France: Manhunt for a man who shouted “Allahu akbar” outside two schools, students were kept in their classrooms

On Friday April 19, an active search was launched in the streets of Cannes (Alpes-Maritimes) for a man after he shouted “Allahu akbar” outside two schools in the city, BFM Nice Côte d’Azur was told by police sources and the headmaster’s office.

The pupils of the Collège les Muriers and the Bocca Muriers school were kept in their classrooms for an hour.

It was the head teachers of the two schools concerned who alerted the police and took the usual measures. The person in question fled. www.bfmtv.com
