France Honors Gen. Milley for Defending ‘French Values’ – At least there’s one country that honors surrender and appeasement

Perhaps Joint Chiefs chairman, Gen. Mark Milley once had a hope of winning the Medal of Honor or winning a war, but those dreams are long dead. He’ll settle for leaving office and beginning a lucrative career of putting his military experience to use for defense contractors, foreign governments or whoever.

Speaking of foreign governments, considering his French-like military track record, he’s getting a Medal of Honor from the French.

French President Emmanuel Macron awarded France’s highest medal of honor to the U.S. Joint Chiefs chairman, Gen. Mark Milley…

Macron awarded Milley the order of Commander of the Legion of Honor at a closed ceremony at the Élysée, the presidential palace. The medal was created by French emperor Napoleon Bonaparte in 1802. It is awarded to about 2,000 citizens and about 300 foreigners each year for defense of French values.

Surrender and appeasement? At least there’s one country that honors that.

Mark Twain once joked that every waiter in France had the Légion d’Honneur. Gen. Milley gets to have his own addition to his potato salad.

Other recipients of the Légion d’Honneur include Vladimir Putin, Jeff Bezos, Jesse Jackson, Jerry Lewis, and Harvey Weinstein so… Gen. Milley is in good company?

You can buy a used one for around $200 bucks so if Gen. Milley ever needs to buy a really nice bottle of wine in Paris, he can cash it out.

Better men have done it. Much better men. So Gen. Milley will just probably put it on a shelf and in his bio.
