As of around a decade ago, all Islamic terrorism in Europe was reclassified as mental illness. There’s been a lot of mental illness incidents lately, but that’s probably just due to stress, overwork and some black book we’re not allowed to mention.
Here’s a few recent incidents of mental illness. See if you can out-Freud, Sigmund and figure out the common thread.

When a Turkish Muslim gunman showed up at a Dresden supermarket shouting, “Allahu Akbar” and shooting, the authorities knew just what to do.
The 41-year-old Turkish man shot by Dresden police in the Friedrichstadt district on Wednesday has been admitted to a psychiatric hospital. A police spokesperson told us there are indications that the suspect suffers from a serious mental illness.
Therefore, his capacity for criminal responsibility may be diminished. There is no evidence of an Islamist motive. The man threatened several people with a firearm on Wednesday. He was overpowered by special forces after a shootout.
After leaving the market, the man reportedly knelt down, repeatedly shouted “Allahu Akbar,” and jerked his weapon toward a police team, possibly firing a shot at the officers.
Not a single piece of evidence of an Islamist motive. Just some Allah Ackbaring mental illness which surely the good shrinks will cure him of this “serious mental illness” which appears to affect a very, very specific sector of the population.
The next step is his “capacity for criminal responsibility may be diminished” and he can be set loose to shoot up some people in the name of his ‘mental illness’.
