Pallets and pallets of baby formula for illegals, nothing on the shelves for Americans

By Monica Showalter

You’ve heard of pallets of cash for the mullahs? Now it’s pallets of baby formula exclusively for illegals — while American babies go hungry.

Such is the incredible story being reported by the Washington Examiner on the state of Joe Biden’s “priorities.”

Get a load:

The nationwide shortage of baby formula that has sent mothers desperately rushing from store to store has evaded one lucky group: illegal immigrants detained by Border Patrol.

According to videos posted by a Florida lawmaker, the Biden administration has been shipping “pallets” of baby formula to migrant holding facilities.

“They are sending pallets, pallets of baby formula to the border,” said Republican Rep. Kat Cammack in one of two online postings yesterday. “Meanwhile, in our own district at home, we cannot find baby formula,” she added, holding a photo of empty shelves where the formula would be.

Cammack’s video is here:

It comes just after the Biden administration had been caught red-handed taking away doctors and medical personall from the Veterans Administration and dragooning them into serving illegals at the border. Troops in need of medical care could wait. Unvetted illegals breaking into the U.S. come first.

Now it’s baby formula, so America’s babies can wait, too, and too bad about the little ones going hungry.

It sounds as though I may be exaggerating. Well, I am not. Here’s the Biden administration’s attitude towards the entire baby formula crisis, which has left store shelves bare and babies without sustanance, from Biden’s new press secretary:

“On baby formula, there have been severe shortages throughout much of the country over many weeks and months but particularly the last couple of weeks, what is the administration doing? What can you do?” a reporter asked.

“That’s something certainly we’ve been tracking. Ensuring that infant formula is safe and available for families across the country is a top priority for the White House and this administration. We know that Abbott’s voluntary recall of infant formula products has led to some Americans being unable to access other critical medical food supply. This is an urgent issue that the FDA and White House are working 24/7 to address.”

“Who is running point on the formula issue at the White House? You mentioned the White House is involved,” another reporter followed up.

“At the White House, I don’t know,” Jean-Pierre said while laughing. “I can find out for you and get you a person who is running point.”

For them, it’s all fun and games as America’s mothers desperately search for baby formula, a product that is not easily made at home nor easy to substitute, for their infants. According to NewsMax, 40% of store shelves are empty of formula now, up from 29% in March, and a manufacturer shutdown has meant a delay expected to extend for 10 weeks at least.

But no such problems for foreigners illegally crossing our border. Biden ought to be sending the single moms with babies on their hips back to Mexico on Title 42-style grounds that there isn’t sufficient baby formula in the states at this point, but plenty for them in Mexico and in their home countries, but he’d rather they not be inconvenienced.

Something like this is insanity, a terrible policy priority likely to affect American parents on a gut level enough to make them vote for Biden’s opponents in November. The Bidenites don’t have a clue as to how bad this will be for them because nothing is more motivating to voters to go to the polls than danger for their children, and the danger of starvation is very much in this category.

The Bidenites may be clueless, but after the suffering they are inflicting on American parents and their babies, and then the insult added to injury of illegals going first on the formula, they will learn well about the wisdom of this policy the hard way, come this November.

Paris: Magassa O. tries to kill two police officers, whom she calls “crusaders”, shouting “Allah akbar

A 21-year-old woman was charged and detained for trying to kill police officers at Lariboisière Hospital in Paris (Xe) on May 5. It is a strange case that has been investigated by the anti-terrorist justice system without any jihadist trail being investigated so far.
(…)

For no apparent reason, Magassa O. then attacked the female police officer of the railway police (Brigade des réseaux ferrés) and tried to violently mangle and kick her while shouting “Allahu akbar”. (…)

Book about Bin Laden found

When the young woman was taken into police custody, she turned out to be particularly threatening. To the investigators of the 2nd district of the Criminal Investigation Department, Magassa O. fully admitted her attacks on the officers she had met at the hospital. She even claimed that she had wanted to “shoot at the police officers” and had first gone for the “weakest” policewoman in order to “hurt her”.

(….)

Intensive watching of videos on police violence

Another element emerges from the young woman’s hearings: her deep-rooted hatred of the police. During her pre-trial detention, Magassa O. admitted several times that she was driven to commit the crime by intensively watching videos of police violence. These images had fuelled his anger towards the police.(…)www.leparisien.fr

Diesel price in Germany threatens to rise to over three euros per liter

In Lower Austria, the threshold for a diesel price of more than three euros per liter was already exceeded in March 2022. Economists fear that diesel prices could rise to over three euros per liter this summer in Germany too.

According to Agrarheute.com, ironically, the state fuel discount of 17 cents per liter of diesel and 36 cents per liter of petrol could have a price-driving effect, market observers fear because the state subsidies planned for the June 1 deadline could prevent consumers from refueling towards the end of May.

Punctually on June 1, many motorists rush to the petrol stations, all at the same time, with the result that the oil companies charge them almost any price they want. If the price level is drastically higher than it is now and consumers get used to extremely high fuel costs, there will be little motivation for suppliers to lower prices.

Heating oil drives up the price of diesel. The industry service Tecson explained: “Despite the high price level, consumers are anticipating and stocking up on heating oil. And it’s probably not unwise to take those prizes into consideration. Consumers now prefer to have a well-filled heating oil tank in the basement.”

Of course, this only applies to those homeowners who are well off. Everyone else is at a disadvantage. Gabriele Widmann, a commodities expert at Dekabank, offered less than encouraging assessment to struggling consumers:

“We will have permanently higher energy prices because cheap energy from Russia is a thing of the past. We will no longer work so closely with Russia – no matter how the conflict is resolved.”

The trial of an Islamist who planned a devastating Boston-style attack begins in Hamburg, Germany – His father already had connections to the 9/11 bombers

The trial of a 21-year-old Islamist starts in Hamburg. He is said to have planned a devastating attack with “cooking pot bombs”. What worries the authorities is that his father is already well known to police investigators.

The man, who had an e-mail address under the alias “Dieter Hahn”, had very specific wishes: he needed a hand grenade, plus sticks of C4 plastic explosive, detonators and two Glock pistols. He lives in Germany, in the Hamburg area.

But the request did not end up with an arms dealer in the Darknet, as “Dieter Hahn” assumed, but with an undercover investigator of the US police and customs authority ICE. The undercover agent responded to the orders and alerted the Federal Criminal Police Office. There, an officer took over and replied. “Dieter Hahn” had been trapped. The security authorities now tracked his every digital step and seized him at the end of August 2021.

Abdurrahman C., a Hamburg citizen with German-Moroccan roots, is said to hide under the alias “Dieter Hahn”. Yesterday, Thursday, he is sitting in a heavily secured room at the Hamburg Higher Regional Court, his black hoodie pulled deep into his face; a 21-year-old who appears much younger and yet is said to have conceived a devastating terrorist attack.

The Federal Prosecutor’s Office accuses him of having planned a serious crime endangering the state – a terrorist attack similar to the attack on the Boston Marathon in 2013, in which three people died. He is also alleged to have violated the War Weapons Control Act and the Weapons Act.

After the arrest became known, Hamburg’s Senator of the Interior Andy Grote (SPD) said that C. stood for a new generation of jihadists, the “heirs of 9/11”. The allusion is to be understood literally: C.’s father is said to have had close ties to the environment of the 9/11 attackers, the terror cell that prepared the attack in Hamburg 20 years ago.

The son is said to have had a strict religious upbringing, according to the indictment, and to have intensively informed himself about attacks in forums and groups of the messenger service Telegram from 2020 onwards. This also indicates that the accused sympathised with the Islamist ideology of Al-Qaeda: The terrorist attack in the “Hamburg area” – the indictment is not more specific here – was planned around the 20th anniversary of the attacks of 9/11.

At the beginning of 2021, the German-Moroccan first comes to the attention of Hamburg investigators; he visits an Islamist mosque in Harburg. At about the same time, as the investigators later reconstruct it, he begins to order materials for building bombs. First, a kilo of potassium nitrate and a kilo of sulphur, both delivered to his parents’ flat.

Then hundreds of metal screws, several rolls of bell wire (i.e. power lines) and 500 grams of coal powder. He orders some of it to a friend’s address, where he now lives. Investigators also find a massive cooking pot there later. For comparison: The Boston bombers in 2013 had used pressure cookers as bombs and detonated them remotely, filled with black powder, nails and bullets.

The contact with the alleged “arms dealer”, in reality an undercover investigator, is also said to have intensified further. The two Glock pistols had been too expensive for “Dieter Hahn”, as reported by an officer of the Federal Criminal Police Office who testified as a witness on the first day of the trial. The buyer changed his mind and an agreement was reached on a Makarov pistol with 50 rounds for 900 euros, plus a hand grenade costing 110 euros.

The buyer paid ten percent of the price in Bitcoin. The handover of the weapons was supposed to take place at a Mc Donalds car park on Kieler Straße. After the undercover investigator opened the boot and presented the goods, he was trapped. Abdurrahman C. was arrested. He has been in custody since August 2021, most recently in the Prison Hahnöfersand.

The accused initially did not want to comment on the accusations. His defence lawyer filed a motion to exclude the public. This was rejected by the court. In view of the seriousness of the accusations, the public’s interest in information had priority, explained the chairperson of the State Protection Senate, Petra Wende-Spors.

The trial is scheduled until the end of August.

Great Reset: ‘Famine threatens to wipe out 300 million’

Svenja Schulze with well-fed SPD voters. Facebook

The mainstream media has repeated the simple logic regarding the supposed causal chain of the current disrupted trade and supply flows and global supply shortages: It is the aftermath of the Ukraine war, the inevitable consequences of morally justified sanctions against Russia, and repercussions of the “pandemic”.

But the culprits have been clearly identified. In fact, the crisis is going according to plan.

The fact that war and sanctions are having ever more catastrophic consequences for large parts of the world was the subject of a recent interview published in the German daily Bild in which German Development Minister Svenja Schulze expressed her thoughts. She said there was now a threat of “the worst famine since World War II, with millions of deaths because of “Corona, extreme droughts and now the war that increased food prices worldwide by a third” and were “now at record levels”. The World Food Program is “currently assuming that there are far more than 300 million acutely starving people” and must “constantly revise its forecasts upwards”.

Calculated lockdown consequences

Not a word about the fact that most of these victims are victims of what is increasingly being recognized as a planned pandemic staging and its long-term outcomes. The politically internationally coordinated lockdowns with their fatal consequences in the global trade in goods and services as well as production interruptions have massively increased the dependence of third world and emerging countries on the industrialized countries, their big-tech pioneers and the development aid donor countries.

Not only are pharmaceutical giants and vaccine manufacturers, which made huge profits thanks to the redistribution of state assets and tax revenues (often on credit), the big winners of this staged crisis, but also the NGOs and billionaire foundations that hold patents and lobby for corresponding government programmes have benefitted hugely.

There is now a comprehensive transformation that can be implemented in various areas of human development. Smart cities with a high degree of digitization and surveillance, complete dependence of the healthcare system on centralized power brokers (consider the role of the WHO and its financiers), the subordination of all other political tasks to an emergency agenda that is not only tied to viruses, but also to “climate protection”.

Pretext for redistribution and misappropriation of funds

The same geostrategists who want to hoist this internationalization of “challenges” past the democratically legitimized authorities of the individual nations onto a global backdrop are also waging the actual proxy war for the future in Ukraine. It is therefore no wonder that this scene is also used as a pretext not only for the misappropriation of public funds for new profiteers (armament goods, Ukrainian oligarchs) with nothing left to fight hunger.

But also to justify the next “no alternative” after climate protection, which happens to be sanctions against Russia, which create new profiteers in the spirit of Western business elites – from US fracking LNG exporters to British, French and American partners in Arab oil production – who can expect the boom of the century.

This is the background, imperceptible to most people, behind which the big decisions are ultimately made, which ultimately result in upheavals in the global basic supply of foodenergy, medicines and much more. In a ridiculous oversimplification of the context, Svenja Schulze, with a colorful WEF pin on her lapel, nevertheless accused Russian President Putin of waging a “war with hunger”.

He takes advantage of “the fact that many countries in the world are dependent on Russian and Ukrainian agricultural products”. He also “stole grain from Ukraine” that he would only share with countries “who unequivocally support Russia”. She sees the fact that 40 countries in the UN General Assembly, “in which half of the world’s population” lives, did not condemn “Putin’s war of aggression” as “a concrete result of the susceptibility to blackmail through food”.

Fighting Putin with vegetable oil

In order not to participate in this alleged scheme, Schulze called for an end to the use of food and feed crops for the production of biofuels.

“Nobody wants to be responsible for fueling up world hunger. We have to stop putting food in the tank – whether it’s wheat, palm oil, canola or corn. Some 4,4 percent in the fuel is food and feed. That should be reduced to zero– not only in Germany, but as internationally as possible. In Germany, we pour 2,7 billion liters of fuel from vegetable oils into car tanks every year. That is almost half of Ukraine’s sunflower oil harvest.”

A course is also set that the whole world has to follow, and which ultimately also causes cascading effects and subsequent problems throughout the world. Federal Environment Minister Steffi Lemke (Greens) made similar demands at the end of April. The Association of the German Biofuel Industry (VDB) rejected this, pointing out that the market had already reacted because the production of biofuels was already restricted by the high agricultural prices. In any case, the admixture of biodiesel in diesel fuel in Germany fell significantly in January and February according to the Union for the Promotion of Oil and Protein Plants (Ufop).

According to the EU think tank Farm Europe, the use of biofuels will lower the price of fuel in the EU by 10 cents per liter. The US government even decided last month to deliberately increase the blending of biofuels in order to curb the rise in fossil fuel prices. It seems as if Schulze and Lemke are once again engaged in a fight that is as unfounded as it is hopeless. In the end, only the elites will win it.

Turning off the gas flow

Europe’s gas reserves could run out faster than previously calculated after Ukraine this week cut off around a third of the gas flows towards Europe. In the eastern Ukrainian region of Lugansk, the gas supply from Russia to Central Europe was cut off on May 11 at the instigation of the Ukrainian government. The reasons for this are unclear.

Up until now, gas has been forwarded to other distribution stations in the direction of Central Europe via the Sochranivka and Novopskov gas hubs. The operators justify the shutdown with the occurrence of “force majeure”. But the Russian supplier Gazprom said no damage was found on the affected lines. Observers agree that the government in Kiev apparently wants to force the shutdown for political reasons, not technical reasons. In Kiev, it is hoped that the escalation in the conflict will continue and that the European governments will be driven into a tighter corner.

The Ukrainian gas network operator announced that up to 32,6 million cubic meters of gas per day fell away as a result of the capping – almost a third of the maximum amount that can be transported via Ukraine to Europe every day. It is technically not possible to divert the deliveries that are now no longer available via other routes. Also because of this – and because Ukraine has repeatedly and illegally extracted gas from the pipelines running through its territory in the past – the Nord Stream 2 project was pushed ahead. The current measure of the Kiev government confirms the correctness of the Nordstream 2 project in retrospect, which has meanwhile been brought down by Washington and the new traffic light government in Germany.

Germany: Mosque named after SS-Sturmbannführer

During his research on problematic mosque communities in Bavaria, journalist Irfan Peci came across the Bosnian “Islamische Kulturgemeinschaft Dozo e.V.” in Ingolstadt. He found out what apparently no one had noticed before: this community names itself in all seriousness after Husein Dozo, who was an SS-Sturmbannführer of the Handzar Division in World War II and also worked there as a military imam.

Dozo was an enthusiastic National Socialist and a deeply convinced Jew-hater. In December 1943, Dozo wrote a letter to Himmler in German that it was an “honour” for “us Muslims” to “dedicate our lives in battle for the great leader Adolf Hitler and the New Europe”.

The divisional imam Dozo was in complete agreement with the National Socialist agenda. In 1943, he wrote in an article for the “Handzar” magazine that Europe had to be liberated from its “enemies” with the help of the SS. He specifically named Jews, Freemasons, capitalists and communists as these “enemies”. Dozo expressed his conviction that the SS would “build a better future for Europe”.

Husein Dozo also headed the Imam Institute in Guben, Brandenburg, which had been founded by the SS to train clerical staff. At the opening on April 21, 1944, first the notorious Grand Mufti of Palestine, Amin al-Husseini, who was also an SS group leader, and then military Imam Husein Dozo spoke. He affirmed that the Institute would “further strengthen the friendly ties between the Islamic world and National Socialist Germany”. The imams were ready to “extend our utmost efforts to realise the New Order”.

After the Second World War, Dozo was sentenced to five years in prison for collaborating with the Nazis. His views, however, seemed to have changed little, at least as far as anti-Semitism was concerned. Dozo, for example, met with his old SS crony, the former Grand Mufti, at the Fourth Islamic Conference in Cairo in early October 1968. At this conference, attended by representatives from 34 Islamic countries, a call was adopted for Jerusalem to be “liberated” from the Jews in a “holy war”. Dozo promised “in the name of Yugoslav Muslims” to contribute to the “victory of jihad in the Middle East” by means of volunteers and donations.

These facts about Husein Dozo had also been known to the Penzberg imam Bajrambejamin Idriz since the end of 2010 at the latest, when Focus confronted him with them. Idriz had called Dozo a “pioneer of Islamic reforms in Bosnia and Herzegovina” on the homepage of the Islamic Forum Penzberg. Dozo, he said, was “a pioneer of a distinctive and consistent reform scheme” in the Muslim world. Through the first Islamic Faculty of Science in Bosnia, founded by Dozo, “the reform ideas have been widely and effectively disseminated”. In the anthology “Islam with a European Face”, co-edited by Idriz, Idriz again referred to Dozo, whose work he considered “groundbreaking” for the “more progressive forces”. Idriz also praised Dozo in his book “Grüß Gott, Herr Imam!

Is Britain making a mistake about Finland and Sweden?

By Francis P. Sempa

British prime minister Boris Johnson announced that Britain will pledge to support Finland and Sweden’s armed forces in the event of an attack. Britain said that “…the new arrangements would intensify intelligence sharing and accelerate joint military training, exercises and deployments.” All this comes in the midst of Russia’s war in Ukraine and Russian president Vladimir Putin’s public warning that Sweden’s and Finland’s admission to NATO would produce a strong response from Russia.

When Britain was a great power in the 18th and 19th centuries, its statesmen eschewed formal continental commitments, choosing the freedom to intervene in continental conflicts when such conflicts threatened to upset the European balance of power. Thus, King William sent a British army under John Churchill, the Duke of Marlborough, to prevent French hegemony in Europe sought by Louis XIV in the early 18th century. William Pitt the Younger ordered British forces under the Duke of Wellington and Admiral Horatio Nelson to ally with continental powers to defeat Napoleon in the early 19th century. Those continental commitments were temporary, ad hoc arrangements based on unusual European-wide circumstances. When those wars ended, Britain returned to its more flexible and distant policy that some scholars have described as “offshore balancing” and others have called “splendid isolation,” taking full advantage of its insular position. In the late 19th century, Prime Ministers Benjamin Disraeli and Lord Salisbury continued to follow that policy.

Perhaps Sir Eyre Crowe of the British Foreign Office explained the policy best in 1907 in a memorandum written as Europe was less than a decade away from a catastrophic war. “The general character of England’s foreign policy,” Crowe wrote, “is determined by the immutable conditions of her geographical situation on the ocean flank of Europe as an island State with vast overseas colonies and dependencies, whose existence and survival as an independent community are inseparably bound up with the possession of preponderant sea power.” He referenced the works of the American naval historian Alfred Thayer Mahan. England, Crowe continued, must preserve “equilibrium” on the European continent by upholding a “balance of power.” England can maintain such a balance “by throwing her weight now in this scale and now in that, but ever on the side opposed to the political dictatorship of the strongest single State or group at a given time.”

Crowe questioned whether Germany in 1907 was aiming at “a political hegemony with the object of promoting purely German schemes of expansion, and establishing a German primacy in the world of international politics at the cost and to the detriment of other nations,” but he expressed the fear that Berlin’s policies and some of its rhetoric were leading to an Anglo-German confrontation. He was not convinced that Germany sought European hegemony, but England could not be sure and must take that possibility into account in determining its policy toward Germany.

British historian Niall Ferguson in his book The Pity of War, argued that Wilhelmine Germany did not pose the same threat to British security as Louis XIV and Napoleon did, and that Britain should not have made a continental commitment to that war. Ferguson argues that Britain with its colonies and dependencies transformed a European war into a world war and a global cataclysm that spawned dangerous revolutionary ideologies (communism, fascism) and a second more destructive war that led to a long and costly Cold War.

It is anticipated that the British agreements with Sweden and Finland are a preliminary step on the road to NATO membership for both countries. A story in National Review Online notes that both countries are expected to apply for NATO membership soon and that they will likely be “summarily accepted into the alliance.” If and when that happens, the ball will be in Putin’s court. What kind of “strong response” will Russia make to the further expansion of NATO. Will he deploy, as he previously threatened to, nuclear and hypersonic missiles near the borders of those countries and perhaps other NATO countries? And how will NATO respond to that? Will historians one day look back and conclude, to paraphrase Bismarck, that it was some damned thing in Ukraine that ignited World War III?

What the world needs now is a statesman or stateswomen of the caliber of Bismarck or Disraeli to replicate their diplomacy at the Congress of Berlin in 1878, where an international crisis caused by the Russo-Turkish War and the ensuing Treaty of San Stefano threatened to engulf Europe in wider war. Don’t bother looking to Washington, London, or Moscow for such leaders – none are there.

French magazine: Hungary’s anti-migrant wall is now a model for Europe despite past criticisms

In 2015, as refugees fleeing the war in Syria poured into Europe, Viktor Orbán‘s initiative was labeled as a new “wall of shame,’ but times have changed.

Seven years later, the Complément d’Enquête investigative news magazine is reporting that much the “anti-migrant” system championed by Hungary’s conservative-populist president improved and served as an example for many other countries. In just a few years, 1,200 kilometers of fencing has been erected at the gates of Europe. France Infobroadcast reported.

Hungary’s eastern border with Serbia is one of the most monitored areas in Europe. Between the two countries, fencing stretches for 175 kilometers and stands 3.50 meters high. In 2015, its construction, amid the migrant crisis sparked a lively controversy.

When Hungary first built its fencing, it was met with universal outrage from Europe’s liberal establishment.

Hungary is part of Europe. Europe has values, and we do not respect them by installing fences, as one would do vis-à-vis animals,” said French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius, comparing it to the Berlin Wall.

A lot has changed since then. The “anti-migrant wall” is now cited as an example of effectiveness, and many countries are openly inspired to recreate the success of Hungary’s fence in their own countries. Greece and Bulgaria have strengthened theirs, while Lithuania, Austria, and Slovenia have built their own versions. The latest example is the one Poland erected a few months ago on its border with Belarus.

European politicians have also changed their positions, with European People’s Party leader Manfred Weber making a dramatic U-turn and backing a border fence at the Polish border despite claims int he past that “Europe does not build walls.”

Last year, Denmark’s interior minister also voiced his support for Hungary’s border fence.

“It was a mistake to criticize Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán for raising a barbed wire wall at the border in 2015,” Danish Minister of Immigration and Integration Mattias Tesfaye told the press after the meeting of EU interior ministers in Brussels.

“As is well known, initially the majority of European leaders strongly criticized the establishment of the southern border fence, but now more and more people acknowledge that the Hungarian prime minister was right in the migration debate,” Tesfaye said.

Orbán also still remains the leader of Hungary after once again achieving a landslide election victory in April, and his “anti-migrant” system has only become more sophisticated over the years. Instead of one wall, the border now has two. The fence was doubled on the Hungarian side “because the migratory flow continued to increase,” explained a lieutenant colonel responsible for a border post to the French magazine.

The new fencing construction has been equipped with sensors to detect movement, a barbed wire lined with razor blades, and steel links to prevent migrants from cutting the fence with pliers. Between the two barriers, a road was built to facilitate the movement of patrols. To better control entries from the neighboring country, Hungary has also installed cameras facing Serbia.

The journalists of Complément d’Enquête were also invited to a demonstration of the effectiveness of Hungary’s surveillance methods, and were able to enter a control room filled with screens. Thanks to the new technology, border guards spotted a group carrying a ladder, which smugglers routinely use to try and scale Hungary’s fencing. A patrol was sent to stop the group, and both the ladder and migrants were successfully intercepted.

Germany: Turk stabs wife while her children slept in the next room

While the couple’s young children (2, 6) were sleeping next door, family father Muhammet Y. (34) allegedly stabbed his wife (31) several times with a knife in their bedroom in Wuppertal on Tuesday evening. A homicide squad is investigating.

At around 10 pm, the mother of two had called 911 herself. According to the police and the public prosecutor’s office, she had been the victim of a knife attack in her flat. She had to undergo emergency surgery in the evening and suffers from numerous stab wounds and is still in serious critical condition.

The husband had fled into the street, was discovered near the residence in Kruppstraße and arrested.

The public prosecutor’s office applied for an arrest warrant against the father. A judge sent him to custody on Wednesday for attempted manslaughter. The couple has been married for ten years. The motive is still unclear.

Her parents, who live in the same house, are now taking care of the grandchildren. The victim’s father told the newspaper BILD: “I can’t explain it, they were still with us one and a half hours before, everything was fine.

France: Salafist head of mosque tries to grab a police gun during a raid

On Wednesday, the head of the Al-Houda mosque in Grande-Synthe was arrested along with his two sisters and the treasurer. They were taken into police custody, CNEWS has learned.

An operation by the department’s anti-fraud committee brought to light that an unauthorised madrassa was located on the mosque’s premises. The investigation also reveals opaque accounts.

Investigators found that funds originating from abroad, which corresponded to donations, were misappropriated to an estimated amount of 350,000 euros, as well as fraud in social benefits, estimated at 70,000 euros.

The main suspect is the unemployed head of the Salafist mosque, Ouarab A. (49 years old, known to the Territorial Intelligence Service). The fraudulent transfers went over the associations presided over by his two sisters (46 and 47 years old).

The embezzled funds were used to buy real estate, in particular the mosque to which the madrasa is attached. During a search of the mosque, police officers found 25,240 euros and 300 English pounds, but also evidence of payment to the imam without explanation.

During his arrest, the main suspect tried to grab the gun of one of the police officers who participated in the raid.www.cnews.fr
