Swiss national referendum will limit population to 10 million through strict immigration control to save environment
The most popular party in Switzerland, the Swiss People’s Part (SVP), known for its agrarian roots and opposition to mass immigration, is set to pursue a referendum calling for the renegotiation of international treaties, or even theircomplete abandonment, if the Swiss population hits 10 million.
The proposed referendum comes at a time when Europe increasingly faces environmental catastrophe, a housing crisis, and huge strains on public resources due to soaring immigration levels. Many European nations are among the most densely populated nations in the world and life in them is only expected to become more crowded in the near future unless dramatic action is taken. Switzerland is no exception.
“Our country is cracking in every corner. We are going through the debacles of recent years. If we don’t intervene, we will be overtaken by events,” said Marcel Dettling, the SVP’s campaign manager.
Dettling warns that economic migration remains high, especially from groups known for their difficulty integrating into Switzerland, a fact highlighted by Switzerland’s alarming prison population data.
“Today, there is very strong economic migration,” says Dettling. “Whoever has set foot in Switzerland will never leave the country. Migrants from Africa have welfare rates of 34 percent.”
Dettling’s party is meeting on Jan. 6 and 7 in Thurgau, near the shores of Lake Constance, and the main topic of discussion is expected to be immigration, with the new referendum featuring the working title “initiative for sustainability.”
Explosive population growth
The text for the referendum has also already been completed and would stipulate that Switzerland’s population should not exceed 10 million until 2050. After 2050, this limit could be slightly increased but only due to organic, surplus births.
SVP National Councilor Thomas Matter says he must sound a “red alert” over Switzerland’s rising population, adding that “this is the last moment when we can still change something for Switzerland.”
“The migration figures are hair-raising,” he said. “In 2022, Switzerland will have 200,000 more inhabitants, the population of the canton of Basel-City.”
There is also the threat that a conflict between Serbia and Kosovo would only ramp up the refugee numbers Switzerland is facing.
The country is already rapidly approaching 9 million residents. In 2022, 145,958 people arrived, raising the population to 8.89 million. It. is now only a matter of time until the population hits 9 million.
Over the past 20 years, Switzerland’s population has increased by 21 percent.
“If Switzerland grows so strongly again over the next 20 years, everything will collapse,” said Matter, who serves as a national councilor. According to him, the country’s financial reserves for education, health and transport are exhausted.
“It is urgent to leave the model of quantitative growth for qualitative growth.”
Details of the referendum text
Just like the country’s debt brake, the referendum would serve as a brake on immigration. The text stipulates that if certain population limits are reached, the government must take certain steps to inhibit population growth. For example, if Switzerland’s population reaches 9.5 million, the Swiss Federal Council will have to take steps with new laws to counteract this growth.
However, if the country reaches 10 million, the government must respond with “rigorous measures,” including the Federal Council abandoning international agreements, such as the UN migration pacts or EU treaties relating to free movement.
It is important to note that Switzerland has featured a number of referendums on the topic of immigration in the past, including the famous 2014 referendum “against mass immigration,” which won with 50.3 percent of the vote. The SVP-backed referendum was designed to place strict quotas on immigration, but despite winning the vote, the referendum was more or less made toothless by the Swiss parliament.
Switzerland was threatened by the EU over any attempt to restrict free movement, with the EU warning Switzerland that any abandonment of free movement would have meant that all EU agreements became null and void, which would have presented severe economic consequences for the country.
The SVP harshly criticized the final agreement, which failed to implement immigration quotas but instead offered moderate improvements regarding job market conditions for the Swiss. The SVP called it “a betrayal of voters’ wishes” and unconstitutional, while the EU commission celebrated the “hugely watered-down version of the initiative.“
The SVP, this time around, will include language in the referendum that outright calls for Switzerland to ignore these international agreements, but Swiss business interests and the country’s left-liberal bloc are likely to put up a serious fight should the referendum win.
SPV argues that immigration does not equal endless growth
The current Western model promotes the idea of endless GDP growth through mass immigration. More immigrants equal more consumers, more housing construction springing up across the countryside, and more Third World peoples adopting a First World lifestyle.
Left-liberal and Green parties across the Western world have simultaneously called for Europeans to have fewer children to save the environment, while promoting mass immigration from Middle Eastern, African, and Asian countries, with these newcomers known for their notoriously high birth rates. At the same time, countries like Switzerland, Germany, and the United Kingdom are breaking population records due to immigration, leading to a severe strain on the environment and social welfare models within these European nations — a development that has been rejected by only a handful of nations such as Denmark and Hungary.
The right, if it wants to survive, may have to tie environmental causes and climate change, which the youth of Europe overwhelmingly believe is occurring, to soaring population growth through immigration. The Swiss referendum may be a nod to a growing reality. Any referendum that calls for immigration restriction is likely to fail given the growing pro-migration youth vote, but if it can be tied to green causes, such a referendum may have a chance.
Futhermore, the SVP argues that this endless population growth model is not only unsustainable, but actually will not result in the desired outcome of endless economic growth.
SVP National Councilor Manuel Strupler states that purely “quantitative” immigration does not guarantee higher per capita growth. Furthermore, this type of immigration “dilutes” the values of Switzerland.
“At some point, someone will have to pay the costs of our current policy. We have a duty to the next generation to preserve the values that have made Switzerland successful”
Thomas Matter argues that population growth has actually reached the point of harming economic growth and will help push the country into recession. He says that while the population will increase by 2.5 percent in 2022, per capita income will only rise by 2 percent:
“They want us to believe that immigration rhymes with growth. But in reality, we are heading towards a recession,” he said.
He notes that France and Germany have closed their borders to illegal immigration from Switzerland, with Switzerland increasingly seen as a transit country. He warns that “a disaster is brewing.”
Top German general calls for an end to Ukraine war
The longtime military policy advisor to NATO, Helmut W. Ganser sees the chance of an early end to the war in winter, especially for military reasons. With this, Ganser explicitly contradicted NATO Secretary General Stoltenberg, who has spoken out against peace negotiations.
Ganser is a retired brigadier general and was, among other things, deputy head of the military policy department in the Federal Ministry of Defense and military policy advisor to the German Permanent Representative to NATO. Born in 1948, he worked in the command staff of the German armed forces from 1992.
He argued for a cessation of hostilities: “Military-political reason speaks for an early end to this costly war”. A victory for Kiev is unrealistic, he said After Moscow’s initial failures in Ukraine, some observers “overreacted” and overestimated Ukraine’s chances of victory.
Militarily, there is currently a stalemate situation, while at the same time the ammunition consumption on both sides is exceptionally high.
The West has reached its limits in this war since their ammunition depots are being depleted. This applies in particular to Germany. Ganser was quoted in the German ipg-journal for international politics.
Counter-offensives by Kiev only result in losses and are unsuccessful
Russia currently occupies well under 20 percent of Ukraine’s territory. After considerable losses of terrain and the retreat to the east bank of the Dnieper, the Russian army “substantially shortened and consolidated the front”.
“Attempts at further extensive counter-offensives by Kiev […] are likely not only to result in extremely heavy losses, but will also be to no avail,” according to Ganser.
He added that the wide Dnieper river posed “a significant barrier to possible counter-attack operations by Ukrainian forces in the southern part of the front”.
High ammo consumption
At the moment there is a stalemate situation, but there is a risk of a longer war of attrition and position, with occasional thrusts and counter-thrusts. At the same time, the consumption of ammunition on both sides is unusually high. The West is also reaching its limits here, Ganser warned.
“The western side can no longer intervene in the blocked stocks of the ammunition depots of their armed forces and deliver unlimited supplies. […] Ammunition supplies for the M777 howitzers and the long-range HIMARS rocket launchers are also reaching their limits in the US,” said the psychologist and political scientist.
Be sure to take fears of nuclear escalation seriously
The danger of a nuclear escalation also speaks in favor of peace negotiations. Although this is not desired by either side, the risk still exists. “One cannot yet speak of nuclear detente,” he underscored. US President Joe Biden had also warned of a nuclear war and has used the term “Armageddon”.
Peace talks should therefore take place as soon as possible, albeit behind closed doors. “To present warnings of a nuclear escalation as exaggerated fears is irresponsible,” Ganser said.
The solution to this lies with Moscow and Washington, the two actual players. Without Western support, Kiev would have lost the war long ago. “On the geopolitical level, this is a Russian-American conflict.”
The war is very costly for Ukraine
The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff at the Pentagon, General Mark Milley, has also made a similar statement: Russia and Ukraine must mutually recognize “that a military victory is not achievable and that the winter months should be used for negotiations”.
But there are many critics of this proposal, which Ganser contradicted. “The argument that is heard again and again that the West must bring the Russian military to its knees with the help of Ukraine, because otherwise Putin will be the next to attack the NATO East Europeans, is simply a weak analysis.” After this war of attrition, Russia will first have to deal with military reform. In addition, NATO is building up forces on its eastern flank.
“The widespread counter-argument, including from NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, that Moscow is only interested in an operational pause in order to attack again in the spring, may be correct. But even the Ukrainian army, with Western help, would use a ceasefire to bolster its defensive and counterattack capabilities.”

The Granada massacre of 1066: When a Muslim mob crucified a Rabbi and murdered almost the entire Jewish population in a city
The Spanish city of Granada, which forms the backdrop of the popular Korean drama ‘Memories of Alhambra’ has seen a bloody, violent history, with many conflicts over the centuries between religious groups. On 30 December 1066, the city witnessed a horrible massacre targeted against the Jewish community carried out by the city’s ruling Muslims.
The Muslim rule in Spain and the Jewish massacre
The city of Granada, located in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains at the confluence of 4 rivers, has been the major urban settlement and capital of the Andalusian region of Spain for over a thousand years. Starting in 711 AD, the Muslim Umayyad conquest of the Iberian peninsula. A small Jewish population has been living in the area since ancient times.
In the 11th century, Granada became the hotspot of a political conflict between two groups of Muslims, the North African Arabs and Berber communities. The Zirids, a Berber group who were the supporters of the Caliph of Cordoba settled in the area and were granted control of the province of Elvira. After the Caliphate collapsed in 1009, the Zirid leader established an independent kingdom for himself, calling it ‘Taifa of Granada’. The city, with a mixed population of Muslims, Christians and Jews, gradually grew to be the main urban settlement in the area.
In 1020, Samuel ha-Nagid, a highly educated Jewish leader who had fled Cordoba after the caliphate collapsed, was appointed as the chief secretary of Muslim king Habbus ibn Maksan. Samuel ha-Nagid (Ismail ibn Naghrela in Arabic), was given many responsibilities, including tax collection and even control over the army under the next king Baddis. While Samuel was in power, the Jewish population in Granada enjoyed religious freedom and were not looked at as second-class citizens (dhimmis, non-Muslims living under Muslim rule) as per the norm in typical Muslim caliphates. Samuel had such power that the Muslim king was looked at as a mere figurehead.
After Samuel ha Nagid’s death in 1056, his son Joseph ha-Nagid (Joseph ibn Naghrela in Arabic) succeeded him as the vizier and rabbi, getting the same proximity to the Muslim king Baddis.
Joseph was lynched by a Muslim mob over allegations of betrayal
As Joseph’s influence over king Baddis grew, resentment against him started stirring among the majority of Berber Muslims in Granada. Joseph was described as arrogant and disrespectful towards all faiths. Joseph was accused of sending letters to the Muslim ruler of neighbouring Taifa of Almeira, rivals of Granada. As per Arabic accounts, Joseph had made a deal, to open the gates of the city to the enemies in exchange for being installed as the new ruler himself. However, the plan did not succeed. The ruler of the Taifa of Almeira dropped the plans at the last moment and the news leaked that Joseph had planned to kill the king and support the enemies.
On December 30, 1066, an angry mob consisting of the majority Berber Muslims of the city stormed the royal palace and grabbed Joseph. He was tortured and lynched to death, and his body was hanged from a cross. The mob, however, did not stop there. They proceeded to round up all Jewish families in the city, about 1000 of them and started a brutal massacre. Contemporary Jewish accounts write that over 4000 Jewish people were brutally killed by the Muslims on that single day.
There is documented evidence of the prominent Muslims in Granada spewing venom against Joseph and the Jewish community in general, trying to convince the people that the Jewish people do not deserve the high status that was granted to them in Granada. A poem written by Abu Ishaq, documented by historian Bernard Lewis depicts how the Jews are ‘inferior’ to the Muslims and should be killed.
“Do not consider it a breach of faith to kill them, a breach of faith will be to let them carry on. They have violated our covenant with them, so how can you be held guilty against the violators? how can they have any pact when we are obscure and they are prominent? Now we are humble, beside them, as if we were wrong and they were right.“
The first major act of violence targeted against the Jewish community in Europe
The 1066 massacre at Granada is often cited as the first major act of violence in Europe that was targeted against the entire Jewish community.
As per Jewish accounts, Joseph’s wife had managed to flee the city with her son. She was granted refuge in another city. However, her son died at a young age.
The surviving Jews fled the area after the massacre, selling their properties. Though some of them did return eventually, they never got the social status they once enjoyed under Samuel ha-Nagid.
The Muslim rule in Granada continued till 1492, when, after months of siege by a Catholic army under Ferdinand and Isabella of Spain, the Muslim ruler of Granada finally gave up and surrendered the castle. January 2, 1492, marked the finale of the Catholic Reconquista against Islamic rule in parts of Spain. It is still celebrated by the Christian community and mourned in the Muslim world. What followed in the city was another story of violence, when Isabella’s loyal Catholic hardliners ordered the Muslim population to either convert, flee or die.
India: Muslim kills wife by electric shock & buries body in bedroom, she had eloped & done conversion to Islam with him
In a spine-chilling case, Wasi Ahmed is accused of murdering his wife Uma Sharma alias Arfa Fatima. The police recovered the victim’s body on December 24 from her bedroom in Uttar Pradesh’s Lakhimpur Kheri District.
Swarajya Mag report on the matter notes:
Her husband Wasi Ahmed killed her by giving her an electric shock on 22 December, police said.
A press note shared from the police’s Twitter account said that a case was registered at Gola Police Station of Kheri in the murder (FIR number 850/2022).
The main accused Wasi Ahmed, along with his brother Rafi, were arrested on 25 December. They have been booked under IPC sections 302 (murder) and 201 (causing the disappearance of evidence)…
…Local news reports said that Uma had eloped and married Ahmed after her conversion to Islam, and was renamed Arfa Fatima.
A report by Amar Ujala said that the two used to be neighbours. After Uma left her family, Ahmed shifted to another locality. He lived with his mother Ashiya and brother Rafi. His father passed away several years ago.
The report quotes Ashiya as saying that Ahmed confided in her that he had killed Fatima in a fit of rage after she threatened to go to the police against him. Ashiya then approached the police herself on 23 December.
She told another newspaper that Fatima and Ahmed would constantly fight. However, the reports do not say what they fought about. They have children, both sons, named Haider and Humayun.
This case is a stark reminder of the murder of a Hindu woman and her daughter in Meerut in July 2020. Hindu lady Priya and her daughter were murdered by accused Mohammad Shamshad who introduced himself to her by name of Amit Gurjar on Facebook. After befriending her and getting into a relationship with her, he murdered the woman & her daughter Kashish and buried their bodies in his drawing room.

You’re not imagining that hard leftists are ugly and unpleasant

There’s a new Substack site in town and, if a recent post about leftists’ biological underpinnings is anything to go by, this site will go far. The writer at Biopolitics has assembled all sorts of information about the mental and biological traits of being on the left and right sides of the political spectrum and reached an over-arching conclusion: Leftists are physically ugly and mentally unpleasant, although it remains unclear whether their biology makes them leftists or their politics affect their biology.
Biopolitics describes itself as a site that will have “a series of concise…articles, based on scientific studies and empirical evidence.” All of it is directed at telling normal people that, as they watch the world go mad, they’re not crazy—the world is, and the science proves it.
So far, the site has only one post, but it’s a humdinger. “The Leftist Personality: Left-Wing ideology as a biological phenomenon” catches your eye instantly with the header image: a montage of mug shots from the 2020 riots. Admittedly, mug shots seldom do people any favors, but this collection of dyed, shaved, and tattooed people—with the men sporting the faded remnants of make-up and the women, to be blunt, being coyote ugly—really does tell a story about what kind of people take to the streets for leftist protests.
That’s empirical evidence, though. The site is also loaded with footnotes linking to the type of studies that keep showing up in the media comparing leftists and conservatives.
The writer starts with something interesting: “AI facial recognition can accurately predict a person’s political alignment 72% of the time, outperforming chance (50%) and human estimation (55%) (footnote omitted).” From there, we learn that you’re not imagining that more attractive people are conservative, while men who are more manly are also conservative. There’s a quick summary: “Leftists are shorter and uglier, and Leftist men are weaker, less masculine, and less capable of fighting — characteristics that are not conducive to success in any human civilization” (footnote omitted).
At this point in the essay, there’s another wonderful photo montage, this one showing vulgar, sexually weird, exhibitionistic leftists contrasted with strong, wholesome, productive conservatives. Talk about a picture being worth 1,000 words.
It’s not just looks that give leftists away. Their psychology is also different from conservatives. One of the things I remember reading about years ago is that leftists don’t react much to things that ordinary people find disgusting. This probably goes a long way to explaining the leftist obsession with fecal matter. Leftists know that normal people are disgusted by poop, so leftists revel in it and use it against the normals.
According to the Biopolitics writer, the leftist habit of victimhood signaling (we’re talking to you, Joe Biden) has some pretty nasty traits behind it:
The stereotypically Left-Wing behavior of “victimhood signaling” correlates with personality traits such as narcissism, psychopathy, and Machiavellianism (amoral manipulation). Turkish ‘Progress’: Six-Year-Old Girl Married by Her Sheik Father
No doubt, Turkey is more secular and modern than Afghanistan and Iran. But that is not good enough news for Turkish girls and women.
A total of 327 women were murdered by their husbands, ex-husbands, fiancés and partners, between January 1 and November 11, 2022, according to the Turkish Federation of Women’s Association. The Islamist government of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan should be proud.
Although they are now “ex-allies,” Erdogan, when he was the prime minister of Turkey in 2007, elected as president his long-time, staunchest ally at the time, Abdullah Gul, a fellow Islamist. Gul reportedly married his wife, Hayrunnisa, when he was 30 years old and she was 14.
The marriage of underage girls and women is part of Islamist culture, including in Turkey.
In March 2021, under pressure from pious Muslims, Erdogan announced that Turkey was pulling out of the “Council of Europe Convention on preventing and combating violence against women and domestic violence,” effective July 1, 2021. The accord is better known as the Istanbul Convention after Turkey’s biggest city where, in 2011, it received signatures, including Erdogan’s.
“Turkey’s decision to ditch a landmark international treaty to tackle violence against women and girls, could significantly set back efforts to tackle the problem,” said Reem Alsalem, a senior UN-appointed independent rights expert.
Officially, around one out of four women in Turkey has suffered physical or sexual abuse from their partners, according to latest available government data from a 2014 survey, said Alsalem in a statement. There are also likely “hundreds of femicides” every year, she added, pointing to serious underreporting of the issue, owing to a lack of confidence in protection mechanisms, widespread impunity and gender-related bias and discrimination.
This is the gloomy background in a country where women won the right to vote in national elections in 1934, ten years before French women. In 1935, 18 women became Turkish MPs, or 4.6% of the parliament.
That was secular Turkey.
Today, in Turkey, the driving force is political Islam. On November 25, protestors gathered in several provinces to commemorate the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. They were met with a heavy police presence and violent crackdown. Several women were detained in the protests, including 20 journalists. “We are not allowed to leave the [police] blockade,” journalist Sultan Eylem Keleş wrote in a tweet.

It is only the tip of the iceberg. As Erdogan’s political Islam has poisoned the uneducated masses’ freedom over the past two decades, families have turned “medieval” in their social life. The prominent Turkish columnist Yilmaz Ozdil compiled a list of crimes committed in Erdogan’s Turkey in just the past few years:
- An 11-year-old girl, who had been married by an imam, gave birth: Bolu province.
- A 12-year-old girl gave birth under a fake ID that showed her age as 18: Gaziantep province.
- A 12-year-old girl gave birth: Izmir province.
- A girl named Kader, or “fate in English.” She did not have good fate. She was forcibly married at 12, became a mother at 13 and committed suicide at 14: Siirt province.
- A girl was married, at 13, to a 40-year-old man. She ran away after severe violence from the husband. Her family rejected her. At 17 she, with her three children, had no place to live: Ordu province.
- A 15-year-old girl was forcibly married. She took refuge at a police station: Sakarya province.
- A notary public was caught endorsing the illegal marriage of a 14-year-old girl: Tekirdag province.
- A 12-year-old girl, who was forcibly married, appeared to be four months pregnant: Tokat province:
- A 16-year-old girl who had been married off by her family committed suicide by throwing herself under the train: Adana province.
- A 16-year-old married girl jumped from the seventh floor of a building: Konya province.
- There was a case of a girl of 14 being forcibly married to a man of 70, father of five and grandfather of nine.
- The Kanuni Sultan Suleyman Hospital in Istanbul reported to have received 115 pregnant girls under 15 in just five months. The hospital said it admits 500 pregnant girls in one year.
Before Erdogan came to power, civil marriage was compulsory in Turkey, and conducting a religious marriage before the civil one was punishable by a prison sentence. Under Erdogan, Turkish courts legalized religious marriages and reduced the legal age of consent for sex to 12 years of age.
Against this backdrop, even Turkey was shocked at news that a prominent Islamic sheik, the leader of a religious order fiercely devoted to Erdogan, had married off his six-year-old daughter to a 29-year-old disciple. Six! The girl had been forced into sex and became a mother at 14. She complained to the prosecutor’s office, but Erdogan’s authorities apparently did not want to bother the sheik. As she became an adult, she collected evidence of abuse, made it public, and only then the judiciary took action. Initially the court decided to try the suspects without detention, but under huge public pressure, the court detained both the father and husband. The father, in a statement, said that he was answerable only to Allah, not to a court.
Hey, West! Time to get to know your NATO partner. Erdogan’s Minister of Family and Social Services, Derya Yanık (a woman), claimed that violence against women and child abuse are not the subject of politics because they are “human nature issues and can be seen in every society.”
What is the link between these criminal acts and Erdogan’s government? First, the sheik who married off his six-year-old daughter heads a foundation linked to the influential radical Islamist Ismailaga community. Second, the Ismailaga community is one of many that fall under the umbrella of the Naqshbandi-Khalidi order, a branch of Sunni Islam of which Erdogan is said to have been a follower. Third, the funeral of the Ismailaga sect’s longtime leader earlier this year was attended by Erdogan and Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu.
There are civilized and medieval worlds in the 21st century — and there are medieval leaders dressed in suits and ties who pretend to belong to the civilized world.

Watch: Hungarian police chase people smuggler driving van with 35 migrants through in Budapest
A Budapest driver’s dashboard camera recorded a high-speed chase in a posh area of the Hungarian capital on Tuesday night in which a large number of police cars moved in to stop a minivan smuggling migrants, daily Magyar Hírlap reports.
Upon seeing the incoming convoy of police vehicles, the motorist stopped at a bus station from where his dashboard camera had a perfect view of the police race by in pursuit of the suspect.
Official information about the incident was also made available on the national police website shortly afterwards. The police wrote that around 9:00 p.m. on the M1 highway near Biatorbágy, they wanted to check a van with Polish license plates, but the driver did not stop at the police signal and drove off towards the capital.
While fleeing, the Georgian citizen driving the van collided with three cars in Budaörs and seven other cars in Budapest, on Budakeszi road, Attila road and Szilágyi Erzsébet fasor, and also hit a police car. The chase finally ended at the intersection of Attila út and Krisztina út at 9.15 a.m., when the police forced the Georgian man to stop.
The smuggler deliberately crashed his van into the police car and fled the scene, but was caught nearby.

Swiss reject ‘non-binary’ gender dictates
The Swiss have remained down to earth – at least as far as gender issues that is rampant in the US and Europe are concerned.
The Confederates will continue to only have “man” and “woman” in official documents in the future. At the last Federal Council meeting of the year, the government in Bern passed a report on the “Introduction of a third gender”, in which it rejected gender ideology.
The Federal Council had come to the conclusion that the social prerequisites for an official third gender were not given. The “binary” gender model is therefore still firmly anchored in Switzerland. In the debate, many parliamentarians referred to the “National Ethics Committee”. This body had already come to the same conclusion in a report in 2020.
In addition to “female” and “male”, there should be no “diverse” or “non-binary” in passports, other official documents and in the population registers for the time being.
