I’m guessing that Australia’s ‘News24’ “Trusted News First” is not going to have Captain Byron Bailey, an experienced airline pilot and former RAAF (Royal Australian Air Force) pilot back after they brought him on to explain what happened in the FlyDubai hijacking.
Well, the good captain explained.
This might not have been the explanation that News24, which covered the attempted suicide hijacking as “Israel-bound flight with 150 on board diverted to Saudi Arabia after brawl between pilots”, and whose current stories include headlines such as “Palestinian killed in second straight day of settler violence”, was looking for.
Too bad. Its viewers got a good humored dose of truth anyway.
