An incident at a primary school in Hamburg is now before the courts: A former teaching assistant has had to answer before the St. Georg District Court on charges of coercion, making threats, and assault. The 24-year-old was accused of threatening an eleven-year-old pupil with a pocket knife two years ago to make him wipe the blackboard. She is also alleged to have pulled the child’s hair and physically assaulted him.
