Germany: 82-year-old German fatally stabbed by Turkish neighbour

Fatal neighbour dispute on Tuesday night! A person died on the ground floor of an apartment building in Wuppertal.

Senior citizen Karl-Heinz K. (82) was presumably stabbed to death with a knife by his neighbour (59). The victim had previously been able to call for help via the house emergency call and give clues to the perpetrator.

It was around 11.40 pm when some neighbours on the street Brunhildenstraße heard the pensioner’s bloodcurdling cries for help. Dull noises of objects being thrown around the flat were also heard.

Apparently, the German-Turkish neighbour living in the flat opposite had rung the senior’s doorbell. When he opened the door, the man stormed into the flat and stabbed the 82-year-old with a knife.

The police and the ambulance service found the seriously injured senior lying in his bed. He had already lost a lot of blood when he was taken to hospital. There, despite emergency surgery, the man died only a few hours later.

Since the victim had given a tip-off about the attacker, the 59-year-old was arrested a short time later in his flat opposite the victim’s flat. A knife, which is likely to be the murder weapon, was seized.

It is still unclear why the neighbour was attacked in his flat. According to the investigators, indications of a mental illness of the 59-year-old attacker are currently being examined. An expert is examining the suspect accordingly.

On Wednesday, the suspected knifeman was admitted to a closed psychiatric ward. A spokesperson for the public prosecutor’s office said on Wednesday that the judge had seen indications for a mental illness of the man, which might also have had an influence on his culpability.

France: Despite being expelled from Sweden and having his asylum application rejected, an Afghan paedophile commits a sexual assault on a young boy, the defence pleads … “the cultural difference”

A 22-year-old man stood before the criminal court in Cahors at the end of April, charged with sexually molesting a nine-year-old minor and possessing child pornography images.

[…]
The investigation will bring to light the young man’s complex migration route, an asylum application rejected by Ofpra and a deportation from Sweden. During the search of the flat, the shorts are found and traces of sperm and DNA are detected. The examination of his mobile phone revealed 71 child pornography files with young boys.

The migrant denies everything: the forced masturbation and the fact that he showed the photos to the child.

[…]
The man, who has already served a year in prison after the deeds, no longer has a place to live. He sleeps on the street or calls the emergency number 115.

[…]
And further “He comes from a country where there is no sexual majority. You have to take into account the cultural difference, the psychological baggage. Where he comes from, pornographic images on mobile phones are common. He comes from this chaotic state that exists in his country.” “If you follow the prosecution’s requests, he will have to return to Afghanistan, and that is the main penalty in the case”.

Two integration role models charged in Sweden: they wanted to join Daesh

The two football coaching brothers Nagmi Barka and Ali Barka wanted to join Daesh

Two brothers from Gothenburg, known for their efforts as football coaches, are accused of trying to travel to the Middle East to join Daesh. The brothers were arrested at Landvetter airport in February this year as they were about to board a plane to Turkey.

On Wednesday May 4, a summons was filed at Gothenburg District Court against 44-year-old Nagmi Barka and his 40-year-old brother Ali Barka. The men are charged with offences under the Criminal Code for public incitement, recruitment and training for terrorist offences and other particularly serious crimes.

The two brothers had been arrested on February 19 this year at Landvetter Airport in Gothenburg on their way to Turkey. The arrest had been conducted by the Swedish Security Service and the National Task Force.

The prosecutor states in his summons that the brothers intended to travel to Syria, Iraq or Libya via Turkey to join Daesh. .

The evidence includes a large number of conversations in which the brothers were in contact with other Islamists. However, one of the groups was infiltrated by an unknown security service, and this is how the Swedish security service tracked down the brothers’ terror plans.

During the arrest, audio files of Islamist lectures and sermons on martyrdom were also confiscated.

Ali had already been a fighter in Islamist battles.
The youngest of the brothers, Ali Barka, is suspected of having previously fought for an armed Islamist group in Syria, in 2013.

Ali Barka said in interviews with police that they had “dreamed” of joining Islamic State. Older brother Nagmi Barka also says he sympathises with the terror group because it fights against Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.

If I were to join the Islamic State, I would do it to fight against Bashar. And I believe that they are the only strong force in Syria to achieve that,” he said, adding that he did not consider them terrorists :
When you say Daesh, you say terrorism all the time, and I don’t think that’s true.

Football coaches for young people

Nagmi and Ali Barka have already worked as football coaches for young people in Gothenburg.

In 2019, the brothers were interviewed by the newspaper Göteborgs-Posten because of their engagement in football. They were presented as an example of successful integration, having resisted gang crime and the “dark socio-economic reality of their neighbourhood”.

Instead of becoming bad people, we have football as a leisure activity,” Ali said in an article.

Born in Sweden

Nagmi and Ali were both born in Sweden and are Swedish citizens. They have a Swedish mother and a father who came to Sweden from Libya in the 1970s. The mother was already registered as having emigrated to Libya.

The two brothers deny having committed any crime. According to them, the purpose of the trip in February was to travel to Libya, their father’s country of origin, and settle there. Both had filed a report with the Swedish Tax Agency before their departure.

“You settle in a country in the name of Islam. You become a better Muslim by practising more of what the religion says and less of what it rejects. Sweden is one of the best places in the world to be a Muslim, with freedom of religion here, but at the same time Sweden is a country with many sins compared to a country there,” Nagmi Barka tells the police.Samnytt

VIDEO: Illegal immigrant smashes French female police officer’s head into parked car in Paris

French police took three illegal migrants into custody late Monday afternoon after they violently assaulted several police officers at Porte de Clignancourt, in the 18th arrondissement of Paris.

In a video shared widely on social media, one of the illegal migrants can be seen coming up behind the female police officer as she attempts to aid her partner involved in another arrest. She sees the man attempting to grab her, at which point she briefly discharges her pepper spray canister. The man grabs her, pushes her towards a parked car, and then slams her head into the hood. She gets back up to her feet, at which point he punched her in the face.

The female police officer was brought to the hospital, where she required three days to recover before she could return to work.

The incident began around 4 p.m. on May 3, when a police unit noticed that migrants lighting fires under a bridge that they have been occupying for almost a month. The police immediately asked those present to put out the fires to prevent them from spreading to nearby tents, but the migrants refused. They began throwing various projectiles in the direction of the officers, at which point they moved in to make arrests.

In the video, it appears that suspects targeted for arrest managed to escape, but police reported that reinforcements from the Territorial Security Brigade and the Saint-Ouen Anti-Crime Brigade arrested three individuals and took them into police custody at the Saint-Ouen police station, where they confirmed that the suspects were adults and had no official documentation, reports Le Figaro.

Wearing the uniform no longer inspires respect. It is even quite the opposite. Today, we face thugs who no longer have any limits. Often, we know these individuals very well as we have arrested them countless times. They do not care about authority,” said Matthieu Valet, the spokesperson for the Independent Union of Commissioners and Police. The police trade unionist is campaigning in particular for establishing minimum sentences so that each conviction results in a prison sentence, even if it adds up to just a few days behind bars.

Violence against police has risen dramatically in France, with all 14 police unions in the country calling for military intervention last year to restore order to the country. A similar assault against police officers occurred just last month, in which 15 individuals surrounded and beat two officers trying to arrest a suspect. Cases involving the murder of police officers have also risen substantially in recent years.

Germany: North African gangs fight over a woman

Several people were injured in a physical altercation between two groups in the city centre of Karlsruhe at around 9:45 pm on Monday.

According to the current state of police investigation, the groups first got into an argument about a woman in the Schlosspark. An unknown man from the other group hit a 19-year-old man with a bottle, slightly injuring him.

In the further course of the incident, the opponents apparently clashed again at the underground stop Marktplatz. Here, several people were injured by kicks and punches as well as an alleged stabbing weapon by several men of the attacking group.

The perpetrators of the group of four were described as follows:

All appear to be between 16 and 25 years old, with slim figures and are probably of North African origin.

Two of the men were wearing black sweatpants, black T-shirts and white shoes.

Another man was dressed in black sweatpants, a light-coloured top and white shoes.

The fourth man was wearing white sweatpants, a white top, a black short waistcoat and light-coloured sports shoes.

The police are asking witnesses and especially the woman who was probably the subject of the altercation to contact the Marktplatz police station by calling 0721/666-3311.

New information – Sweden can become a NATO member in just two weeks

According to new information published by a Norwegian source, Sweden’s and Finland’s application to NATO, which is becoming increasingly likely, can take place in a record time of just two weeks.

The newspaper Verdens Gang, quoted Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre, who confirmed that the application would be handled with the shortest possible lead time. “It is about not making that period longer than necessary,” said the Norwegian Prime Minister.

Over the years, several NATO secretaries have said that Sweden would be able to gain membership in NATO quite easily, something that the current Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg has confirmed.

“We know that Sweden meets all NATO standards. You have a high degree of synergy, you have the political institutions required to have control over the forces of the defense,” Stoltenberg previously told Swedish daily DN.

What is not clear, however, is how long an application may take. Officially, a new country’s application must be approved by all 30 members of the military alliance before it can be accepted and the process usually takes several years. According to Stoltenberg, all current member states would approve Swedish and Finnish membership and there are strong incentives for NATO to accept Finland, with its long border with Russia and strong defense army and Sweden with its strategic location, large arms industry and already extensive cooperation with NATO.

According to several sources in both Finland and Sweden, the application from the two countries will be submitted at the same time or in a short sequence already in May.

Wild West Germany: Hells Angels biker gang shootout with migrant clan leaves 4 wounded, 15 arrested

A shootout in downtown Duisburg between different elements of German biker gangs and migrant clan groups have left four wounded on Wednesday evening.

Dramatic video showed large crowds of people running through Hamborn’s old market square as gun shots rang out. It is unclear who among the groups was shooting or who was shot, but police have arrested 15 suspects, with both members of the motorcycle gang and clan groups in custody. Police said in total four people were shot, according to the Rheinische Post. Twenty shell casings were also found at the scene.

According to the newspaper, there was a dispute among the Duisburg Hells Angels biker group and clan members. A Lebanese man is said to have informed on his fellow members to the police there. After his expulsion from the group, he demanded a meeting that ended in the shooting. Up to one hundred people from the rocker milieu and reportedly members of some migrant clans gathered in the city to be a part of the meeting.

“The parties involved are almost all well-known members of the underworld in the north of Duisburg: Hells Angels and clan members. There were around 100 people involved, maybe more. Sometimes they shot aimlessly around; it was a bit reminiscent of a saloon shootout in the Wild West. It was just luck that more people weren’t injured,” an anonymous police source said.

“The situation is tense. We are preparing further operational measures. There were also arrivals from other cities in the Ruhr area, where there are other gangs. At least some of those involved can be attributed to the clan and rocker milieu,” stated police spokesman Stefan Hausch.

For years, the security services in North Rhine-Westphalia have been dealing with clan crime, mostly involving large Arab families. The police have repeatedly tried to take targeted action against the clan structures with raids and arrest, however, the clan threat has only been growing. Instead of the previously suspected 50 clans in operation, the State Criminal Police Office admitted in 2019 that there were around 100 in the Rhine and Ruhr regions.
