Bild: “Bankrupt Germans sell your islands – Greeks fight back”

In fact, the German newspaper hosts statements by Panagiotis Lafazanis, Minister of Environment and Energy under Alexis Tsipras, who counters and believes that “the German government should impose extraordinary taxes on both citizens and businesses to solve the problem” cause of the problems in the German budget.

Mr Lafazanis also predicts that: “This will cause a crisis in Germany, but otherwise, the money will not be collected. Another solution would be to sell public property such as islands to raise large sums quickly.”

“If the Germans cannot control the situation, they will be forced to come under the troika’s supervision. Then they will be forced to find solutions,” continues the former minister, concluding: “Life is vindictive. Germany will now experience what it imposed on Greece. Germany threatens to lead Europe into a long-term crisis.”

‘Shoot them in the head!’ — Muslim councilor in Ireland calls for protesters of Dublin child stabbings to be executed

A Muslim councilor in Ireland has called for activists who rioted in Dublin last week after three children were stabbed by an Algerian migrant to be executed.

Azad Talukder, a councilor in Limerick for the co-governing Fianna Fáil party, made the remarks during a council meeting held on Monday where the civil unrest in the Irish capital was discussed.

“I strongly believe that this is not the face of Ireland. This is just some criminals looting the shops. I don’t think they follow any ideological purpose. They come to the streets and just rob. They should get punishment,” Talukder, originally from Bangladesh, told colleagues as cited by the Limerick Post.

“Not even an animal does this kind of thing,” he said, not in reference to the migrant who slaughtered three children and a female carer who sought to intervene in the massacre, but to the outraged protesters who took to the streets following the attack.

“It is very shameful and they should get public punishment. I’d like to see them shot in the head or bring the public in and beat them until they die,” Talukder added.

His remarks were leaped upon by fellow council members including Labour Party councilor Conor Sheehan who demanded he withdraw the inflammatory comments immediately.

“Okay, I can withdraw that. I just put my emotion only. I hope Conor Sheehan understands that is only an expression of my emotion,” he added.

Considerable condemnation has been afforded by politicians of the public response to the heinous attack outside a primary school in Dublin last Thursday with Ireland’s Prime Minister Leo Varadkar leading the criticism of what he regarded as people acting not out of patriotism but “hate”.

“We need to reclaim Ireland from the criminals who seek any excuse to unleash horror on our streets,” he added, again referring to individuals protesting against children being stabbed, not the attacker himself.

Varadkar doubled down on his administration’s commitment to its liberal migration policy in a speech the day after the attack, telling reporters that Ireland would be a “vastly inferior” place without immigrants.

He assured foreign nationals in the country that “what they witnessed yesterday is not reflective of the Irish people,” but a “tiny minority” of the country, and urged residents not to “allow the people who want to take the city away from us to think that they have succeeded.”

Muslim Cab Driver in Paris: ‘I Won’t Take You, You Dirty Jew’- “If I did take you, I would kill you, your wife, and your children”

An Israeli family — father, mother, and three children — on October 11 landed at Orly Airport in Paris on a flight from Tel Aviv. After retrieving their luggage at the carrousel, they patiently waited at the taxi stand, and when they finally reached the head of the line, they began to enter the lead taxi when the driver suddenly noticed something — the father’s kippah, most likely, or possibly her Orthodox wig, (if they were Orthodox) or both — that gave away the fact that they were Jewish, and he became furious. He screamed at them: “I’m not taking you — you dirty Jew.” More on his rage, and the consequences he now faces, can be found here: “‘I Am Not Taking You, Dirty Jew’: Paris Cab Driver Charged With Discrimination, Violent Threats,” by Ben Cohen, Algemeiner, November 24, 2023:

A taxi driver in Paris has been charged with discrimination and making death threats after he refused to drive a Jewish family who arrived on a flight from Israel at Orly Airport in the French capital.

French media reported on Friday that the family of two parents with their three children were subjected to vicious antisemitic abuse from the driver as they waited in a taxi line outside the airport after disembarking [from] a flight from Tel Aviv on Oct. 11 — four days after the Hamas pogrom in southern Israel in which more than 1,200 people were murdered.

As the family tried to enter the taxi, the driver told the father, “I am not taking you, dirty Jew.” He then added in both French and Arabic, “If I did take you, I would kill you, your wife, and your children.”

Well, that Muslim cabdriver certainly didn’t hold back. And thank god he did not, because with those words “if I did take you, I would kill you,” he has just made his own life very difficult.

A police investigation into the 28-year-old driver, who has not been named, was launched after the father reported his family’s ordeal to the local authorities. A report from the Paris Prefect of Police specified that he had not pursued a complaint “for fear of reprisals.”

The father won’t pursue a complaint because, quite sensibly, he’s afraid the cabdriver and other members of the Muslim tribe could come after him. But the police are a different matter. They know what happened, and they don’t need the father’s further participation to prosecute the cabdriver.

The driver appeared in a court in the Paris suburb of Creteil on Nov. 9. charged with making “repeated death threats” based on ethnicity and religion. His trial will not commence until May 6 next year.

One of the taxi companies which uses the driver’s services announced that he had been suspended.

The company, G7, said that while the incident at Orly was not the result of one of its bookings, it had suspended the driver “to show absolute firmness towards all forms of violence and discrimination.”…

How many other cab companies employ this Muslim cabdriver? What is keeping them from cutting ties with a driver who uses hate speech, and threatens to kill the entire family of this “dirty Jew” if he were to give them a ride? One hopes those other companies will soon follow the example of G7, depriving the cabdriver of most, if not all, of his custom.

At a time when antisemitism has been increasing at a dizzying and depressing rate in France, emanating almost entirely from its chief carriers, the Muslim migrants and citizens, it is good that the government promises to take a hard line in this case. When the Transport Minister, Clement Beaune, stresses the “gravity” of the incident — the refusal of a common carrier to take a passenger because of his ethnicity, and indulges in hate speech (“dirty Jew”), and even threatens to commit murder (“If I did take you, I would kill you, your wife, and your children”) — you know that a fitting, because severe, punishment is being prepared.

When Beaune promised that “we’re not going to let anything pass,” I take it that the offending cabdriver will have his commercial license revoked. That will end his career as a cabdriver. But never fear. There’s always street sweeping, garbage collecting, and halal butchering, jobs where no Jews will disturb his peace of mind.

The Sacking of a Beloved Texas Bishop – Pope Francis’ ideological offensive escalates

The dystopian 1907 classic novel, The Lord of the World, was written by the son of the Archbishop of Canterbury who became an Anglican priest and then converted to Catholicism. Monsignor Robert Hugh Benson sidestepped his own ascension to the Canterbury throne when his scandalous move to Rome laid the groundwork for the book that eerily reflects the world we live in today.

That world depicts the erosion of spirituality and the emergence of a new political environment where religion is abolished. This is a world where human freedom is restricted, and where the state creates a false religion based on the belief in Humanity rather than a transcendental God.

This new Church of Humanity comes complete with rituals that mirror Catholic liturgical life, since even the new government knows that people need some form of “worship.”

In Benson’s book, we read how Pope Silvester, the last pope of the Catholic Church, is forced to live in the Holy Land because Rome has been annihilated by the new government.

Benson writes,

“…Christianity had smouldered away from Europe like a sunset on darkening peaks; Eternal Rome was a heap of ruins; in East and West alike a man had been set upon the throne of God, had been acclaimed as divine. The world had leaped forward; social science was supreme; man had learned consistency; they had learned, too, the social lessons of Christianity apart from a Divine Teacher, or, rather, they said, in spite of Him. There were left, perhaps three millions, perhaps five, at the utmost ten millions throughout the entire inhabited globe who still worshipped Jesus Christ as God. And the Vicar of Christ sat in a whitewashed room in Nazareth, dressed as simply as his master, waiting for the end.”

A question arises: Did it ever occur to Benson while writing ‘Lord of the World’ to depict the Vicar of Christ as playing a part in the creation of the new Church of Humanity?

Would Benson have dared write about a compromised papacy?

Could he have even imaged a pope who elevated social issues and political ideology to the level of religious dogma?

If Benson had been able to psychically transport himself into the future and actually “see” a pope in the 21st century putting a pagan idol (Pachamama) near the altar of Saint Peter’s, would he have dared put that into print?

My guess is no, because even in the dystopian world of fictional narrative such an inclusion would have been perceived as somehow ‘sacrilegious.’

Fast forward to today’s bizarre landscape, where Pope Francis in many ways appears to be a participant in the campaign to reshape the Catholic Church in ways that would have shocked his namesake, Francis of Assai.

Francis, often categorized as the first woke pope in history, as well as the papal personification of the so-called ‘smorgasbord Catholic,’ has referred to American Catholics as being “too conservative, ideological and backwards.”

While there are certainly fringe groups in the United States that use traditionalism as an excuse for uncharitable attacks, it is Francis himself who is the master of ideology—that being the ideology of the totalitarian left on a far range of issues, from climate change (which he has elevated to the status of a new religious dogma on a par with the Immaculate Conception) to various pronouncements on migrants and illegal immigration.

Ideological Francis has stacked the College of Cardinals with clones of himself so that after his death the chances of a conservative being elevated to the chair of Peter will be close to minimal barring a great miracle.

This is the pope, after all, who says that atheists can go to heaven (a direct contradiction of Scripture), a statement that suggests that one needn’t stop being an atheist because, in the end, everybody winds up in the same place anyway (heaven).

This is the pope who advises against evangelization or converting anyone to Christianity or Catholicism; the pope who engineered the Synod on Synodality to further reform the Church and possibly set the groundwork for rewriting the Catholic catechism; the same pope who rang an alarm bell when the Catholic bishops in Germany stated that the German Synod will make the rules for the German Church going forward.

This alarmist reaction is odd, considering that it was Francis himself who set the Synod in motion, in effect releasing the elaborate machinery of radical reform throughout the global Church.

Has Francis forgotten that he is the one who let the horses out of the stable?

The Synod toyed with all sorts of innovations, such as women deacons, even though everywhere where women have ascended to high places in Christian denominations, those churches have been drawn into woke revisionist Christianity.

It is quite probable that as the Synod resumes in 2024, it will begin to lay the groundwork for the rewriting of the Catholic catechism.

One example: The catechism states that acting out on same sex attraction is sin, whereas the Synod suggests that blessing same sex unions may be the way to go.

Which is it? Either the catechism got it wrong all these years or the Synod is awash in heterodoxy.

The case of Bishop Joseph Strickland of Tyler, Texas is another example of Francis’ ideological mindset.

It is assumed that one reason Francis fired Strickland was the bishop’s unwillingness to support the Synod. Strickland made it clear that the work of the Synod was leaning in the direction of dismissing what the Church has taught for 2,000 years,

Strickland’s decision not to enforce Francis’ anti-Latin Mass document, Traditionis Custodes, also put him on the Vatican’s radar.

It didn’t help that Strickland also condemned the covid vaccines in the U.S. as being “abortion tainted,” because pharmaceutical companies used cell lines that could be traced to aborted fetuses from the 1970s and 1980s.

In firing Bishop Strickland, Francis leveled no formal charges, which tells us that the reason was ideological.

At an Oct. 31 public gathering in Rome, Strickland read from a letter he attributed to a “dear friend,” that accused Pope Francis of being a “usurper of Peter’s chair.” Later, the bishop came out and said that Pope Francis was supporting an “attack on the sacred.”

On June 19-24, Strickland was subjected to an apostolic visitation by Bishop Dennis J. Sullivan of Camden, NJ and retired Bishop Gerald F. Kicanas of Tucson, Arizona.

Apostolic Visitations might be compared to a benign FBI raid.

Strickland recalls that visitation as being cordial, based as it was on “administrative issues”—which in the end proved to be a lie, since the Tyler diocese was thriving.

Ironically, Strickland is not a doctrinaire traditionalist at all but celebrates the Latin Mass as well as the Novus Ordo Vatican II rite.

In a recent interview, Strickland said that he did not want to jeopardize the Catholics in his diocese who found greater substance and spirituality in the old rite—a rite that has not been corrupted with innovations that many perceive to be “Protestant.”

A possible silver lining in the firing of Strickland is that it outed Francis as an arch enemy of tradition.

Strickland, after all, didn’t molest altar boys or girls; he didn’t steal from diocesan funds, he didn’t preach heresy.

His dismissal has caused reactions to pour in from all quarters of the globe: a protest march through the streets in downtown Tyler in support of Strickland; a protest prayer meeting (the Rosary) outside the three day 2023 Baltimore US Bishops Conference in early November; scores of petitions, pod casts and videos condemning this decision of the pope’s even as the latter moves forward with robotic swiftness in eliminating perceived traditionalist enemies.

Ironically, the pope’s social justice statements and his crackdown on all things “historically Catholic” most appeal to Catholics with the loosest connections to the Church, the Catholics who no longer attend Mass and who identify as ‘cultural Catholics’ only.

As Ross Douthat explained in the New York Times,

“[Liberal Catholic pronouncements] still fail to generate the level of commitment that induces men and women to give their lives in service to the faith.”

What this points to, Douthat adds, is that “the papacy’s claim to be a rock of unchanging teaching has more often than not been just a claim.”

Euro MPs want regulation of music streaming to ‘protect diversity’

Nosta Lgia

The European Union must regulate online music streaming platforms to “protect diversity”, members of the European Parliament have claimed.

MEPs sitting on the Committee on Culture and Education bemoaned the lack of bureaucratic influence in the sector, voting in favour of demanding EU action by 23 votes to 3.

“Even though streaming platforms dominate the music market … there are no EU rules regulating the sector,” politicians complained.

Representatives also alleged that smaller music creators on such platforms are not being given enough financial support and want the EU to force streaming giants to increase payments to artists.

They added that the “recommendation algorithms” used by those platforms must be made “transparent”, as well as be redesigned to promote “diversity” and European music artists.

MEPs said this could be achieved via the use of a mandatory “diversity indicator”, which would force music streaming services to increase the “array of genres and languages available and the presence of independent authors”.

Speaking of the demands, left-wing MEP Ibán García Del Blanco said EU regulation was needed as smaller musicians on music streaming platforms were not able to earn enough to make ends meet.

“The majority of authors and performers, even those with hundreds of thousands of reproductions each year, do not receive remuneration that allows them to afford a decent living,” he said.

The Spanish politician said it was now “paramount” for the EU to examine making top-down changes to the “revenue distribution model that streaming services” as well as “explore ways of promoting cultural diversity”.

Such demands for top-down regulation to solve perceived economic and social problems are not unusual.

Another committee recently passed a report demanding the regulation of “metaverses” and “virtual worlds”, despite such systems not being in mainstream use at this stage.

Both reports are also similar in that they are own-initiative motions drafted by MEPs themselves, a status that means they will remain entirely unbinding even if passed by the entire Parliament.

Unlike the vast majority of such assemblies worldwide, MEPs remain practically impotent when it comes to instigating binding legislation, with such powers largely being left in the hands of the unelected European Commission.

Many parliamentarians often do not bother to show up to meetings at all.

When they do, a number only stick around in the parliamentary or committee chamber long enough to voice their own opinions, leaving as soon as they have spoken at a debate.

‘Global Warming’ Alert: German Authorities Urge Citizens To Stay at Home Amid Brutal Winter Weather and ‘Unseasonable Cold’

The problem, it seems, is not so much ‘global warming’ as it is ‘local freezing.’

Northern Europe was surprised by the ‘sudden onset’ of Winter, causing disruption and dangerous conditions in several countries.

Liberal Europeans had barely finished complaining that 2023 was ‘the hottest year on record’ when – wouldn’t you know it – temperatures were freezing cold at the very start of winter.

Authorities in western Germany, for one, urged residents to stay home, warning of ‘life-threatening danger’ after a ‘burst of winter weather’ led to hazardous roads, leading to accidents that left two people dead.

Bone tests show 80% of migrant minors are actually adults and they’re costing taxpayers a fortune, warns French MP

https://resistancerepublicaine.com/

In one French department, 80 percent of minors tested were determined to have lied about being minors and are actually adults, said Charles de Courson, a French MP of the center-right Union of Democrats and Independents, while speaking in the French General Assembly.

“Eighty percent of unaccompanied migrants in France’s northeast Marne department who declared themselves thus are not minors,” said de Courson said in a speech translated by Remix News. “In retrospect, for us, in my department, where there are 240 (of them), following the checks — more exactly bone analyses — 80 percent have been found not to be minors.”

“May I remind you that the department of Marne, which has about 1 percent of France’s population, the cost of caring for these 160 (false minors) costs €5,000 per month, that is €60,000 per year (for each one). And the state, after it has been found out that these ‘minors’ are in fact adults, only reimburses part of our costs, which are nowhere near our actual expenses,” he said.

Migrants have a significant motive to lie about their age, as they can gain access to a number of financial benefits and, perhaps most importantly, are not eligible for deportation.

The French politician is pushing for the federal government to take responsibility for the migrants instead of the local departments, which are ill-equipped to deal with the financial burden they represent.

“Thus, the real problem is administrative organization. (The fact that) the departments are in charge of unaccompanied minors and the federal government for the rest, if I may say so. We must change this. It would be logical that the federal government be competent for of all of them,” he added. “There would no longer be this division between the federal government and the departments, and the government, in turn, would commission the department to take care of them.”

“We must be rid of this bad administrative organization with a reform that would say that the state is responsible for the totality of them.”

This kind of data is actually nothing new in France. As Remix News previously reported, Algerians, Moroccans, and Tunisians represented more than 75 percent of unaccompanied minors in France in 2019, and many of them could actually be adults, according to a parliamentary report.

Of the three nations, Algerians were overwhelmingly represented, as almost 50 percent of unaccompanied minors came from that nation.

In the report, prosecutors Rémy Heitz and Aude Groualle also specified that a large number of adults take advantage of the protective regime guaranteed in a law from 1945 and pretend to be minors.

An experiment carried out by the Paris prosecutor’s office in 2019 revealed that in a group of 154 people formally identified as minors, 141 of them were adults based on medical examinations, representing 91.6 percent.

Cases of adult migrants lying about their age are not unique to France. A study from Belgium found that 73 percent of “underage migrants” were actually adults.

In Sweden, the numbers were even starker, with 84 percent of “child migrants” tested by Swedish health authorities actually turning out to be adults aged 18 or older, according to a report from the BBC.

According to a study from Germany conducted by the Institute of Forensic Medicine in Münster, a large proportion of underage immigrants lie about their age. The university clinic’s forensic specialists examined around 600 so-called unaccompanied minor refugees whose age was questioned on behalf of the courts. The institute determined that around 40 percent of them were demonstrably 18 years of age or older.

Two teenagers (15, 16) are said to have called for a “holy war” against the West via video on Telegram and announced a terrorist attack in Cologne. The domestic intelligence service managed to identify and arrest them.

In a video published on Telegram, two young people are said to have called for a “holy war” against the West and at the same time announced a terrorist attack in Germany for December 1. According to a report by public broadcaster WDR, the domestic intelligence service has identified the two. They are a German-Afghan (15) from Burscheid near Leverkusen and a Russian (16) from Wittstock in the north-west of Brandenburg.

The young people are said to have arranged to meet to discuss an Islamist attack. According to the report, they wanted to use incendiary devices or a small lorry to attack a Christmas market or a synagogue in Cologne. It is assumed that they also discussed a specific time for their plans.

House searches have now been carried out in North Rhine-Westphalia and Brandenburg. The young people were arrested as a result. The public prosecutor’s office in Düsseldorf and the public prosecutor’s office in Neuruppin are investigating on suspicion of planning a terrorist attack.

Both young people are considered sympathisers of the “Islamic State” (IS). The older one is classified by the security authorities in Brandenburg as a “relevant person” in the Islamist scene and is said to have attracted attention in the past for spreading jihadist propaganda.

Pope Francis to Evict ‘My Enemy’ Cardinal Raymond Burke from Vatican Apartment

Pope Francis said he intends to evict conservative Cardinal Raymond Burke from his subsidized Vatican apartment and strip him of his monthly salary, calling the prelate “my enemy.”

Francis revealed his intentions at a closed meeting of the heads of Vatican offices on November 20 but the leaked news has since been confirmed by various independent sources present at the closed-door session.

Raymond Cardinal Burke, screen grab youtube

According to Riccardo Cascioli of La Bussola Quotidiana, which broke the story, the alleged enmity of Cardinal Burke “has become a real obsession for Pope Francis in recent times,” even though the American cardinal has really been “in the crosshairs since the beginning of his pontificate.”

“Cardinal Burke is my enemy, so I am taking away his apartment and his paycheck,” the pope reportedly said, a financial loss calculated at between $112,000 and $152,000 per year.

In 2018, Burke criticized a secret deal between the Vatican and China’s Communist Party on the naming of bishops in China, calling it “absolutely unconscionable.”

The cardinal used stronger language still in 2021 in reaction to the pope’s decision to drastically restrict the celebration of the Traditional Latin Mass.

Those who are attached to the Traditional Latin Mass, sometimes called the Tridentine Mass, “are deeply disheartened by the severity of the discipline” imposed by Pope Francis and “offended by the language” he employs to describe them, their attitudes and their conduct, Burke said.

Francis’ message to the “devout faithful who have a deep appreciation and attachment” to the Traditional Latin Mass is that “they suffer from an aberration which can be tolerated for a time but must ultimately be eradicated,” Burke said.

At the time, Burke lamented “the severe and revolutionary action of the Holy Father,” while noting “the greater and ever increasing number of faithful who desire to worship God” according to the old rite.

Burke, an eminent canon lawyer who formerly headed the Vatican’s highest court, is the second conservative American bishop to be punished by the pontiff this month. Francis also ousted Bishop Joseph Strickland of Tyler, Texas, who had dared to openly criticize the pope.

Italy’s state-owned RAI News reported that an investigation into Bishop Strickland’s governance was launched as a response to “his traditional positions, irreconcilable with the new course started by Pope Francis.”

As examples, RAI noted that Bishop Strickland is “a vigorous defender of the Catholic Church’s doctrinal and dogmatic positions on marriage, human life, and religious freedom.”

Among Strickland’s critical positions, was opposition to the pope’s “innovations in matters of marriage, the Eucharist, and sexuality,” RAI reported.

The conservative Catholic site Silere non possum (I cannot be silent) asserted that Bishop Strickland’s ouster was “the price he paid for telling the truth,” and for his support of the traditional Latin Mass.

Strickland became the pope’s target “because of his clear and unblemished opposition to the ‘Synodal system,’” the article states, in reference to Francis’ efforts to overhaul Church structures in favor of consultative bodies, which critics claim are murky and easily manipulated.

While Francis has said he welcomes criticism and defends freedom of speech, this is patently untrue, the article asserts, since “those who live under this dictatorial system are very clear that ‘freedom of speech’ is something completely different.”

In a tweet Tuesday, Strickland reacted to reports that Francis had taken punitive action taken against Cardinal Burke.

“If this is accurate it is an atrocity that must be opposed. If it is false information it needs to be corrected immediately,” Strickland wrote.

Following Strickland’s ouster, the Canada-based Catholic news outlet LifeSiteNews underscored the pope’s selective punishment of conservative clerics, noting that he “has not disciplined numerous bishops who have publicly contradicted Catholic doctrine on homosexual activity, gender, same-sex ‘blessings,’ the ordination of women, and the reception of the Eucharist.”

In 2017, historian Henry Sire published a book called The Dictator Pope in which he portrayed Francis as an authoritarian leader who does not brook opposition or criticism.

Contrary to his public persona as a jovial man of the people, Sire wrote that Francis has turned out to be “a papal tyrant the like of whom has not been seen for many centuries” and under his administration, “the Vatican is systematically silencing, eliminating and replacing critics of the Pope’s views.”

“When the publicity cameras are off him, Pope Francis turns into a different figure: arrogant, dismissive of people, prodigal of bad language and notorious for furious outbursts of temper which are known to everyone from the cardinals to the chauffeurs,” Sire declared.
