State-funded Berlin daycare centre has close ties to the Islamist scene

Media research has once again revealed the indescribable idiocy and irresponsibility that prevails in Berlin. Six years ago, the Senate happily agreed to support a kindergarten in the Neukölln district run by Shiite Muslims from the non-profit organisation BNIG and granted around four million (!) euros. The fact that the organisation had included the phrase “to promote tolerance and international understanding” in its statutes apparently delighted the left-wing city government. As is typical for Berlin, the day-care centre has still not been completed due to numerous construction problems. Much more serious, however, is the fact that BNIG board member and treasurer Mohamed A. is involved in a community called Torath, which, according to its own information, acts as the ‘liaison office of the great scholar Ayatullah Ali al-Husaini as-Sistani for Germany’.

As-Sistani, a 94-year-old Iranian living in Iraq, is regarded as an influential scholar and has made a name for himself with his thoughts on the permissibility of sexual intercourse with children, among other things. An Islamic legal opinion (fatwa) reads as follows: ‘If a person marries a girl who is not bālighah (an adult, according to Sistani at the age of nine), it is impermissible for him to have sexual intercourse with her until she has reached nine lunar years.’ However, caresses are also permitted in a marriage with girls under the age of nine. Hassan Nasrallah, the leader of the terrorist organisation Hezbollah who was killed in an Israeli airstrike last September, was praised by as-Sistani as a ‘great martyr’ and ‘unique leader’.

The fact that an influential member of a daycare centre operator maintains contacts with a community, which in turn sees itself as the liaison office of a man who openly advocates sexual abuse of children, was no obstacle for the Berlin Senate to approve almost four million euros in taxpayers’ money. Neukölln’s SPD district mayor Martin Hikel explained that he was initially very pleased about the day-care centre project, but later learned of the potentially problematic background, which now needs to be investigated. ‘We are somewhat suspicious of this daycare centre location, simply because there are links to other organisations that are clearly committed to an Ayatollah mindset,’ said Hikel’s convoluted statement. Especially in Neukölln, forced marriages and nine-year-old girls who are forced to wear headscarves are not uncommon, as Falko Liecke, State Secretary of the Berlin Education Administration and former youth councillor in Neukölln, reports.
The almost four million euros in subsidies that were thrown at the not-yet-existing daycare centre can most likely no longer be reclaimed because the construction is too far advanced. Berlin is thus once again a gigantic machine for destroying taxpayers’ money, opening the floodgates to Islamisation in blind naivety.
