Majority of US physicians decline anti-Covid jabs

According to a survey by the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons (AAPS), almost 60 percent said they were not “fully vaccinated” against the novel Coronavirus. Some 700 physicians were questioned in an internet survey by the AAPS.

“It is wrong to call a person who declines a shot an ‘anti-vaxxer,’” said AAPS’s executive director, Jane Orient. “Virtually no physicians are ‘anti-antibiotics’ or ‘anti-surgery,’ whereas all are opposed to treatments that they think are unnecessary, more likely to harm than to benefit an individual patient, or inadequately tested,” continued Orient, a medical doctor.

This result contradicts the claim by the American Medical Association that 96 percent of practicing physicians are fully vaccinated in which 300 respondents had participated.

Even though neither survey represents a broad sample of all American physicians, the AAPS survey certainly revealed that doctors were not unanimously in support of the mass inoculation campaign. Of 560 practicing physicians, 56 percent also said they were offering early treatment against SARS-CoV-2.

Notably, the AAPS survey also showed that 54 percent of physicians questioned were aware of patients suffering a “significant adverse reaction”. Of the unvaccinated physicians, 80 percent had felt the risk to take the jab too great. “I believe the risk of shots exceeds the risk of disease,” they said while 30 percent said: “I already had Covid.”

Other reasons for declining the faux inoculations included the fact that jabs were “experimental”, the unknown long-term effects, availability of effective early treatment, and reports of deaths and blood clots.

Non-physicians were also invited to participate in the survey, totalling some 5 300 participants. Some 2548 volunteered comments about associated adverse effects of which they were personally aware. These included death, amputation, paralysis, stillbirth, menstrual irregularities, blindness, seizures, and heart issues.

“Causality is not proven. However, many of these episodes might have resulted in a huge product liability or malpractice award if they had occurred after a new drug,” according to Orient. “Purveyors of these Covid products are protected against lawsuits.”

The Association of American Physicians and Surgeons has represented physicians in all specialties since 1943 and its motto is omnia pro aegroto, [everything for the patient].
