Two men accused of the gang rape of a 27-year-old man in Crete were imprisoned.
According to Creta Post, the Pakistani perpetrators – a 30-year-old and a 21-year-old – were brought before the investigator on Monday, and according to their statement, they denied all the charges.
The investigator and prosecutor, however, seem not to have been convinced by their words, as a result of which they decided to remand them immediately.
It is worth noting that arrest warrants are expected for two more Pakistanis – aged 26 and 29 – who allegedly participated in the gang rape of the victim from Somalia.
The video recording
It all started when the 27-year-old (originally from Somalia) reported that on August 24, he had visited a house of two Pakistanis (aged 30 and 21) in Ammoudara, Heraklion.
In the house were two other young people, also of Pakistani origin, aged 26 and 29. As the 27-year-old states in his complaint, all four committed lewd acts against him against his will, while all four raped him. This act was videotaped by those present.
After the incident, the 27-year-old went to the police and reported what happened. The police searched the home of the two Pakistanis, where they found a bat, a knife and narcotics, and arrested them. The other two, who were visitors to the house are still at large.
