Berlin Senate Obsessed with “Right-Wing Extremism”: No Lessons Learned After January Blackout

Illustration AI generator

The Berlin Senate did not invest a single euro in prevention projects against left-wing extremism from 2021 to 2025, while the same period saw around €16.7 million spent on combating “right-wing extremism” and €2.7 million on religiously motivated extremism.

For 2026, the Senate plans to allocate more than €4.1 million to combat “right-wing” extremism—a 6.3% increase compared to 2025—while funding for religiously motivated projects will decrease by over 5%. Once again, left-wing extremism prevention projects will receive exactly zero euros.

This long-standing neglect comes amid a rising wave of left-wing violence in Berlin. According to preliminary data from the Berlin Senate, politically motivated left-wing crimes nearly doubled in 2025 compared with 2024, rising from 123 to 220 incidents, with 872 left-wing offenses registered overall. Religious extremist offenses also rose, reaching a record 508 cases.

The dangers of inaction were starkly illustrated on January 3, 2026, when high-voltage cables in the southwestern district of Steglitz-Zehlendorf were deliberately set on fire. Tens of thousands of households and businesses were affected: around 45,000 households and 2,200 businesses lost electricity, forcing schools and hospitals to close. Power was fully restored by January 7th, according to Berlin’s Senator for Economic Affairs, Franziska Giffey.

The attack, claimed online by a group calling itself the Vulkangruppe (‘Volcano Group’), was identified by authorities as a known left-wing extremist organisation. Interior officials described the incident as an act of left-wing terrorism. Barbara Slowik, Berlin’s police president, said the attack underscored a real and ongoing danger from loosely connected far-left networks targeting essential services. She urged institutions and the public to prepare for the possibility of further sabotage.

Chancellor Friedrich Merz (CDU) commented for the first time only 127 hours after the blackout began, calling it an “attack” and praising the crisis management by local authorities, including the deployment of the Bundeswehr and other emergency services. He stopped short of explicitly blaming left-wing extremism or terrorism for the arson.

The Senate’s approach has drawn criticism from AfD MP Jeannette Auricht. She pointed out that the complete inaction on left-wing extremism, which has manifested in attacks like the January blackout, is “frightening.”

SPD Senator Cansel Kiziltepe, responsible for extremism prevention through the State Anti-Discrimination Office and the Senate Department for Labour, Social Affairs, Equality, Integration, Diversity and Anti-Discrimination, has long been seen as a left-wing hardliner. For years, her administration has financed numerous left-wing NGOs with millions in public funds. Meanwhile, no public statements from Kiziltepe have addressed the ongoing series of left-wing extremist attacks.

WALES: Pedophile Drag Queen Died While Raping A Dog, Inquest Reveals

A drag queen with a prior conviction for the rape of a child died while engaging in an act of bestiality, according to a recent inquest into the cause of death. The death of Darren Moore in early 2023 spurred Cardiff City Council and South Wales Police to shut down roads in order to accommodate a lavish funeral procession that took place in the city center.

Moore was found dead in a secluded car park dressed in full drag on the night of January 22, 2023. The convicted pedophile, who performed under the moniker Crystal Couture and previously made jewellery featured on RuPaul’s Drag Race, had been leaving a nightclub in Cardiff.

Despite Moore having been convicted of four counts of rape on a boy, local authorities shut down three busy roads in the city center to make way for a funeral procession consisting of horse-drawn glass-walled carriage and mourners. Taxis, buses, and delivery vehicles were impacted, with those not involved in the cortege being told to vacate the area by 11:20 a.m and steer clear until 1 p.m local time.

Following his death, police also ordered an investigation into the circumstances surrounding his passing. The inquest has now revealed that Moore expired shortly after engaging in sexual activity with a stranger and his pet dog.

The Daily Star reports that the police inquest resulted in a statement made by the last man to have seen Moore alive that night. The man, who remains anonymous, told law enforcement that he had been walking his dog in the early hours of the morning when he was approached by Moore, who solicited him for sexual activity.

The man accompanied Moore to the car park, but said he “lost interest” when Moore began to engage in intercourse with his dog. The witness told police that his dog had tried to join in, though he had tried to “shoo” the animal away. However, Moore took it upon himself to participate in bestiality.

He said: “Who would think somebody wants to have sex with a dog but apparently he did. I was told to leave him be. Because it was consensual and desired, I let him do what he was asked to do.

“I had never seen something like that before. I could have stopped it and I should have stopped it but I didn’t.”

DNA tests conducted during the inquest revealed “human and non-human” semen inside Moore’s body, with the “non-human” semen matching the DNA of the witness’ dog. Moore was known to have an allergy to dogs, prompting coroner David Regan to explore a “pathological relation with sudden death potentially arising from the dog semen.”

Detective Superintendent Paul Raikes rejected the notion, saying the inquest was not able to “provide a cause of death and attribute it to that.”

The original medical cause of death was given as “sudden death in a man with bronchial asthma” who had consumed alcohol, and in a “temporal association with sexual activity, including anal intercourse.”

As previously revealed by Reduxx, Moore was once known as Darren Sewell, had previously been convicted of four counts of rape on a boy under the age of 14 in 1999, according to past news coverage by the Sun.

Moore spent three years in a Young Offenders’ Institution following his conviction. As a condition of his sentence, Moore was also handed a ban on having contact with children.

But in 2011, Moore was caught working with youth as a gymnastics and dance instructor and was convicted of breaching the lifetime order. He was sentenced to a three-year sex offender’s treatment program, a 24-month supervision order, 300 hours of community service, and a six-month curfew with an electronic tag.

Despite Moore’s conviction, he went on to become a popular drag queen in Cardiff, performing under the names Crystal Couture, CC Quinn and Dolly.

In 2018, Moore was booked to represent British Airways at a Pride Festival in Brighton. The company later had to distance themselves from him after his past conviction came to light, and clarified that part of the reason why they did not know was because of his name change. Two years later, Moore exhibited his hand-made drag jewelry at RuPaul’s Dragcon in London.

Notably, Moore was close friends with Sab Samuel, the founder and CEO Drag Queen Story Hour UK. Samuel performs under the drag name Aida H. Dee, and has been seen wearing Moore’s custom drag jewelry at events with children.

In January, following the announcement of Moore’s death, Samuel made multiple posts on his Facebook page mourning the loss of Moore despite knowing he was a convicted child sex offender.

Calling Moore an “an exuberant human being, taken from the world too early,” Samuel assisted in the fundraising efforts for Moore’s funeral by promoting the GoFundMe page made in his honor.

According to the GoFundMe page that had been promoted by Samuel, over £6,800 (approx. $8,200 USD) was raised to give Moore “the biggest send off,” more than doubling its initial goal.

Very few media outlets have mentioned Moore’s history, with most simply referring to him as a “well-known drag artist.” The Daily Mail was one of the few exceptions after it identified Moore as having been a convicted child sex offender following the announcement of his sudden and unexplained death.

In their coverage of Moore’s funeral procession, Wales Online failed to mention his criminal history, and instead focused on the traffic considerations, and the flowers being set at his casket’s glass-walled carriage by mourners.

Sweden: Arab charged after attempting to bite and gouge out eyes of male doctor for working with his wife

Photos: Police

A 36-year-old Lebanese man in Malmö has been charged with two counts of assault after allegedly attacking both his wife and a doctor at the health center where she works as a nurse.

According to prosecutors, cited by the Samnytt news outlet, the woman sought treatment at her own workplace in early December after suffering a head injury that required stitches in an alleged assault by her husband, 36-year-old Salaheddine Hamze. Colleagues became concerned when she arrived bleeding and in shock, although she initially denied that her husband was at fault. Investigators later concluded she had been struck with an object at home.

Roughly two weeks later, the man allegedly entered the same clinic and violently attacked a male doctor, reportedly over suspicions about his wife working with male colleagues. Witnesses told police the attacker punched and headbutted the doctor, wrestled him to the ground, bit him, and tried to force his fingers into the victim’s eyes. The doctor suffered bite wounds that later became infected, along with facial injuries.

During the incident, the suspect is alleged to have told his wife, “Wait until we get home,” as staff intervened. Police arrested him outside the clinic shortly afterward.

The defendant denies both assaults, claiming instead that the doctor attacked him and alleging colleagues were trying to persuade his wife to distance herself from him. He also denied assaulting his wife, telling police her injuries resulted from accidentally hitting her head on a cupboard.

Police officers noted that the woman appeared extremely frightened during questioning, and investigators suspect she may be living under severe domestic control. Evidence in the case suggests the husband monitored her phone use and restricted her contact with others, particularly men.

Despite the charges, prosecutors have not requested deportation, reportedly because the man has several children in Sweden.

Sweden is grappling with an identity crisis after decades of mass immigration have led to disintegrated societies and a rise in honor-related violence.

In September last year, a mother, father, and two adult children from a Palestinian family faced trial for unlawful deprivation of liberty after allegedly kidnapping their 20-year-old daughter and keeping her monitored because she wanted to integrate into Western society.

And in May, seven people were charged in connection with the suspected honor killing of a woman in Eskilstuna, Sweden, after she attempted to divorce her husband.

Honor-related child abductions of children at risk of becoming “too Westernized” have also risen significantly in recent years, often found back in their parents’ country of origin against their will.

The Swedish government has been seeking to implement changes to protect Swedish values and social cohesion. In October last year, Sweden’s Deputy Prime Minister Ebba Busch called for a nationwide ban on burqas and niqabs in all public places, saying the country must “wake up from its naivety” about Islamism.

“Islam must adapt in Sweden. You can be a proud Swedish Muslim, Christian, Jew, or atheist, but there are fundamental Swedish values that must apply to us all,” she said.

In the UK, a child at a primary school was branded a racist for refusing to take part in Ramadan

The child said – “Why do we have to do that? I’m not doing that. Do I have to? If I don’t will you make me?”

The school responded – “This will be added to your child’s behaviour record and the schools log of racist incidents”

Children are indoctrinated
If you refuse you will be punished

Bloodbath for Spanish Socialists in regional elections

Spain’s ruling Socialist Workers’ Party (PSOE) suffered a crushing setback in the snap regional elections in Aragón.

In the ballot yesterday, it slumped to one of its worst historical performance, losing ground amid a surge by the right-wing Vox party.

Provisional results from the Government of Aragón and the National Electoral Commission, with more than 98 per cent of votes counted, show the centre-right People’s Party (PP) emerging as the largest force with 26 seats in the 67-seat Cortes of Aragón. That is down two from its 2023 tally, despite topping the poll with around 34 per cent of the vote.

The PSOE, led by former minister Pilar Alegría, collapsed to 18 seats, down five, equalling its all-time low from 2015. It secured 24.3 per cent of the vote in what analysts describe as a humiliating defeat for Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez’s party.

Vox delivered the night’s clearest winner, more than doubling its representation from seven to 14 seats and claiming nearly 18 per cent of the vote, a sharp rise that cements its role as kingmaker in any right-wing coalition.

Regional party Chunta Aragonesista (CHA) also doubled its seats to six, capitalising on disillusionment on the Left, while smaller groups such as Aragón Existe held two and Izquierda Unida-Movimiento Sumar retained one.

The snap poll, called by PP regional President Jorge Azcón after budget gridlock, was intended to strengthen his position but instead left the PP even more reliant on Vox support to form a government.

In 2024, Vox had left the regional Aragón Governmeny, citing unhappiness with the lack of structural reforms within the government, although others saw it more as an electoral move.

Azcón declared victory, insisting the PP remained the only party capable of leading and vowing to begin investiture talks immediately. “We have won the elections and only the PP can form a government,” Azcón said, while acknowledging the need for alliances.

Alegría conceded the result was “not good” for the PSOE, framing it as evidence that the PP had become “even more hostage to the far right”.

Sánchez, speaking from Madrid, congratulated Azcón but insisted the PSOE would continue as “the only progressive alternative” nationally.

Vox leader Alejandro Nolasco hailed the outcome as a rejection of the “bipartisan scam”, positioning his party as the true driver of change on the Right.

The result in Aragón — often dubbed “Spain’s Ohio” for its role as a national bellwether — follows a similar PSOE rout in Extremadura in December 2025 and deepens pressure on Sánchez’s minority government in Madrid.

Spanish Socialists are weighed down by several major corruption scandals, economic concerns and migration debates, with the PSOE-led central government in Madrid recently deciding to legalise 500,000 migrants in a controversial move.

Aragón now faces coalition negotiations, with the PP-Vox axis appearing the most viable path to a stable majority, although talks could prove fraught given Vox’s demands on issues such as immigration and regional autonomy.

Enraged British King Charles and Prince William Evicted Disgraced Andrew from Royal Lodge in the Dark of the Night to Temporary Housing, While Boggy Marsh Farm Is Under Renovations

Randy Andy creeping over a woman laying down on the floor – Epstein files/DOJ

Charles and William have had more than enough of Andrew’s endless scandals.

The never-ending stream of damaging revelations about former Prince Andrew and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson has so enraged King Charles III and his heir Prince William that they reportedly brought forward Andrew’s move out of Royal Lodge by months.

The disgraced former Duke of York was reportedly sneaked out of the 30-room mansion in the dead of the night.

Andrew was reportedly ‘dispatched by car to the depths of Norfolk’ a week ago amid the Epstein scandal.

Page Six reported:

“’It was hastily arranged and done under the radar, leaving Royal Lodge staff to pack up what remains of Andrew’s belongings’, an insider told the outlet on Saturday of the move, which reportedly saw Andrew moving to temporary housing on Wood Farm at Sandringham in Norfolk.

[…] The decision was made by Prince William and King Charles on Sunday evening following an ‘urgent discussion’ at Sandringham.”

Andrew waves to a young woman from inside Epstein’s townhouse in NY.

After he got uprooted from Royal Lodge in secret, Andrew waits on renovations on a permanent residence at the much smaller and more humble March Farm.

“The BBC reported earlier this week that the former prince was seen in Windsor horseback riding on Monday near Royal Lodge, and caught by photographers waving at bystanders while driving away from Windsor Castle.

[…] ‘Andrew is having difficulty acknowledging reality and it was increasingly causing concern at the Palace – both as a sign of his mental state and because it wouldn’t play well with the public witnessing him still enjoying the trappings of royalty’.”

Jeffrey Epstein – or the decadence of the Western élite

Illustration
Epstein was not a solitary monster. He was a facilitator. A maître d’hôtel of nothingness. He organized the banquet for elites who no longer hungered for anything except confirmation that the rules do not apply to them.

by Giulio Meotti

It feels like reading “The Possibility of an Island” by Michel Houellebecq. If Balzac chronicled the rise and fall of the mercantile bourgeoisie, Houellebecq has become the cynical and disenchanted singer-the anatomist-of a West in dissolution and destined for a sort of perennial adolescence.

The novel tells of a sect that builds an isolated society around sexual hedonism, cloning, and the search for immortality. Epstein was familiar with the novel and recommended it, as a good student of transhumanism. Epstein was not just a reader of the book: he was its missed protagonist. He had an island; he wanted immortality through science and to clone himself through the girls he recruited. When the police knocked on his door, the novel was interrupted.

But the world Houellebecq describes has continued without him, and now we read the chronicle of that decaying world.

The Epstein scandal is not a matter of right or left: it is a “matter of class,” as the English journalist Mary Harrington explains. It involves an upper class that speaks the same language, frequents the same salons and islands, uses the same jets, has the same offshore accounts, and above all, shares the same fear: that of being forced to live the life they have imposed on others. An elite that no longer believes in anything except its own perpetuation.

Bankers, lawyers, politicians, music and movie stars. And scientists, such as the great Stephen Hawking, but also Ehud Barak, the Israeli son of a kibbutz who ended up counting money at the top of Tel Aviv’s most prestigious building, the Akirov Towers. There were also unexpected guests, such as Joanna Rubinstein, the Swedish director of the UN refugee agency (always watch out for humanitarians).

Gerard Baker, former editor of the Wall Street Journal, explains in today’s London Times: “They are a perfectly assembled representative sample of the elites who have exercised a decisive influence on our lives”. He is right.

The Epstein files contain many documents that could just be rumors and defamation. Anti-Semites see a Jewish conspiracy; Atlanticists see a Russian plot. And everyone else sees conspiracies within conspiracies, like a matryoshka doll. Drawing inspiration from Roman orgies, which accelerated the fall of Rome due to its decadence, some imagine Putin would have orchestrated Epstein’s orgies to realize his dream: to annihilate the West. That is too much, even for the former KGB.

If I had to find a common thread in this sordid story, gossip and sexual abuse aside, it is the contempt for democracy. What Epstein’s emails reveal is more than a scandal: it is the state of the Western world. A globalized aristocracy, without land or homeland, held together by money, sex, blackmail, and privilege, living above the law and suffrage-made of leaders who are nothing more than employees, docile intermediaries of a power that no longer needs them.

A world foreign to democracy, yet compromised up to its neck in the collapse of the West.

Now everyone is trying to turn the revelations into a scandal against their enemies. But it is clear that, at the level Epstein operated, political “parties” were not real. Epstein associated with the right as much as the left; Steve Bannon as Karp and Kathy Ruemmler, now at Goldman Sachs and a former advisor to Barack Obama. And then Trump and Clinton. There was also the former Norwegian Prime Minister Thorbjørn Jagland, from the committee that awards the Nobel Peace Prize. I think he is the most pathetic figure in the scandal.

Then there are Epstein’s relationships with the French cultural elite. One name above all: Jack Lang, mentioned 685 times in the correspondence, ten years as Minister of Culture, as many at the Ministry of Education, intellectual, socialist, worldly icon, today head of the Arab World Institute in Paris. Lang is the same person who signed an appeal in Libération, in which heavyweights of French culture asked to lower the age of sexual consent to 12.

Among the signatories were poet Louis Aragon, semiologist Roland Barthes, Marxist philosopher Louis Althusser, psychoanalysts Gilles Deleuze and Félix Guattari, psychology pioneer Françoise Dolto, Sartre, and Simone de Beauvoir. Anyone who knows anything about French culture should be left speechless.

Few remember Le Figaro describing an extraordinary evening: “Dozens of guests crowded into Place de l’Étoile, at the Hotel Landolfo Carcano, headquarters of the Qatar embassy. In the gold-paneled rooms with mosaics and frescoes, His Excellence Mohamed al-Kuwari honored cartoonist Jean Plantu and Amirouche Laïdi, president of the Averroes club, with the ‘Doha Arab Cultural Capital’ award. The ambassador rewarded André Miquel (famous Arabist of the Collège de France), Dominique Baudis (writer), Bernard Noël (famous art critic), and the poet Adonis. From former Minister of Culture Jack Lang to the founder of Nouvel Observateur Jean Daniel, everyone left with a check for 10,000 euros”.

An evening like that, neither Epstein nor Houellebecq could have organized.

Epstein was not a solitary monster. He was a facilitator. A maître d’hôtel of nothingness. He organized the banquet for elites who no longer hungered for anything except confirmation that the rules do not apply to them. A nihilistic superclass of transnational kleptocrats whose acolytes-served by Epstein in this occult market that seems straight out of the intellectual hallucinations of ‘68 philosophers-operated, and still operate, at a level where political principles simply have no role, let alone moral or spiritual ones.

While those in Epstein’s circle discussed cryogenics and artificial wombs, the rest of the West was filling up with another kind of flesh-that which arrives on immigration boats, with the blessing of many participants in the Epstein affair. European suburbs have become the mirror image of the Caribbean island: not an erotic paradise, but a hell of gang rapes, stabbings, and girls who can no longer walk alone at night.

There is no longer a distinction between paradise for the few and hell for everyone: it is just one large submerged continent. And there is a powerful group of people making this future a reality.

Meanwhile, Michel Houellebecq warns this week that, more than an island, our possibility is “civil war”. When the definitive novel on the collapse of Western civilization is written, Little Saint James island must find a place in a special chapter. Houellebecq is right: after the island, only the possibility of war remains. And the one I fear most is the one the West has declared against itself.

Spain Teetering on the Brink of Civil War? Sánchez’s Radical Left Regime Drowns in Corruption Scandals While Mass-Migrating the Nation – Echoes of 1936 Grow Louder

As of February 2026, Spain is staring into the abyss. Nearly a century after the brutal 1936-1939 Civil War – where half a million died amid priest tortures, church burnings, rapes, and mass executions on both sides – the country is fracturing again.

The socialist Pedro Sánchez and his far-left PSOE-Sumar coalition are pushing the nation toward chaos with unchecked corruption, radical ideology. And a reckless mass regularization of up to 500,000+ undocumented migrants.

The Spanish left never got over losing to Franco. That defeat festers like an open wound – a “betrayed revolution” myth passed down generations. Now, every judicial probe into their scandals is screamed as “lawfare” by the right-wing fascists, straight out of the pre-1936 playbook.

Sánchez’s crew even exhumed Franco’s remains in a symbolic grave-robbing flex. Mirroring the left’s historical corpse-desecration tactics.

Ideologically bankrupt since the USSR’s collapse, the Spanish left ditched Marxism for a toxic mash-up. Extreme environmentalism, cozying up to political Islam, open borders, blind backing for Palestine (with Second Deputy Prime Minister Yolanda Díaz’s face-twisting anti-Israel rants veering into outright antisemitism). It’s radicalism for radicalism’s sake – a desperate bid to stay relevant and in power.

A feast of corruption

And power? It’s rotting from the inside. The Koldo/Ábalos mega-scandal is exploding: rigged COVID mask contracts, kickbacks worth hundreds of millions. Ex-Transport Minister José Luis Ábalos (Sánchez’s former No. 3) and aide Koldo García are in pre-trial detention for criminal organization, bribery, influence peddling.

Santos Cerdán (ex-PSOE organizational secretary) is indicted too. Supreme Court preliminary hearing set for February 12, 2026 – they must show up in person. Witness Víctor de Aldama spilled on payoffs: €400k to Ábalos, €200k to Koldo, more to others.

It gets personal: Sánchez’s wife Begoña Gómez faces charges of influence peddling, corruption, and misuse of funds (probe extended to April 2026, possible jury trial). His brother David is hit with similar influence and malfeasance accusations. Multiple overlapping cases paint the Sánchez regime as Europe’s most corrupt.

To cling to power amid judicial heat and a shaky parliament, Sánchez consequently dropped a bombshell decree in January 2026: regularizing 500,000+ undocumented migrants (possibly more) who were in Spain before Dec. 31, 2025 – minimal residency proof, work permits from April onward.

Sold as “humanitarian” and economic boost for an aging population, critics (especially Vox) call it a massive pull factor that will overload services, strain budgets, and create de facto Islamic cultural zones. Spaniards are furious – feeling erased on their own soil.

Polarization is off the charts: verbal violence normalized, middle classes alienated, majority sensing decline and betrayal (echoing analyses like Military Strategy Magazine on civil war triggers). Vox surges as the anti-immigration, nationalist bulwark.

The ghosts of 1936 are stirring. A traumatized, idea-starved left radicalizes to survive – corruption, mass migration, historical revisionism. Spain shows every warning sign of crossing the point of no return.

Patriots, wake up. History doesn’t repeat exactly – but nightmares do. The West watches as another European nation slides toward the flames.

Anarchist Terrorists Suspected in Sabotage Strikes on Italy’s Rail Network Amid Olympics

Screengrab youtube

Far-left anarchist terrorists are suspected of a string of apparently coordinated sabotage attacks on Italian railway lines amid the opening of the Milan-Cortina Winter Olympic Games.

An investigation was launched by the Bologna prosecutor’s office, in conjunction with the DIGOS, Italy’s anti-terrorism police force, on Sunday morning into apparent infrastructure sabotage attacks that damaged rail lines in Bologna and Pesaro, disrupting trains across Italy.

According to a report from Corriere della Sera, investigators are currently considering it likely that anarchists were behind the attacks; however, there have yet to be any arrests or suspects publicly identified.

Prosecutors said that they are not ruling out any angle, including the potential of terrorist motivations.

Broadcaster RAI reports that a makeshift incendiary device was used to burn cables along the Bologna-Venice line near the Castel Maggiore station. A similar device that failed to trigger was found by forensic police on a line heading towards Ancona.

Meanwhile, a cabin used to operate a switch on the Ancona-Rimini line was struck in an apparent arson attack, requiring the local fire brigade to intervene.

The apparent coordination of the attacks suggests that a single group was behind the sabotage.

Italian Deputy Prime Minister Matteo Salvini said, “If it is confirmed that the disruption on the high-speed line is the result of a premeditated attack, on the first day of the Olympics, let’s just say that someone wants to harm Italy.”

The Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport said that it plans on seeking financial damages from the perpetrators, saying in a statement: “Regarding the synchronized sabotages of railway lines that took place yesterday that caused delays and inconvenience to thousands of passengers for whom an investigation for terrorism has been opened, the MIT specifies that, once those responsible have been identified, the ministry will submit a claim for compensation for the millions in damages perpetrated.

“A decisive action is ready to put an end to such actions of unacceptable gravity that only create inconvenience to millions of Italians.”

The attacks are reminiscent of a series of arson attacks on France’s high-speed railway network just before the 2024 Summer Olympic Games.

Then-Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin said that the sabotage strikes were like the work of the “ultra-left”; however, authorities have yet to arrest those responsible.

The attack on Italy’s railways also came as thousands of leftists protested in Milan on Saturday against the Olympics, with some radical climate activists accusing the Games of being “unsustainable”.
