In Coesfeld, a 36-year-old Turkish woman and mother of three has been stabbed to death. Suspect is her separated man.
Witnesses found the 36-year-old mother of three children with stab injuries in the upper body at the refugee shelter in Coesfeld (photo). Despite immediately initiated resuscitation measures, the woman died due to the stings on Wednesday, 23. September, on the spot.
The police had arrested a suspect in the night on Thursday in Münster in the Achtermannstraße, near the main train station in Münster.
According to initial findings, the 43-year-old man with Turkish nationality is the separated husband of the Turkish woman. He was last registered as having a permanent address in Hamm.
The background to the crime is still completely unclear. Among other things, the police are also investigating the role of the apparently failed relationship between the two for the motive.
According to the public prosecutor’s office, the 43-year-old is currently facing charges of attempted coercion, trespass and assault.At a first trial date in the district court, the woman had testified that she had also been raped by her husband.
The trial had subsequently been called off and was to be restarted in the coming months before a court of law.
In addition, the suspect has already had a criminal record for dangerous bodily harm.
