Job centre extras for Muslim benefit recipients in Germany: arbitrary postponement of appointments “for religious reasons”

The German welfare state seems to want to accelerate its already inevitable collapse. The incessant mass migration is gobbling up billions and billions for citizen’s benefits and other services for which nothing is charged in return. Now the Federal Employment Agency (BA) has also introduced a new directive that allows citizens’ benefits recipients to postpone appointments at the Job Centre if they “credibly” claim to be “prevented from attending a scheduled appointment for religious reasons”.

This includes, for example, “religious holidays that impose/prescribe certain behaviours on religious members” that could prevent them from attending the Job Centre. A BA spokeswoman explained: “This takes appropriate account of the constitutionally guaranteed freedom to practise one’s religion within the framework of the citizen’s benefits.” As usual, they also present their self-sacrifice as an achievement. The new regulation goes back to a woman’s complaint, which was apparently immediately complied with.

The job centres, which are already swamped with work, are now also supposed to carry out case-by-case checks on whether the religious reasons given are plausible, because religions celebrate “different holidays”. It goes without saying that this regulation is hardly about Christians who want to attend Sunday services and who are unlikely to be summoned to the job centre on Christmas or Easter holidays. It is nothing more than another privileging concession for Muslims. Therefore, even if Muslims do not want to attend an appointment because of the fasting month of Ramadan, they should be examined.

How this examination will turn out is anyone’s guess. The completely demoralised Job Centre employees will hardly evoke the always latent anger of their mostly Islamic clientele, especially since they have no means of sanction anyway and are also threatened with the accusation of “anti-Muslim racism”, which legions of Islamic and left-wing lobbyists always have at the ready. It is true that the Friday prayer of Muslims cannot be cited as an obstacle in principle, because the day is “not comparable with the Sunday regulation in Germany, since then “all shops and authorities in Germany would be closed for legal reasons”, but here too they will simply turn a blind eye. This kowtowing by the authorities to the particular interests of an increasingly demanding and dominant section of the population is also just another footnote in the German capitulation to the society-transforming Islamic mass immigration.
