The police are urgently looking for witnesses to a physical attack on Wednesday at around 11.40 a.m. in Zweibrück’s Saarlandstraße by calling 06332 9760. In front of the house with the number 9, a 35-year-old woman pushing her pram with baby on the pavement between Gestütsallee and Festhalle in the direction of Hofenfelsstraße was attacked. For no apparent reason, an unknown woman pulled the mother’s hair from behind and then hit and kicked her, causing her to fall to the ground. Before that, the perpetrator had chased after the mother. The mother called for help and passers-by rushed to help. The assailant crossed the street towards the car park opposite the festival hall and ran away without being recognised. The attacked woman suffered bruises and sprains. The unknown woman is said to be 40 to 45 years old, about 1.65 metres tall and stocky. She covered her dark hair with a headscarf. The woman is said to have fair skin; the police say she is probably of Arab origin.
