South Africa: 82 suspects arrested after a mass rape
Dozens of black men ambushed a film crew at an abandoned mine near Johannesburg on Friday. They raped eight models between the ages of 19 and 35. As they fled, the police shot dead two suspects and 82 other people were arrested.
After a mass rape of eight women, the police in South Africa arrested 82 suspects. Officials were investigating at least 32 rape cases, police in the northern province of Gauteng said on Saturday. Some of the victims were raped by up to ten men, said Police Minister Bheki Cele. The group of perpetrators also committed an armed robbery.
On Friday, heavily armed black perpetrators known as “zama-zamas” attacked the film crew and extras at an abandoned site in Krugersdorp, near Johannesburg. The crew had been filming a music video at the disused mine. The eight women who were raped were all models between the ages of 19 and 35. According to the police, the attackers also stole wallets, mobile phones and jewelry and then fled the scene. Police officers shot dead two of the perpetrators as they fled.
What are ‘zama-zamas’?
“Zama-zama” is a local South African Zulu language term which means “to try again” or “take a chance.” The term actually refers to illegal miners who work in discontinued mines. Since industrial mining conducted by large-scale companies has seen a decline in operations and profits, shafts are taken over by criminal networks that use hand tools and manual labour to extract ore.
The mass rape is politically explosive, because it is estimated that 70 percent of zama-zamas are undocumented foreigners. South Africa has a history of xenophobic violence and the issue has become the focus of political campaigns.
President Cyril Ramaphosa described the mass rape as “appalling”. Health Secretary Aaron Motsoaledi broke down in tears during a press interview on Saturday and the Minister of Police also feigned shock. But residents of Krugersdorp told local TV station eNCA they had been living in fear for months because of the zama-zamas.
Sexual assaults are common in South Africa with its approximately 60 million inhabitants, especially the tradition of “Ukuthwala” a form of abduction that involves raping a girl or a young woman by a man and his friends or peers with the intention of compelling the girl or young woman’s family to agree into marriage. In fact, rape counselling centres (run mostly by concerned white women) were closed down because of political pressure. But when it involves foreigners, the issue becomes politically exploitable.
According to police statistics, 10 818 people were raped in the first three months of this year alone. However, police believe the number of unreported cases is much higher because most cases go unreported.
According to the Quarterly Labour Force Survey (QLFS) for the first quarter of 2022, the unemployment rate in South Africa was almost 64 percent for those aged 15-24 and 42,1 percent for those aged 25-34 years. The growing joblessness is being blamed on foreigners. Because of the demographic, most jobless people are black since whites are a small minority in the country.
About 23 000 jobs were lost in the mining sector between 2012 and 2019, according to data released by Statistics South Africa last year. Mining employment stood at 514 859 in 2019, down from 538 144 in 2012, with the sector facing more mass jobs cuts.
Literally an underground existence
An estimated 30 000 zama-zamas can be found underground at any one time. Above ground, networks operate to facilitate the unregulated and illicit smuggling operation, marked by extreme violence, corruption, and turf warfare. Rival zama-zama factions often kill for profitable shafts or trap one another in the mines to deter competition. Mine collapses and rock falls have so far killed hundreds. These deaths are almost never investigated.
Zama-zamas gain access to the shafts by bribing low-level mine employees. Due to the entrance fee and security risks, they then stay underground for months at a time in some of the deepest mining shafts in the world (on average over 2km deep) and have food delivered at exuberant prices. The minerals they mine, usually gold, are sold to local and international smugglers.
It is therefore unsurprising that the film crew would face an array of problems in venturing into an area fraught with extreme violence and frequent deadly turf wars, and where the police are either taking bribes or ignoring the scourge organised by criminal syndicates. These syndicates are responsible for billions of rands in lost tax revenue. In Gauteng, the violence in affected areas have turned mine sites into active war zones.
“Illegal mining and precious metals trafficking are complex multilayered international phenomena. Criminal syndicates use elaborate schemes and extensive export routes to successfully sell stolen precious metals to international and local refiners and launder the proceeds with limited detection and subsequent impunity,” said Brigadier Hennie Flynn of the Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation at the ISS.
A 2015 report estimated that about 10 percent of South Africa’s gold production – worth about R14 billion – was stolen and being smuggled out of the country.

Austria: Afghan stabbed his girlfriend in Tyrol and claims she fell into the knife
A 23-year-old man was arrested in Innsbruck on Friday evening after a knife attack on his 24-year-old girlfriend. According to the police, he attacked the woman with a kitchen knife with a 22-centimetre blade during an argument and inflicted stab and cut injuries on her shoulder and left thigh. An investigation is underway on suspicion of attempted murder, it was reported. The 24-year-old was treated in hospital.
The altercation took place around 6 pm in the district of Hötting, and the police were called by the ambulance service. On the spot, his statements that the woman had fallen with her shoulder on the knife turned out to be false. Rather, it turned out that the 23-year-old Afghan national had attacked his girlfriend. He was arrested and taken to the Innsbruck police detention centre, where he remains in custody.
The 24-year-old woman was admitted to hospital as an in-patient, but was already released from hospital on Saturday. She has already been questioned by the police. The suspect was to be questioned on Sunday. The investigation is being conducted by the Tyrol Regional Criminal Police Office.

A man broke into a house in Le Mans (Sarthe) on Saturday July 23, 2022. He was arrested in the act by police officers whom he threatened with two 16 cm knives.

(…) Then he started threatening them with death: “I will find you, just tell me when you are not working”, he said addressing a policeman. Then he added in the direction of another policeman: “I will fuck you by Allah I will fuck you”. Towards another police officer he also uttered death threats: “You will die” …..
In court, the accused denied and stated that the police officers were lying. He has already been convicted of theft and is subject to an obligation to leave French territory (Obligation de Quitter le Territoire Français, OQTF). Actu.fr

Islam has two houses: The House of War and the House of Peace. Under Islamic doctrine, the former (aka jihad) leads to the latter. Wherever Islam triumphs, peace prevails. And who cares if it’s “the peace of the grave,” as Tacitus spoke of Roman conquests? It’s enough that the conquered people abandon their traditions and values and, instead, accept total submission to Sharia law. Islam’s not shy about its goals, but we in the West repeatedly pretend that quiescent moments mean the war is over. It’s not, and footage out of Houston reminds us of that.
Writing at FrontPage Magazine, Daniel Greenfield highlights the training taking place at an Islamic school that is alleged to be in Houston, Texas. The video, which is freely available on YouTube (unlike conservative “wrongthink” videos about vaccinations or climate) and Twitter, was purportedly filmed at the Islamic Education Center of Houston, an institution that supports Iran’s Shia Islam:
That this video does indeed come from Houston is supported by the fact that the Center strongly supports the Ayatollah Khomeini, the inspiration for and first leader of the violently anti-American, anti-Western Islamic revolution:
Greenfield links to a MEMRI description of a 2019 video from the same school. In the 2019 video, the school was celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution. The student speaker celebrated Iran and castigated Israel (the Little Satan) and Saudi Arabia (the spiritual home of the Sunni Islam that is Iran’s regional geopolitical enemy). As usually happens, the speech ended with an endorsement of the Battle of Khaybar, which marked the beginning of Islam’s genocidal purge of Jews and its battle cry “Allahu Akbar.”
But what about the video above, the one with all those cute little kids lined up in military formation and chanting away? What’s going on there? Well, nothing good. Apparently, the kids singing a song that has them vowing to be martyrs for Iran’s Ali Khamenei and to become the next generation of Qassem Soleimanis.
As a reminder about Islam’s doctrinal commitment to Mohamed’s jihadist command, it’s worthwhile watching a timeline video showing Islam’s brutal efficiency. When you have Allah at your back, a sword or stinger missile in your hand, and around a billion potential fanatics at your beck and call (after all, a huge percentage of the world’s Muslims claim to support Sharia law), there’s not a whole lot you can’t accomplish:
Contrary to Obama’s boast that Islam is woven into America’s earliest history, that’s not true. There’s no doubt that some of the slaves brought here were Muslim and that, beginning in the 20th century, Muslims immigrated to America. However, they were always on the periphery of America’s development constitutionally, culturally, and economically. Although we do not have a state religion (thanks to the First Amendment), the Bible and the Western culture tied to the Bible have been the ribbon twining through all aspects of American history.
It’s only recently that Islam has begun to make significant inroads into American culture and politics. It’s in the House of Representatives with Andre Carson, Ilhan Omar, and Rashida Tlaib, all of whom embrace the most extreme Democrat policies that are intended to change American institutions. (If Mehmet Oz wins, he’ll be the first Muslim Senator, although he’s run as a Republican, so he currently does not seem focused on destroying traditional American norms.)
I don’t care what religion someone is as long as that person embraces American norms. The chanting young people in that video clearly want to embrace Iranian norms, just as Rashida Tlaib is open about her support for Palestinian norms and Ilhan Omar is open about her deep and abiding disdain for America.
No country can survive a huge fifth column dedicated to its destruction—and as I said at the start of this post, Islam is not shy about the fact that it’s dedicated to defeating every non-Muslim nation. We may have put 9/11 and the subsequent wars behind us, but the Islamic House of War is always ready for battle.
Shortly after an Afghan refugee crossed the Austrian border he beat up a female soldier
In the Austrian province of Burgenland, an illegal migrant injured a female soldier (32) after crossing the border. During a border check, the Afghan hit the female soldier in the face with his fist.
On Saturday morning, an illegal migrant from Afghanistan injured a female soldier of the Austrian Armed Forces at the Deutschkreutz border crossing (district of Oberpullendorf). The woman constable (32) had stopped a group of ten refugees together with other assistant soldiers. In the process, an Afghan punched the female soldier in the face, the Austrian Armed Forces reported.
The woman had to be taken to hospital. The army spokesperson did not want to give any information about the severity of the injury. The Afghan was reported to the police. Defence Minister Klaudia Tanner (ÖVP) wishes the soldier a speedy recovery. She said that the attack showed the brutality that was now being used.

Islamist wanted to “cut off the head” of Austrian police officers: His mother seriously injures special forces police officer
He threatened to cut off police officers’ heads, the Turkish IS fanatic’s mother now ran over a Cobra special forces police officer. The man was seriously injured.
Terrible events took place in Sellrain in Tyrol (district of Innsbruck-Land) on Saturday: As reported by the newspaper “Krone”, a woman, the mother of an IS supporter (18), crashed her car into a Cobra police officer – who was seriously injured.
But how did it come about? After a hint from Germany to the Office for the Protection of the Constitution regarding an alleged IS supporter, the Directorate for Intelligence and State Protection (DSN) immediately started an investigation. The accusations were confirmed. “I will cut off the heads of officials!” the Islamist posted on social media.
The Cobra then intervened. Instead of surrendering to the heavily armed elite police officers, mother and son tried to flee. She accelerated and ran over one of the men. The other officers stopped the duo. The investigation is ongoing.

Asylum applications to Austria have increased threefold
In Austria, asylum applications have already tripled compared to the previous year – and the latest onslaught is mostly Afghan, Syrian and Tunisian men. Memories of 2015 are recalled.
In numbers, in the first half of 2022, 31 050 people applied for asylum in Austria. The Ukrainian war refugees, the majority of whom are women, were not included in the Interior Ministry’s statistics because of the exceptional situation.
Some 94 percent of asylum seekers are men. Very few applications were submitted by women in the first half of 2022. Most asylum applications were made by Afghans (7325), Syrians (6680) and Tunisians (3810), with Pakistan (3110) and India (2025) in fourth and fifth place. However, only Syrians and Afghan men can count on a positive decision – Tunisia, Pakistan and India are considered safe countries of origin.
The number of applications has risen sharply again compared to the past seven years. If the arrivals remain as high in the second half of the year, the year 2022 could take second place after 2015 in the ranking of the most asylum applications in Austria. At that time, 88 340 people applied for asylum, in 2016 there were 42 285. This number could be exceeded this year.
