Terrible events took place in Sellrain in Tyrol (district of Innsbruck-Land) on Saturday: As reported by the newspaper “Krone”, a woman, the mother of an IS supporter (18), crashed her car into a Cobra police officer – who was seriously injured.

After a hint from Germany to the Office for the Protection of the Constitution regarding an alleged IS supporter, the Directorate for Intelligence and State Protection (DSN) immediately started an investigation. The Cobra then intervened. Instead of surrendering to the heavily armed elite police officers, mother and son tried to flee. She accelerated and ran over one of the men. The other officers stopped the duo. The investigation is ongoing.
