How the left-wing German state finances the NGOs’ hatred of Jews with taxpayers’ money

The “Living Democracy” funding programme of the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs was misused by the incompetent former minister Lisa Paus (Greens), who can only be described as malicious and angry, to transform “civil society” into a partisan battlefront for the eco-socialist restructuring of society. Endowed with a ludicrous 182 million euros a year, this is supposed to financially support “civil society engagement for democracy and against extremism” according to documents. In fact, a veritable antifa and counter-right-wing industry has emerged in this swamp. However, this tax money-embezzling juggernaut produces even worse abysses: as an investigation by the newspaper ‘Welt am Sonntag’ reveals, organisations with anti-Semitic and Islamist connections and goals also receive millions from the government funding pool.

One example is the ‘Islamic Science and Education Institute’ (IWB), which the Office for the Protection of the Constitution considers to be part of the Islamist Millî Görüş movement. Its founder, Ali Özgür Özdil, calls the Salafist Marcel Krass, who is being monitored by the State Security Service, a ‘dear friend’. Despite this, around one million euros went to an alliance linked to IWB. BIWOC Rising, whose managing director Loubna Messaoudi is said to have tolerated anti-Semitic statements, also received 800,000 euros for a coworking project.

The fact that this funding continues under the left-wing government of the worst voter fraudster of all time, Friedrich Merz, and is now even exempt from any critical review (at the latest since SPD leader Lars “Antifa” Klingbeil, as Merz’s chancellor, insisted before coalition negotiations began that a catalogue of questions on 551 funded dubious NGOs proposed by the CDU in the Bundestag in January be scrapped) is in itself an unprecedented scandal. The funding of anti-Semitic and Jew-hating, pro-Palestinian organisations shows the complete degeneration of German politics all the more drastically.
The reactions of politicians to the revelations are as shameful as they are telling: while parts of the CDU and SPD – including the federal government’s anti-Semitism commissioner, Felix Klein – are calling for “consequences” (along the lines of “stop thief”, as they themselves voted in favour of “Demokratie leben”!), the Greens and the Left do not even see any need for action. And the inactivity of the ministerial Green disgrace Lisa Paus, who was responsible for the funding pot until May, proves the blatant failure of any supervision. Criminal and, above all, political consequences should urgently follow: The entire ‘democracy promotion’ programme should be abolished immediately.
