
Mr Gandhi, a Twitter user, said, “The BJP has begun their “Game” in Maharashtra. Crosses, Graves Vandalised at St Michael’s Church in Mumbai’s Mahim.”
Anti-Hindu propaganda Twitter handles Hindutva Watch said, “An unknown miscreant vandalised 18 crosses put atop the graves at a cemetery attached to St. Michael’s Church.” The Twitter handle specifically spread misinformation against Hindus and did not publish any update about the name of the culprit by the time this report was published.
Twitter user Chumba Wumba without directly blaming Hindus for the vandalism, said, “This is state-sanctioned terrorism. If this country is to be saved from becoming a failed state, all citizens, including right-minded Hindus, must join hands and uproot this regime of cowards from power once and for all.”
Congress’s Netta D’Souza blamed BJP and RSS for the increasing “hate” in the country. She published the photograph of the culprit as well. However, she cunningly avoided naming the culprit.
The “Mentally Unstable” miscreants who went on a rampage in the past
This is not the first time a “mentally unstable” person has vandalised a place of worship. On October 3, 2022, Jammu and Kashmir DGP (Prisons) Hemant Kumar Lohia was found dead under mysterious circumstances with a throat slit and burned marks on his body. Terror group People’s Anti-Fascist Force (PAFF), an offshoot of Pakistan-headquartered terrorist organisation Lashkar-e-Taiba, has claimed responsibility for the murder. Prima facie, it had appeared to be a case of murder, and his domestic help Yasir Lohar was believed to be the primary suspect. Multiple media houses reported about the arrest but did not fail to mention how Yasir, who brutally killed the police officer, was ‘mentally unstable.’ The reports extensively spoke about a so-called personal diary of the accused and claimed he had mental health issues.
A week before, two Muslim women were detained for reportedly vandalising the idol of goddess Durga at a Navratri pandal in Hyderabad. The women barged into a pandal in the city’s Khairatabad locality and smashed a portion of the Durga statue, according to Hyderabad Police. When a local tried to stop them, one of the ladies attacked him with a metallic tool. Prior to this, the women had also vandalised a statue of Mother Mary outside a nearby church. Many news outlets covered the incident, although some, understandably, focused on how the two women were “mentally disturbed”. Media houses like Deccan Chronicle and TOI focused on how the accused’s brother Asimduddin claimed that his mother and sister were schizophrenic.
On the night of September 27, a man identified as Rameez Ahmed broke into the Bhagwan Hanuman temple in the Hindpuri Police Station area of Ranchi, Jharkhand, and vandalised the idol there. The police subsequently arrested Ahmed. Notably, the police had claimed that Ahmed was mentally unstable. The locals are reportedly not satisfied with the reasoning provided by the police.
Ahmed Murtaza Abbasi, on April 3 2022, screamed Allahu Akbar and tried to enter the Gorakhnath Temple. Wielding a knife that he intended to use, Abbasi injured two cops in the tussle that followed. Several revelations came to the fore after he was apprehended, and an investigation was launched. The most important revelation was that Abbasi had taken an oath of allegiance to ISIS. The mainstream media again did its best to allege that Abbasi was actually not a terrorist but merely mentally unstable. His father asserted the same rather vehemently. Later, a doctor confirmed that Abbasi was mentally fit, and there was no sign that he was unstable.
In 2018, a case of idol vandalism in a Hindu temple was reported from the Shahganj region of Agra in Uttar Pradesh. It was reported that the accused had vandalised a Hanuman and Durga idol to instigate communal tensions. The devotees then caught hold of the individual reportedly trying to flee the temple premises, who, when questioned, identified himself as Sonu Khan. As per a tweet by ANI, the accused was assaulted by the locals after being tied to a tree, following which he was handed over to the police. The news agency claimed that the accused was “mentally challenged”.
A Senegalese national has been arrested in France on suspicion of attempted homicide after stabbing the manager of a bar in the throat; the manager had asked him to leave the establishment.
The incident occurred on Friday at approximately 5 p.m. at the Aux Deux Gares brasserie bar in Juvisy-sur-Orge, Essonne.
An eyewitness told Le Parisien newspaper how an argument had broken out between the accused, who was visibly drunk, and the bar manager, who had asked him to leave.
“At the entrance to the bar, I realized that there was a fight between the boss and a customer. It was obvious that (the accused) was not sober, but I had the impression that they knew each other. I heard the manager shouting: ‘You wanted to fuck me, you’re leaving my bar,’ and he pushed him out,” the eyewitness told the French newspaper.
“That’s when the other brandished a knife, not a very small one. I don’t even know how he got around with it. He went for the throat. There was blood everywhere. I was in shock,” the eyewitness added.
The 37-year-old Senegalese national was arrested at the scene by French police and remains in custody. According to French media, the suspect is legally residing in France. He is, however, already known to police.
Upon his arrest, authorities recovered a butterfly knife, which is believed to have been used in the attack.
The victim was taken to the hospital and is understood to be recovering. “He’s out of the woods,” revealed the local mayor, Lamia Bensarsa Reda.
The Evry prosecutor’s office announced that an investigation for attempted homicide was opened and is ongoing.
Yet another case of grooming jihad, rape and attempted forced conversion to Islam, by multiple members of the same Muslim family, has been reported. On December 29, UP Police arrested gym owner Intezar (30), his father Abbas Ali (52) and brother Suhail (24) for raping a woman and attempting to forcibly convert her to Islam in Noida, Gautam Buddh Nagar district.
The woman met Intezar at a local gym in Noida, which comes under Delhi-NCR. He hid his religion and identified himself as ‘Sonu’. After developing familiarity with her, Intezar aka Sonu drugged her juice and raped her. To stop her from reporting the crime, he promised to marry her and also employed her at a gym he owned.
By chance, the woman overheard a telephone conversation and discovered Intezar’s real name and identity. When she confronted him, he physically assaulted her. Later, Intezar’s father and younger brother also joined in intimidating her and trying to forcibly convert her religion to Islam.
The accused Islamists have been charged under IPC sections 376 (rape), 323 (causing hurt), 328 (intentionally drugging or poisoning someone), 342 (wrongful confinement), 506 (criminal intimidation), and 120B (criminal conspiracy) along with provisions of the Uttar Pradesh Prohibition of Unlawful Conversion of Religion Act.
Marxist dictator Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva of Brazil, who was convicted of accepting bribes in Operation Car Wash, declared a state of emergency over pro-democracy protests against a stolen election.
Ever since the fraudulent election theft used to topple Brazil’s legitimately elected president Jair Bolsonaro, pro-democracy protests have continued, especially in rural areas.
After declaring a state of emergency, Lula has vowed to extend his crackdown on the pro-democracy protests to punish an assortment of political opponents.
Lula falsely claimed that there was “no precedent in the history of our country” for such riots. He appears to have forgotten that he built his career on protests, posturing as a martyr after being briefly locked up over those strikes.
The riots in the late 70s were far more violent than the pro-democracy protests that led to Lula declaring his state of emergency.
And for that matter, the more recent 2017 riots involving activists with Lula’s Workers’ Party were a good deal more violent.
Biden, predictably, came out in support of the Marxist dictator, calling the pro-democracy protests, an “assault on democracy” and declared that, “Brazil’s democratic institutions have our full support and the will of the Brazilian people must not be undermined.”
A foreign leader intervening in Brazil’s politics is the opposite of democracy. But leftists stick together.
On Sunday, January 1, 2023 in Dangri village, located near the Rajouri district in Jammu & Kashmir, two heavily armed jihad terrorists arrived in a car, stormed into homes, and opened fire at residents. The incident took place between 6 to 7 pm. The area is known to be under the constant threat of Pakistan-sponsored terrorism. Around ten victims have sustained severe injuries, while hospital authorities declared three people dead on arrival; the count climbed to four when another victim succumbed to injuries a few hours later.
What we will report next should serve as an eye-opener for those who still believe in the tired saying that “terrorism has no religion.” As per eyewitnesses, these gunmen checked the Aadhaar Cards (that is, the Indian national identification cards) of the civilians, confirmed their identities as Hindus, and opened fire after ensuring that their bullets wouldn’t be targeting Muslims. The deceased Hindus have been identified as Deepak Kumar (23), Shishuji Pal (32), Satish Kumar (45), and Pritam Lal (56).
“Militants have executed a cowardly attack. Six of our people are injured. Two are in critical condition. From the administration, the police have not yet reached the location. What expectations should we have from the authorities? We don’t know whom we should rely on,” lamented one eyewitness who was present in the hospital.
A second witness recounted, “At about 7 pm, terrorists opened fire at one of the houses, after which they came down and killed a boy who was parking his vehicle and was on his way home. Subsequently,” the witness pointed to a lady, “they moved towards her house and killed her husband after checking his Aadhaar card, which was lying along with the dead body in the house. They moved on towards a house further 200 meters down the street, where they killed more people.”
Another local recounted that a few people arrived at about 6 to 6.30 pm and carried out the targeted killings in three houses. “The incident happened at about 6-6.30 pm, I stay in the same place” where the incident took place. “Some people came. They did target killing at one house, then they went to the second house, and further on a targeted killing was done in the third house. This is a conspiracy so that people flee from this place,” he explained.
Some locals have also remarked that the Muslim attackers were wearing masks. Their first target was a house in Upper Dangri; they barged in and shot randomly at several people. They then moved about 25 meters away and opened fire at two other adjacent homes, injured two civilians, and fled.
Commenting on the ghastly attack on the Hindu community in Rajouri, an official noted that the firing ended within ten minutes. The security forces have heightened the scope of cordon-and-search operations in order to track down the suspected terrorists in the region. Additional troops have been called up, drones have been brought in, and sniffer dogs have been deployed to hunt down the jihad terrorists who executed the Sunday attack. Ravinder Raina, the BJP Chief for J&K, asserted, “Pakistan’s coward terrorists have done a sin. The murderers of Dhangri will be neutralized.”
This attack targeting the Hindus is one of the many similar recent attacks. While the popular notion is that the Muslims in this region are victims of fascism perpetrated by the authorities, the truth, as evident, is far from what is being cunningly propagated about the region’s dynamics.
The attack has also led to widespread panic in the village. Several Hindu associations have called for a strike in Rajouri on Monday and Tuesday in order to protest the killings of innocent Hindus. On Monday, people gathered outside GMC hospital Rajouri and chanted slogans against Pakistan and terrorism. But to imagine that such peaceful sloganeering would be able to counter terrorism is wishful thinking. This was proven when a child lost his life and another child, along with three women, was severely injured in a powerful explosion on Monday, January 2. The blast occurred at one of the houses attacked by Muslims in Upper Dangri the previous evening. While it has not been confirmed if this explosive was a grenade or an Improvised Explosive Device (IED), sources speculate that the jihaadis had planted it in the house in order to cause more damage and casualties. An additional Director General of Police in Jammu has confirmed the child’s death and reported that the other child is also in critical condition.
