As Germany eases citizenship rules, Sweden tightens them
While Germany is discussing easier naturalization for foreign nationals, the new center-right government in Sweden, propped up by the right-wing Sweden Democrats, is planning to make citizenship subject to stricter rules.
“Germany has become a country that is the land of hope for many,” German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said in a video message a few days ago, advocating reform of citizenship laws. Germany needs “better regulations,” the chancellor said, supporting the agenda of the traffic light coalition and SPD Interior Minister Nancy Faeser. The SPD, Greens, and FDP pledged in their coalition agreement to ease the process for foreign nationals residing in Germany to attain German citizenship.
The message of the traffic light coalition is clear: Immigration policy is to be realigned, and Germany is to become even more welcoming to mass migration. The Interior Ministry’s draft law stipulates that in the future, people will be able to apply for citizenship after just five years instead of the previous eight; in the case of “special integration achievements,” such as good language skills or academic and professional success, this will even be possible after just three years. The proposal has been criticized not only by the opposition but also one coalition partner, FDP.
In contrast, the strategy in Scandinavia has developed quite differently. Following in the footsteps of Denmark, where the goal of “zero migration” was set years ago and the hurdles for naturalization were raised significantly, Sweden has now also begun to tighten its migration and integration policy considerably. In the country that long maintained the most liberal immigration policy in Europe, those in power have made a U-turn, which was actually initiated under the previous leadership of SPD’s Social Democratic sister party.
With the new conservative coalition government, in which Sweden’s right-wing nationalists will have considerable influence for the first time, this trend is likely to intensify. Two months after the election, there are increasing signs of this.
The change began in 2015, when more than 160,000 people arrived in Sweden in the wake of the migration crisis, resulting in the country welcoming more people per capita than any other European country. The Social Democratic government pulled the emergency brake and tightened asylum laws for the first time.
Stockholm also abolished the indefinite right to stay after three decades and last summer turned the temporary solution into a legally established one. The right-wing nationalist Sweden Democrats had called for even stricter rules, including for Swedish citizenship.
Although Sweden still naturalizes the most foreign nationals in Europe relative to its population, a declaration of intent by the new coalition government indicates that, following the turnaround in migration policy, new conditions could soon apply to citizenship as well.
In mid-October, the new coalition partners laid the foundation for their future cooperation in the so-called Tidö Agreement, named after the castle in which the parties agreed on several common goals. The topics of migration and integration play a central role in this agreement.
For example, the parties of the right-wing bloc agreed to set up a new government commission “to work out further stricter requirements for acquiring Swedish citizenship.” It is to “investigate and propose” whether, in the future, citizenship can only be applied for after a period of residence of at least eight years.
It is difficult to predict what the coalition will be able to agree upon over the next four years, but it is already apparent that the right-wing bloc is united on several fronts, all pointing in one direction: turning away from Sweden’s long-held tradition of a liberal immigration policy.

Climate fanatics target airports
The climate fanatics of the Last Generation are no longer an annoying nuisance but have become a danger to life and limb due to the benevolent approval of Germany’s spy chief Thomas Haldenwang. Their actions are increasingly radical, on the verge of terrorism aimed at airports and concert halls.
After months of bringing traffic to a standstill with their absurd road blockades, hampering rescue operations and keeping people from going to work, they made their way to Berlin Airport BER for the first time last week, where they glued themselves to the runway.
Air traffic had to be halted, five take-offs canceled and 15 planned landings diverted. Arriving planes were diverted to Leipzig, Hanover or Dresden, others had to fly in holding patterns. The police eventually removed the “activists”. According to the airport operator, 750 passengers were affected.
Massive danger to life and limb
Apart from the damage in the millions, this protest could have ended in a catastrophe, for example if flights with transplanted organs had not been able to land. After the action, the entire airport area had to be searched for dangerous objects to prevent them from endangering take-offs and landings.
Five men and one woman between the ages of 20 and 32 managed to get into the airport of a European capital and also filmed the whole thing calmly. Even though they were arrested, five of them have already been released.
They are being investigated for, among other things, dangerous interference with air traffic, disruption of public services, trespassing and property damage.
The incident throws another spotlight on the ridiculous security measures of an ailing state that can now be abused on by anyone. Federal Minister of the Interior Nancy Faeser and other politicians, many of whom otherwise openly sympathize with the climate extremists, condemned the airport action, but no actual measures against the transgression were announced.
Also targeting concert halls
The airport action was not the only action taken by the Green activists. On the eve of the airport attack, the climate fanatics had glued themselves to the conductor’s podium at the Hamburg Elbphilharmonie shortly before the start of a concert.
In doing so, however, in addition to their fanaticism, they also demonstrated pitiful stupidity: the pole to which they had attached themselves could be removed effortlessly and removed from the hall to loud cheers from the exasperated audience.
Admittedly, it gave many people the impression that the activists were ultimately harmless idiots. Nevertheless, the danger that they pose has been massively downplayed. Because even idiots are able to harm others.
Unlimited understanding for fanatics
After the fiasco in Hamburg, the Berlin Philharmonic announced: “We live in the midst of the climate crisis. Actions that show grievances in dealing with the crisis must and should be possible in an opinion-free and democratic society.” The “activists” pose “no personal or physical danger to the visitors”.
Against this background, it is no wonder that the climate sects rightly assume that they can get away with anything. In fact, they have been emboldened. In the delusion of being the last generation that can still prevent the supposedly impending climate catastrophe, they believe that they can or even have to break every law and endanger human lives because their noble goal justifies every sacrifice, of course only from others.
The German domestic spy boss Thomas Haldenwang, was not ashamed to publicly admit that he could not see “that this group was directed against the free democratic basic order, and in this respect it is not an object of observation”. The group does commit crimes, “but committing crimes does not make this group extremist”.
Rather, the Last Generation shows “how much they actually respect this system”. Such statements have left citizens stunned – and the “activists” delighted.
Feeble pushback
The Interior Ministers of Bavaria and North Rhine-Westphalia, Joachim Herrmann (CSU) and Herbert Reul (CDU), have contradicted Haldenwang statements that the activists are “not extremist”.
Herrmann told the Bild newspaper: “I can’t see any ‘special respect’ for our democratic system here”. He also said the climate fanatics were sowing “chaos” because they did not respect the law. Reul made a similar statement to the newspaper.
In large cities in particular, the group regularly blocks commuter traffic, damages works of art, disrupts public events and sabotages oil pipelines. A spokeswoman recently announced that she would start “training” new members.
They demand that their wishes be implemented, even if there is no democratic majority for this. Before the general election, they had called for the creation of an unelected body that would bypass parliament and government to enforce climate protection measures.

German judge says to Syrian serial offender: “We’ll leave Allah out of it, I’ll decide!”
He claimed that the witnesses were paid, kept interrupting – and whined about how badly he was doing!
Seriel offender Tarek T. (45, allegedly a former police officer) sat in the dock at the district court in Bautzen on Tuesday. Opposite him: Badass judge Dr. Dirk Hertle (60).
When prosecutor Jens-Hagen Josinger (58) read out the nine charges (multiple bodily harm, insults, dangerous interference with traffic, robbery), the Libyan interrupted. Hertle clearly rebuked him.
Even before the first testimony, the accused then says: There are “people who are paid here to testify”. But he himself could hardly remember anything. He called the alleged victims by their first names. Then the accused said, “I don’t understand anything!”
Dr. Hertle responded, “You’ll understand in a minute!”
He made it clear to the Libyan that there would be no parole and spoke of the fact that he could impose up to four years’ imprisonment.
But the seriel offender does not rest. “You want something, I want something – Allah decides in the end,” he says to the judge. Who replies, “We’ll leave Allah out of it, here I decide!”
The trial is continued.

Alyssa Milano dumps Tesla because of ‘hate’ — but then buys a Hitler car
By Olivia Murray
I, for one, consistently find myself stupefied regarding the bottomed out intellect of Hollywood’s leftist virtue-signalers — enter stage left, Alyssa Milano.
You might remember, during the height of Covid masking, Milano “did her part” against the virus, and donned a crochet mask. One conservative commentator referred to her act as a being synonymous to a “screen door on a submarine”, and James Woods said this:
According to Woods, Milano “needs a few history lessons” — but why?
Well, now she’s really outdone herself. Musk’s restoration of the most basic measures of free speech and ethical standards to Twitter saw political conservatives once again permitted to coexist in the Twitterverse, and the move sparked a hostile outcry from a number of tolerant and accepting progressives; Milano being one of them. A woman known for her subpar ability to pass herself off for what she is not, is embracing the role of empathetic humanitarian — and in protest, Milano has traded in her Tesla vehicle.
I’m sure you’re wondering, but no, this wasn’t satire. Milano actually denounced “hate” and “white supremacy” in the same breath that she bragged about patronizing a company whose history is intimately woven into the politics of Germany’s Adolf Hitler. News flash for Ms. Milano: Aryan eugenics, a hallmark policy of the Nazi regime, is actually more aligned with “white supremacy” than a moderate level of free speech for American conservatives.
Yesterday, a journalist for Breitbart wrote:
Volkswagen has direct ties to the Nazi party since the German automaker was founded in 1937 by the German Labour Front, a Nazi labor organization. During World War II, Volkswagen relied heavily on concentration camp labor for the manufacturing of its vehicles.
You can’t make this stuff up! The antics of leftist celebrities like Milano have now exploded past the boundaries of the absurd. In a self-deluded reality, there is no end to self-promotion, and from what I can tell, it almost always backfires. What kind of a person derives their virtue from doing business with a company with uniquely unscrupulous roots? Alyssa Milano, that’s who — and it shows.
The Bird is (somewhat) free, and American fascists like Milano are not having it; for them, it’s better to collaborate with Nazism than Americanism.
Pro-Crime Prop Backed by Soros Freed Over 7,000 Pedophiles – Other backers included Netflix CEO Reed Hastings and Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg
There’s something deeply rotten in the state of California.
Like most pro-crime measures, California’s Proposition 57 was a horrifying disaster that people warned about. And yet were ignored as lefties and libertarians, and their useful idiots, cheered the idea of ‘criminal justice reform’.
Prop 57 followed in the footsteps of Prop 47 in dismantling California’s tough criminal justice measures and turning the system into a revolving door for career criminals and assorted monsters.
Billionaires Reed Hastings, Dustin Moskovitz, George Soros, Tom Steyer and Mark Zuckerberg helped bankroll Proposition 57, which passed yesterday with nearly two-thirds of the vote. The measure will improve parole options for nonviolent felons and let judges to decide whether to try juveniles as adults.
Other donors included Hastings, CEO of Netflix, and Zuckerberg, Facebook’s CEO, both of whom contributed around $1 million, and Facebook cofounder Moskowitz and hedge fund billionaire Soros, who both put in $500,000 through their political action groups.
The measure’s financial backers also included actor Robert Downey Jr.; singer-songwriter John Legend; and Kaitlyn Trigger Krieger, wife of Instagram cofounder Mike Krieger.
Here are the monstrous consequences.
More than 7,000 sex offenders were convicted of ‘lewd or lascivious acts with a child under 14 years of age’ but were let out of prison the same year they were incarcerated, data from the California Megan’s Law database says.
Others who committed some of the worst child sex crimes on the statute books served similarly short sentences, including 365 pedophiles convicted of continuous sexual abuse of a child who spent less than 12 months in prison, 39 cases of sodomy with a child under 16, and three cases of kidnapping a child under 14 ‘with intent to commit lewd or lascivious acts’, according to the data.
One offender in the database is Reseda, resident Carlos Alexander Nahue, 48, who was convicted of ‘continuous sexual abuse of a child’ in 2015.
His Los Angeles court records say he was charged in October 2014 and pled no contest to the crime in January 2015 – but was sentenced to just two days in an LA county jail and five years of probation.
He now lives one block from Royal Montessori School daycare and three blocks from Reseda Elementary School, according to the Megan’s Law database.
One child abuse prosecutor in the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office told DailyMail.com the situation was ‘a disgrace’.
Deputy District Attorney Jon Hatami added that the problem of short prison time for pedophiles was getting worse, not better. He blamed Proposition 57, a 2016 bill allowing early parole for nonviolent felons which was supported by his boss, LA DA George Gascón.
‘Thousands of child victims are being denied justice and George Gascón and his group of radical prosecutors can care less,’ Hatami said.
CEO Reed Hastings inflicted Gascon on Los Angeles. And considering Netflix’s content sexualizing children, maybe that’s not too surprising.
Netflix is encouraging subscribers to watch the French film “Cuties,” despite a petition to remove the film and the trending hashtag #CancelNetflix.
The backlash began when the film’s artwork debuted in late August and drew criticism on social media for showing the film’s cast of children in midriff-baring uniforms and short shorts striking various dance poses. Netflix issued an apology for the “inappropriate” artwork promoting the film, which follows 11-year-old Amy’s struggle to find her identity amid contrasting cultures.
But by Sunday, U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Tex., had doubled down on his criticism of the movie.
” ‘Cuties’ sexualizes 11-year-old girls, and it’s disgusting and wrong. That’s why I’ve asked AG Barr to investigate whether Netflix, its executives, or the filmmakers violated any federal laws against the production and distribution of child pornography,” Cruz tweeted Sunday, along with video of his remarks about the film on Fox News.
Sen. Tom Cotton, R-Ark., has also spoken out against Netflix on Twitter.
“Last year, @netflix lectured conservative states for passing pro-life laws to protect unborn children. Now, @netflix peddles child pornography. At least @netflix is consistent,” he wrote on Twitter Saturday morning.
It certainly is. And the consequences go beyond the screen.

After nurses fired across France for refusing Covid-19 vaccine, 71-year-old dies alone on stretcher in hospital hallway
A 71-year-old man’s body was found lifeless three hours after he was admitted to the emergency department of Saint-Malo Hospital in France, with critics pointing to the mass terminations of French nurses who refused Covid-19 vaccines as a contributing factor in the man’s death.
The emergency room admitted the 71-year-old man just before 9 p.m. on Nov. 17. After he received routine examinations, he then waited three hours on a stretcher in a hallway. His body was then discovered there by hospital staff.
Now, a sign in front of the hospital’s emergency room reads, “Saturated emergency department, patients in danger,” which serves as a warning to all patients being treated in the ER.
The death comes amidst a healthcare crisis in France, with 15,000 French healthcare workers suspended during the Covid-19 crisis after their refusal to get the Covid-19 vaccine. The resulting shortage of medical staff may just be one factor in France’s healthcare crisis, but the sheer number of workers let go over vaccine refusals means it is a major one. In the hospital where the 71-year-old man died, in total, 70 positions are now vacant in various departments, according to France 3 Bretagne.
So far, the government of French President Emmanuel Macron has labeled it “completely out of the question” to lift sanctions on healthcare workers refusing to be vaccinated. The remaining staff in hospitals and clinics across the country are stretched thin and exhausted, which has in turn led to a large number of personnel quitting due to poor working conditions.
In many ways, Saint-Malo Hospital has it better than many other locales, as several emergency services have closed their doors throughout the country. France’s rising immigrant population, while also filling some roles inside hospitals, has been a major burden as well, increasing the load on healthcare workers and leading to longer wait times in clinics in hospitals.
Nurses are striking but still must work
Now, the management of the hospital faces a potential investigation, with the Public Prosecutor’s Office ordering an autopsy, reported the Ouest France news outlet.
Since Nov. 2, Saint-Malo Hospital’s nursing staff has been on strike, but the law requires them to continue working. The Health, Safety, and Working Conditions Committee has declared that a “serious and imminent danger” is occurring at the hospital due to worker shortages and long working hours. The union has met with staff and the director of the hospital to address the crisis.
The hospital management says it is premature to claim that the man’s death is connected to the “current situation” regarding hospital staff.
Taliban helped build Qatar World Cup stadiums, made profit – Telegraph
The Taliban terrorist group reportedly assisted in building stadiums for the World Cup in Qatar and made a profit by assisting in the construction, according to a Friday exclusive report by The Telegraph.
The terrorist group reportedly made its profit by providing construction equipment. Over the past couple of years, senior Taliban officials used “lucrative salaries tied to peace talks to buy and then subcontract heavy machinery,” the report said citing the Taliban’s Doha office. “Some Taliban members had between six and ten pieces of heavy machinery each in Doha and would earn up to £10,000 per machine per month.”
Taliban officials were even given allowances to live in Qatar during peace negotiations with the US and the UN, according to another two Taliban sources the report cited.
“Some Taliban members had between six and ten pieces of heavy machinery each in Doha and would earn up to £10,000 per machine per month.”
The Taliban being involved in the construction of the World Cup venues only adds to the controversy that this year’s tournament in Qatar has garnered. As much of its controversy has also been targeted at Qatari officials for labor abuse allegations, which may have caused many deaths among migrant workers.
The official count in the number of deaths among workers on World Cup sites is 37, according to a Sunday report from The Guardian. However, many believe that is not even close to the real number of deaths, which were caused by high temperatures, heat-related illnesses and workplace accidents.
A February 2021 analysis from The Guardian says that the number of migrant worker deaths in Qatar exceed 6,500 since the official announcement on December 2010 that Qatar would host the tournament 12 years later. However, that number may have increased since The Guardian analysis was published.
