A terrible suspicion! Did German police officers, who were not wearing their service numbers and clearly could not speak Polish, secure the Polish Constitutional Court and prevent the Polish President from gaining access? (Video)

If it turns out that the police officers who cordoned off the Polish Constitutional Court – who were not wearing their service numbers and who clearly could not speak Polish – were from Germany, that is even more insidious than I initially thought:
On the one hand, it would constitute blatant, unlawful EU terrorism against a sovereign nation and support for a coup d’état.
Secondly, it would reopen the rifts between Poland and Germany – which had only been painstakingly buried – and once again sow discord between the two nations.
This is entirely in keeping with the inhuman, supranational EU.

The EU Met Its Waterloo In Warsaw

by Clarice Feldman

While the news is scattered and the incidents fresh, it appears the EU-supported politicians attempted a coup d’etat in Poland and lost due to the bravery of the Polish president Karol Nawrocki and the thousands of Poles who support him. The international press is largely silent as this significant setback for the EU unfolds, but thanks to Elon Musk, X is covering it well.

Hermann Tertsch , a member of the European Parliament for Spain, reports

Without X, no one in Europe would have found out about what happened in Poland tonight. The head of government Donald Tusk carried out an attempted coup d’état, taking advantage of the state head Karol Nawrocky’s trip abroad. He stormed the Constitutional Tribunal with the police and tried to remove the president and vice president of the Constitutional with a loyal judge without competencies. But he hadn’t counted on the president, who, upon learning of it, ordered the plane to turn around while it was flying over Spain. He returned to Warsaw, forced his way into the TC building ahead of his escorts despite Tusk’s police cordon, and summoned all the highest institutions of the Supreme and Constitutional to restore constitutional order. Although the crisis continues, it seems clear that Tusk’s government, the puppet of Von der Leyen who would never have carried out this assault without Brussels’ permission, has its days numbered. But remember, the public and private media across all of Europe have been complicit in the coup d’état by silencing the entire operation. Only social networks have alerted Poles and Europeans. That’s why they want to intervene in them.

The plotters managed the airport well enough to refuse Nawrocki’s return flight landing rights but the military pilots of his plane ignored the control tower and landed anyway.

A little background on Polish government from Jeff Childers:

Poland has a Constitutional Tribunal, which works roughly like our Supreme Court. Prime Minister Donald Tusk’s pro-EU government called the court illegitimate because the conservative Law and Justice party (PiS) packed it with conservatives back in 2015. So his government simply stopped publishing the court’s rulings, even though Polish law requires it.

This year, parliament elected new leftwing judges. President Karol Nawrocki, a PiS ally who holds the veto, refused to swear five of them in. Without the president’s oath, Polish law says they aren’t judges yet.

Last night, while President Nawrocki was out of the country, Donald Tusk’s justice minister, Waldemar Żurek, moved to criminally charge the court’s conservative chief justice, Bogdan Święczkowski, by lifting his official immunity. Seven of the not-yet-sworn judges walked into the Tribunal under government security escort, and the court’s own guards were told to leave.

One of the new judges, Anna Korwin-Piotrowska, declared herself the court’s most senior judge, by counting her years from 1995 in the ordinary courts, not from any time on the Tribunal. On that basis, she suspended the chief justice and his deputy for a month. Riot police ringed the building and the new judges took over the court’s website. The court’s X account, still run by the old leadership, posted that everyone involved was “committing the crime of a coup d’état.”

When it all went down, President Nawrocki was flying to Senegal. He posted, “At such a moment, the President must be in Poland. I’m interrupting my flight,” and flew back. Just after midnight, he went to the Tribunal with the head of the Supreme Court, cut a padlock on the Tribunal’s front fence with a power saw, pushed through the police at the door, and told the new judges, “You are not judges.” Before dawn, he called it a “forcible takeover of a constitutional organ of the state” and convened emergency security talks for today.[/quote]

The coup plotters timed this to occur when the president was to be out of town and when most of the capital city residents were likely to have traveled back to rural areas to celebrate All Saints Day with their families. The city’s residents seem to have returned en masse and surrounded the government buildings in support of Nawrocki.

How to commit political suicide: Donald Tusk managed to unite the entire fragmented Polish Right + the President against him. He sends the Police to expel the current President and Vice of the Constitutional Tribunal… on a Friday night, after the Stock Exchange closes, during an All Souls’ weekend and with the President away on an official trip. Why the importance of All Saints’ Day? Because the Polish opposition elite who live in Warsaw and most people all head to their hometowns, to light candles and clean the graves. The sly trick of wanting a city empty of opposition. Result: they all came back from their hometowns and even the President ordered the plane to turn around.

By Saturday it was reported that Prime Minister Donald Tusk had fled Warsaw and flown to the Baltic Sea city of Sopot. Another report has him hiding in the prime minister’s office. In any event he’s not been seen in public. I don’t think this is the action of a winner.

The U.S. Ambassador to Poland, Tom Rose, issued a diplomatically neutral statement:

“The events unfolding tonight at Poland’s Constitutional Tribunal are very serious indeed. We appear to be witnessing an unprecedented confrontation over the government’s use of state power and the independence and authority of a constitutional institution. Both sides offer sharply different accounts of what happened and why. Whatever the facts ultimately establish, thousands gathering outside the Tribunal make an already dangerous situation more combustible. The last thing Poland needs is a confrontation that spirals into something far worse. America is on Poland’s side. It is not our place to judge or interfere in its internal affairs. Our concern is for the stability, security, and democratic future of a country we are proud to call our friend and ally. I hope everyone involved — government officials, law enforcement, and demonstrators alike, to take a deep breath, and don’t take any action that could provoke violence or further escalation. Americans and U.S. President Donald Trump care deeply about this country, its democracy, and its future. But Poland’s strength ultimately must come from within — from its people, its institutions, and their shared commitment to the rule of law. Poland has come too far and accomplished too much to let political differences, no matter how strongly felt, put any of that at risk.”

Why do I think the EU has suffered a major blow with Nawrocki’s bold counteroffensive? Here’s how the prime minister of Slovenia details the EU’s work elsewhere in Europe to sustain its autocratic control:

When we were deciding to join the EU, no one imagined that in any of its member states or in the Union as a whole it would be possible without consequences:

1. To annul presidential elections (Romania);

2. To abolish an informational program on the national RTV (Hungary);

3. To send police to the Constitutional Court (Poland);

4. Three weeks before the elections to send the leader of the polling party to prison (Slovenia);

5. To occupy the national RTV with police and replace the management (Poland);

6. To terminate the mandate of the national RTV leadership and carry out a purge of employees (Slovenia);

7. To send members of the previous government to prison without the possibility of defense (Hungary);

8. To grant nearly a million citizenships to illegal migrants through an expedited process (Spain);

9. To shut down a new Nuclear Power Plant and build a gas pipeline to Russia (Germany);

10. To tax carbon energy sources while simultaneously closing NPPs and relocating industry to countries with low environmental standards under the pretense that this is how we save the planet.

An EU has emerged that must save itself from itself.

Jacob Reynolds adds to the Slovenian indictment of the EU’s overreaching:

You can cancel an election and ban the winner from running (Romania), you can ban your opponents from ever running again (Hungary), you can threaten to ban the main opposition party and subject it to relentless investigations by the secret police (Germany), you can threaten a ban on the leading presidential candidate and make them wear an ankle monitor (France), every member of your circle can be investigated for corruption (Spain), you can try and cancel local elections because you will lose them (Britain), and you can storm the constitutional court with riot police because you want to control it (Poland).

You can just do all these things. The secret is you just have to be on the right side of the European Commission.

A French poster, Brivael, who, in my view, regularly hits things on the mark, details what ironically is called the “rule of law” in Europe these days.

Tusk’s first move as prime minister was to take over the country’s public broadcasting system by replacing its leadership, instead of passing a media law. When that move was blocked he liquidated public TV. When the Constitutional Tribunal ruled against his government, he stopped recognizing its rulings. “Tusk himself said openly that restoring the rule of law would sometimes require decisions that would not fully meet the criteria of legality.” The EU partnered with him by freezing billions of EU funds under a conservative government, restoring them only when Tusk was in office.

It’s a nasty European habit:

In Europe, the rule of law is no longer a principle. It is a label. When a conservative government reshapes the courts, it’s an assault on democracy. When a pro-Brussels government ignores a court, it’s “restoring the rule of law.”

It isn’t only Poland. In Romania in December 2024, the Constitutional Court annulled the first round of a presidential election after the wrong candidate came first. In France, a TV channel, C8, lost its broadcasting license in 2025, and this week a member of parliament declared that shutting down CNEWS, the most-watched news channel in the country, is “a priority.” In Germany, domestic intelligence labeled the main opposition party extremist. In Brussels, the Digital Services Act gives unelected commissioners the power to fine platforms up to 6% of global revenue, and its first fine ever went to X, with more investigations into “disinformation” still open.

He concludes that the reason that the U.S. is “the first power on earth” is because we built our “entire system on a radical idea: the individual comes before the state,” protecting speech and property. Reviewing Democratic Party actions like leaning on social media platforms to censor speech, proposing to tax unrealized gains, and packing the Supreme Court, he urges us all: ”Keep your First Amendment, Keep your property… Vote on Tuesday.”

Do it or people here like Ursula von der Leyen will be taping your mouths shut, rifling through your things and confiscating whatever they wish to, and controlling all human activity under a variety of stupid ideas until our economy is in stasis and our streets overrun with low-IQ third-world thugs on the dole.

Europe’s Crisis of Civilization

Riots, Demographic Decline, and the Loss of National Purpose

Europe’s crisis is no longer an abstraction. It is visible in the streets of its great cities, where public disorder, economic frustration, demographic decline, and questions of national identity increasingly collide.

In France, demonstrations in October brought hundreds of thousands into the streets. Reports described fires and damage in Limoges and Bordeaux, attacks on public buildings in Marseille, and clashes with police in Paris. In Italy, violent confrontations in Milan included stone-throwing near the Duomo and police use of tear gas; clashes were also reported in Bologna and other northern cities.

Europe’s defenders of the status quo may insist that each episode is isolated, each smashed window an exception, each confrontation merely the inevitable friction of democratic life. That is precisely how decline becomes normalized: a city burns, public authority retreats, and the political class offers another round of explanations instead of a reckoning.

A civilization does not have to fall in a single dramatic instant. It can erode street by street, as citizens lose faith that the state can maintain order, preserve a common inheritance, or persuade the next generation that their country is worth sustaining.

The Question of National Identity

Europe’s political class has spent years treating the defense of national identity as an embarrassment, border enforcement as cruelty, and demands for public order as extremism. The result is a crisis of authority. When citizens watch their cities descend into disorder while their leaders lecture them about tolerance, they are entitled to ask: whose interests does the state exist to serve?

President Trump has been blunt about Europe’s predicament, warning that it must “straighten out their act” and arguing for stronger enforcement against unauthorized immigration. In France, National Rally leader Jordan Bardella has condemned the government’s response to disorder, while Marine Le Pen has declared that the state has “lost control of everything.” Italy’s Giorgia Meloni has insisted that the right to demonstrate does not confer a right to turn cities into battlegrounds.

The point is that Europe’s political class has lost the will to defend the foundations of national life. Uncontrolled immigration, failing integration, declining birth rates, and the erosion of public authority have become intertwined challenges that European leaders can no longer afford to ignore. A nation that refuses to control its borders, enforce its laws, or preserve its national identity risks surrendering the very conditions that make self-government possible.

Borders are not relics of an unenlightened age. They are the physical expression of a people’s right to determine its collective future. Europe must stop confusing compassion with abdication. Governments should enforce immigration law, accelerate the lawful removal of those without a right to remain, and ensure that serious criminal offending carries the consequences prescribed by law.

National identity is not a biological test. It is a shared inheritance of history, institutions, laws, and obligations. But that inheritance cannot survive if political leaders refuse to defend it. Integration must mean more than occupying the same territory: it must involve respect for the country’s laws, constitutional institutions, and civic traditions.

A Continent Growing Older

Europe’s crisis is also demographic. The European Union’s fertility rate fell to approximately 1.34 births per woman in 2024, far below the roughly 2.1 births associated with long-term population replacement. An aging population places mounting pressure on pensions, healthcare, public finances, and the working-age population.

The economic case for mass immigration is rapidly weakening in the age of artificial – super – intelligence. For decades, Europe’s political class has justified importing workers as an economic necessity. But AI and robotics are poised to replace vast amounts of human labor, challenging the assumption that prosperity requires a constantly expanding workforce. Europe should prepare for an economy in which machines perform tasks once reserved for people—not import ever-larger populations to fill jobs that technology may soon eliminate. Its priorities should be technological leadership, domestic prosperity, and control over its own borders.

The Choice Europe Can No Longer Postpone

Europe must secure its borders, reverse its demographic decline, restore public order, and recover the conviction that its civilization is worth preserving. These are not marginal policy preferences. They are questions of national survival.

A nation that cannot control who enters its territory, enforce its laws, encourage the formation of families, or transmit its inheritance to the next generation is surrendering the foundations of its own continuity. Governments must enforce immigration law, accelerate lawful removals of those without a right to remain, and confront demographic decline as a strategic national challenge.

Europe must reject the fiction that national identity is an obstacle to be overcome. A nation is a historical community, bound together by institutions, traditions, laws, and obligations. Integration requires respect for that inheritance. Sovereignty means having the authority—and the will—to defend it.

The riots are a warning of what happens when public authority weakens and national purpose fades. Europe’s leaders can continue managing the symptoms of decline, or they can confront its causes. They must decide whether Europe intends to remain the author of its own future—or become the passive administrator of its disappearance.

French Mayor Calls for Discussing ‘Great Replacement’ to Become a Crime

Ali Rabeh. Wikimedia Commons, Ugo Bernalicis, CC-BY-3.0

A leading leftist mayor in France has called on the government to outlaw public debate of the “Great Replacement”, thereby potentially turning large sections of the native population into thought criminals.

The Moroccan-heritage mayor of the multicultural Paris suburb of Trappes, Ali Rabeh, accused the so-called “far-right” of being responsible for the shooting which occurred in his city earlier this month, claiming that discussions surrounding the “Great Replacement” had radicalised the suspected shooter, who killed one and injured five others in an alleged retaliation against ethnic and religious minorities for the previous month of riots and looting.

Appearing on France Inter on Friday, Mayor Rabeh said, according to Le Journal du Dimanche, that the 1881 law on press freedom could be amended to include penalties for “those who have presented a group of people, because of their origin, their belonging to a religion, an ethnicity or a so-called race as actors in a replacement process.”

“I think the law needs to be toughened,” he said, claiming that the “provisions preventing incitement to racial hatred” are “insufficient.”

The term was originally coined by French philosopher Renaud Camus, who argued that elites in Western societies viewed their citizens as interchangeable economic units that could be replaced by cheaper migrant labour with little consequence.

Mayor Rabeh specifically pointed to presidential candidate Éric Zemmour, complaining that despite having been convicted for inciting racial hatred, he is “still invited to almost every talk show to spew his hatred and venom without being threatened with anything other than a fine, which for him is insignificant.”

Zemmour, a leading proponent of re-migration in the country, responded: “The Gulag is on the march. Here is the project of their socialist-Islamic Republic.”

The proposal was also criticised by National Rally president Jordan Bardella — the current favourite to become the next prime minister of France — who remarked that the move would “criminalise the feelings of at least 60 per cent of the French, who observe a ‘profound demographic transformation.’ Unless it’s to celebrate it, of course.”

Indeed, a survey from the Institut français d’opinion publique (Ifop) earlier this year found that six in ten French people believe that the French are being “progressively replaced by non-European populations, primarily from the African continent.”

Among those who agreed with the sentiment, 66 per cent said it was entirely bad, compared with 21 per cent who were neutral, and nine per cent who thought it was a good thing.

A report from the Immigration and Demography Observatory (OID) in Paris in September found that if immigration levels continue at their current pace, the native French population — defined merely as those whose grandparents were born in the country — are set to become a minority in their own country by around 2050.

Additionally, the report forecasts that if immigration remains steady, people of non-European extraction would become the majority by the mid-2070s.

As opposed to other Western countries, the “Great Replacement” has also been promoted by the far-left, which, rather than dismissing it as a so-called conspiracy theory, has simply proclaimed it to be a good thing.

Indeed, presidential candidate and the leader of the far-left France Insoumise party (France in Rebellion/LFI), Jean-Luc Mélenchon, has hailed the Great Replacement and the formation of a “New France”. Mélenchon, who often complains about  “ugly” white France, has previously admitted that the hard left cannot rely on the rural, white working class to support socialism.

Others within his party have also embraced the concept, including MP Clémence Guetté, who boasted in June that efforts to preserve the native white population had failed, declaring in the National Assembly: “You have lost the racist ideological battle. Today, one in three French people is already linked to immigration.”

Isolated PM Tusk Rules Out Compromise as Council Condemns Attempted Coup

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk
Donald Tusk/X

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk has defiantly rejected any compromise over the attempted takeover of the Constitutional Tribunal, despite mounting criticism from his right-wing opposition and growing divisions within his own governing coalition. In a televised address on Saturday evening, 31 October, Tusk defended Friday’s attempted judicial coup carried out by pro-Tusk judges at the court, while two of his coalition partners engaged in emergency consultations with President Karol Nawrocki to resolve the constitutional crisis.

‘In certain matters there can be no compromise,’ Tusk declared, accusing Nawrocki and the opposition Law and Justice (PiS) party of destroying the rule of law. He insisted that the newly elected judges were legally entitled to assume their duties and that police had merely protected them from aggressors. Tusk also suggested that those challenging his government’s actions were benefiting from—of course—Russian interference. He nevertheless announced no new constitutional reform initiative.

Meanwhile, the Parliamentary Council linked to Nawrocki has formally condemned Friday night’s attempted takeover, describing it as an ‘unlawful coup against a constitutional organ of the state’.

The council, chaired by Deputy Sejm Speaker Marcin Horała, adopted the declaration during an extraordinary meeting on Saturday attended by presidential minister Adam Andruszkiewicz. It accused individuals acting without legal authority of receiving support from state security services in their attempt to seize control of the Constitutional Tribunal.

The declaration warned that accepting such actions would exclude Poland from the ranks of civilized Western democracies. It also condemned attempts to undermine the president’s constitutional prerogatives, calling for respect for the separation of powers and judicial independence.

The crisis has also exposed divisions within Tusk’s governing coalition. Deputy Prime Minister and Polish People’s Party (PSL) leader Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz met Nawrocki alongside Deputy Sejm Speaker Piotr Zgorzelski, emphasizing constitutional order, political stability and national security.

Poland 2050 leader Szymon Hołownia also attended the consultations, calling Friday night’s events ‘shameful’ and urging Nawrocki and Tusk to negotiate a constitutional reset. Hołownia expressed serious legal reservations about the suspension of the Tribunal’s leadership, while stopping short of calling it a coup.

By contrast, Tusk’s Civic Coalition refused to participate in the presidential consultations, while the Left also rejected Nawrocki’s initiative.

Hard-right Konfederacja went further, demanding snap parliamentary elections. Following talks with Nawrocki, its leaders Sławomir Mentzen and Krzysztof Bosak proposed terminating the mandates of all 15 Constitutional Tribunal judges and electing replacements by a three-fifths parliamentary majority.

Bosak also demanded a parliamentary vote to shorten the Sejm’s term, challenging Tusk’s coalition partners to demonstrate whether their criticism of the government’s actions would translate into political consequences.

Meanwhile, left-wing opposition party Razem leader Adrian Zandberg proposed a comprehensive constitutional reset, further broadening political pressure for institutional reform.

Saturday’s developments have left Tusk increasingly isolated in his uncompromising position. While Nawrocki has brought representatives from across the political spectrum to the negotiating table, the prime minister has offered no concessions, leaving Poland’s constitutional confrontation unresolved and exposing growing disagreements within his own parliamentary majority.

His remarks fall awkwardly short of calming a situation described by many as bringing the country to the brink of civil conflict. Instead, as has increasingly become the reflex of mainstream EU leaders facing domestic crises, Tusk pointed to Russia as a source of Poland’s deepening confrontation.

WATCH: ‘Those who forced COVID jabs must be held accountable,’ says UK’s Rupert Lowe

Official portrait of Rupert Lowe MP. Wikimedia Commons, ©House of Commons / Laurie Noble, CC-BY-3.0

A leading British MP has demanded that justice be done on behalf of those who suffered during the so-called COVID emergency.

Rupert Lowe, a member of British Parliament and founder of “Restore Britain,” a party founded to protect British culture and restore Christian principles, argued this week that “those who forced the COVID vaccine on our healthy population must finally be held accountable.”

“The COVID lockdowns with the darkest period in recent British history, bar none,” said Lowe.

“Our freedoms were stripped away in ways most of us never imagined possible, and alongside all that came extraordinary pressure on millions of people to take the COVID vaccine — pressure from politicians, employers, media institutions, everything everywhere.”

Lowe said that he is particularly concerned about how the required COVID jab impacted children and young adults.

“COVID posed very different risks to different people.  An elderly vulnerable person faced a very different calculation from a healthy 25-year-old. In fact, they could not have been more different,” he stated.

“The 25-year-old was at no risk whatsoever. They were more likely to drown to death than have serious issues with COVID, yet so much of the messaging treated vaccination as though it were the same decision for everyone.”

“Why?  Why were people asking questions treated with such hostility?” he asked. “Why were people who refused a medical intervention made to feel like social pariahs?”

“For the overwhelming majority, the risk of severe COVID illness was non-existent. It was a cold. There was no threat at all,” Lowe noted.

“The facts are quite clear. We do know that cases of myocarditis and pericarditis occurred following COVID vaccinations, particularly amongst adolescent and young adult males. Millions of healthy young men and women should never have been forced to take that vaccination, and those responsible for that decision must be held accountable,” he declared.

Lowe pointed a finger at Nadeem Zahawi, the Conservative government’s vaccine minister at the time . Zahawi is now with Reform UK.

“He stated that children 12 to 15 could receive the COVID vaccine even where their parents objected. A 12-year-old could take this vaccine against their parents’ wishes,” said Lowe. “Think about that. 12-years-old.”

“And then came vaccine passports, again forced through Reform Zahawi,” he added.

“I found the entire concept morally repugnant. It was criminal,” said Lowe. “The idea that the state could make access to ordinary parts of life dependent on disclosing your medical status — that is not how a free country should operate.”

“This cannot end with another speech about how badly things were handled. We all know that,” he continued. “There must be accountability.”

“There must be a full honest reckoning,” he continued. “Questions about pandemic censorship and conflicts of interest demand answers, too. Who decided which questions the public was allowed to ask? Who profited from the answers? These are questions any healthy democracy should ask.”

“The government has accepted that the reform is needed, but it has offered no timetable and no detail.  Those who have been injured by these vaccines cannot be left waiting any longer.”

“The scheme needs an overhaul,” said Lowe. “Nobody can be above the law.”

Lowe has also led the charge in Parliament to stem the tide against mass immigration and to hold the UK’s infamous “rape gang” members — disproportionately Muslim males of Pakistani heritage — and those in law enforcement who looked the other way, accountable.

“Restore Britain” aims to turn the ship of state around before the United Kingdom meets the same fate as the Titanic.

UK: West Saharan migrant charged with attempted rape and theft in Tyneside

Police said the alleged attack took place in the St Peter’s Road area of Wallsend
| GOOGLE

A man who identifies himself as being from Western Sahara has been charged with attempted rape, sexual assault and theft following an alleged attack on a woman in Tyneside.

Yassim Ahmed, 27, of no fixed abode, was arrested on Wednesday evening, October 28, after police received a report that a woman had been threatened and sexually assaulted in Wallsend.

The alleged incident took place in the St Peter’s Road area at around 8.45pm on Tuesday, October 27.

Ahmed was charged on Saturday and is due to appear at South East Northumberland Magistrates’ Court on Monday, November 2.

The woman is continuing to receive support from specially trained officers.

Police have urged the public not to speculate about the case or share unverified information online, warning that rumours could cause distress to those affected and potentially jeopardise court proceedings.

Western Sahara is a disputed territory in north-west Africa, bordering Morocco, Algeria and Mauritania.

It covers around 266,000 square kilometres but has a population of approximately 600,000 people, according to UN estimates for 2025.

The population of Western Sahara is predominantly Sahrawi, an Arab-Berber people.

Formerly a Spanish colony, Western Sahara has been the subject of a decades-long dispute between Morocco, which controls most of the territory, and the pro-independence Polisario Front, which seeks to establish an independent Sahrawi state.

The conflict has also displaced large numbers of Sahrawis, many of whom live in refugee camps in neighbouring Algeria.

Ontario Bus Driver Dismissed After Wearing Pink Schoolgirl Uniform On Duty, Naming Bus “The Lolita Line” Files Discrimination Complaint

A former school bus driver in Ontario, Canada, has filed a human rights complaint after being dismissed from his job for wearing a pink schoolgirl uniform while on duty and calling his bus “the Lolita Line.” The driver, who has only been identified by his initials – L.Z. – filed for a publication ban to protect his identity because he claims he is concerned about transphobic backlash.

The incident with the driver first came to light in June of last year when a video taken by local parents began circulating on social media, which Reduxx traced back to St. Michael the Archangel Elementary in Woodbridge, Ontario. In the video, L.Z. was being confronted by a small group of parents who were concerned about his conduct while on duty. Throughout the interaction, L.Z. was standing half-inside of his bus, and was seen wearing a pink-and-white version of a stereotypical Japanese schoolgirl uniform, complete with an exposed midriff, short skirt, and long white stockings.

But it was more than just L.Z.’s attire that raised parents’ eyebrows. In the video, a man can be heard asking the driver “why do you call your bus the Lolita Line,” referencing a piece of paper L.Z. had stuck to his windshield declaring the name of his bus as “Lolita Line.”

The term “Lolita” is associated with a Japanese subculture inspired by Victorian dress and doll-like femininity, but also carries broader cultural associations with the sexualization of young girls. The controversy stems partly from its namesake, Vladimir Nabokov’s novel Lolita, which depicts the sexual exploitation and abuse of a young girl by an adult man. The term has also become associated with certain forms of Japanese anime and manga that portray young female characters in highly sexualized, sometimes pornographic ways, and has raised concerns about the normalization of child sexual objectification.

Following widespread outrage, the York Catholic District School Board issued an apology to parents and notified the public that L.Z. had been removed from the route.

“Dear Families of St. Michael the Archangel CES, We are aware of a social media video showing an interaction that occurred last Friday at our school between a bus driver and parents,” the e-mail read. “Third-party companies provide school busing in Ontario. YCDSB staff quickly brought this matter to the bus driver’s employer, and the company has informed us that this driver will no longer be providing student transportation to St. Michael the Archangel CES. The safety and well-being of our students and staff is the top priority of St. Michael the Archangel CES, so we wanted to provide you with this information. If your child has any questions or would like to discuss this matter, please let us know or encourage them to come to the office.”

But the story did not end after it faded from the news cycle. L.Z. is apparently pursuing a human rights complaint against the York Catholic District School Board and his former employer Landmark Bus Lines, claiming his dismissal was the result of anti-trans discrimination.

L.Z. filed the complaint on March 16, 2026, at the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario, alleging “discrimination with respect to employment because of ethnic origin, gender identity, and sex contrary to the Human Rights Code.”

According to a new column from Jamie Sarkonak at the National Post, L.Z.’s complaint only came to light because he also pushed for a publication ban. Sarkonak notes that unlike some other Canadian provinces, the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario does not publish information on its upcoming hearings on its website, so had L.Z. not pursued this publication ban, his case would have largely slipped under the radar completely.

However, the Tribunal granted L.Z. his requested publication ban on October 13 and published its decision online, alerting journalists like Sarkonak of the case’s existence.

In the decision, the Tribunal confirms L.Z. identifies as a “transgender woman,” a detail that had previously been contested by some trans activists after the video first went viral last year.

“The basis for the applicant’s request for anonymization is that she is a transgender woman. The applicant pleads that the events in the Application have garnered negative media attention, and the applicant has faced threats to her safety and discriminatory labels due to transphobic stereotypes,” the Tribunal’s decision reads, granting L.Z. anonymity and a partial sealing order related to his “… name, address, date of birth, social insurance number, and … city/town of residence.”

While it is currently unclear what L.Z. is demanding from the York Catholic District School Board and Landmark Bus Lines, the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario is known for its particularly liberal stances, even by Canadian standards.

If the tribunal finds that an employer discriminated against a former employee, it can order financial compensation for lost wages, employment benefits, bonuses and other expenses resulting from the discrimination, as well as damages for injury to the person’s dignity, feelings and self-respect. Beyond monetary compensation, the tribunal can also order other remedies, potentially including reinstatement to the former position, changes to workplace policies and mandatory human rights training.
