EU disunity highlighted by ban on Russian oil

In the EU dispute over the oil embargo against Russia, European heads of state and governments reached an agreement on Monday. More than two thirds of the previous Russian oil deliveries to the EU will be stopped, said EU Council President Charles Michel during the summit in Brussels. However, at the urging of Hungary and its Prime Minister Viktor Orban, only seaborne imports are affected. Imports via pipelines remain possible.

Germany could also continue to supply itself with this oil. However, Chancellor Olaf Scholz (SPD) has announced that he will refrain from doing so. This should make the already expensive import even more expensive for the Germans. The prices for heating and fuel will continue to rise. This also affects all other prices because companies will likely pass their higher energy prices on to consumers. Inflation is likely to continue to rise. It was already 7,9 percent in Germany in May.

Belgian Prime Minister Alexander De Croo called for a “pause” in sanctions after the meeting in Brussels.

Hungary, the Czech Republic and Slovakia continue to purchase Russian oil

Council President Michel announced that the EU was “cutting off a huge source of funding for its war machine” by the Kremlin. The compromise allows Hungary to continue to obtain Russian oil via the Druzhba pipeline. Refineries in Germany and Poland as well as in Slovakia and the Czech Republic are also connected to it. Poland, following the German example, has also declared that it does not want to benefit from the exception for pipeline oil.

As a result, Russia will only sell a tenth of the previous oil volume to the EU in the coming year, said EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen. The planned reduction in oil imports is therefore not two-thirds, but increases “effectively to around 90 percent”. So far, Russia has taken in an estimated €450 million a day from its oil sales to the EU.

Before the agreement reached at the summit meeting of heads of state and government in Brussels, Hungary had referred to its great dependence on Russian oil and had blocked an embargo. The compromise found now leaves the country’s energy supply unaffected and the unity in the EU shattered.

“Brussels’ proposal would have been tantamount to a nuclear bomb, but we managed to prevent it,” Prime Minister Viktor Orbán said after the agreement.

Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer disclosed on Tuesday that the EU would not be discussing a ban on Russian natural gas imports at all. “Russian oil is much easier to compensate [for]… gas is completely different, which is why a gas embargo will not be an issue in the next sanctions package.” Estonia and Belgium support the Austrian viewpoint.

In the meantime blending Russian oil with oil from other countries has been a convenient tool for companies to publicly say one thing (phase out Russian oil) and do another (buy lots of Russian oil).

No cheap fuel for foreigners in Hungary

The decision by Hungary to stop fuel tourism has hit the Austrians hard. Since the record prices of around 2 euros per liter, fuel tourists from mainly neighboring border areas have benefitted. Austria’s government has still not managed to lower fuel prices to an acceptable level.

Last week Hungary’s government announced that it would stop fuel tourism. Above all, Sopron, which is close to the border, is a popular destination for Austrians to get fuel at cheap prices. That ended last Friday. In the future, only vehicles with Hungarian license plates will receive fuel at a cheap price. There will no longer be any discounts for vehicles with foreign license plates – with the exception of Serbian and Slovenian license plates, according to reports.

Due to rising fuel prices, Hungary introduced a price cap back in November. According to reports, one liter of petrol or diesel costs the equivalent of 1,24 euros in Hungary. With a fuel price of around two euros per liter, Austria is one of the countries with the highest prices while Hungary has the cheapest fuel price compared to other European countries.

But because Hungary looks after its own people, the Hungarian state is now accused of “violating EU law”. The question inevitably arises as to how that can be when disproportionate restrictions on fundamental rights and freedoms are no longer viewed as such. The unequal treatment of people without jabs is a case in point.

Beer drinkers will also pay for the ban

A consequence of the energy policy of the German government and counterproductive sanctions against Russia, the German brewing industry is now considering how to deal with the impending beer shortage. Because beer is likely to be much more expensive than it is now.

The head of sales at the traditional Erdinger Weißbräu brewery, Josef Westermeier, said beer was far too cheap. He therefore suggested a “white beer triage”, or a prioritization among the customers. “The most loyal customers have priority here,” explained Westermeier.

Against the background of skyrocketing energy costs, beer will become much more expensive, says Westermeier. “Theoretically, a crate of wheat beer could cost three to four euros more. Exactly when is not yet clear.” It depends on the trade whether customers are willing to dig deeper into their pockets.

Brewing uses a lot of energy. The increased costs are “cruel, they have tripled”. In the event of a gas crisis, the family business would have to weigh up its future.

Almost 2 gang rapes happen every single day in multicultural Germany, and cases more than doubled in just 3 years

Not only are gang rape cases growing at a shocking rate in Germany, but new data shows that almost every second gang rape suspect does not have German citizenship.

The information has come to light after Alternative for Germany (AfD) member of parliament, Stephan Brandner, requested the German government release statistics on gang rapes. It shows that in 2021, 677 gang rapes occurred, and suspects were identified in 462 cases.

In 2018, there were around 300 such gang rapes, which means there has been an over 120 percent increase in just a matter of three years.

What is behind the massive rise in gang rapes?

This is “imported crime and criminals,” said Brandner in a statement, “After all, the proportion of non-German suspects recorded is 47 percent and that with a proportion of foreigners in Germany of around 13 percent.”

As with other serious crimes, although foreigners without German citizen make up a small fraction o the population, they are vastly overrepresented, including in sexual assault, rape, robbery, and murder.

The statistics do not tell the whole story either, as the data is only broken down between Germans and foreigners. The ethnic background or any other possible foreign citizenship of the suspects is not considered. As a result, it is unclear how many of the rape suspects are ethnic Germans and how many of them are foreigners who have obtained German citizenship or Germans with a foreign background who have obtained citizenship over the generations.

One trend is clear: gang rapes have rapidly accelerated following the migrant crisis of 2015. The number of gang rapes in Germany has skyrocketed since 2015, as has the proportion of foreign offenders. That information already emerged from an earlier request from the AfD parliamentary group at the end of 2019. Group rapes are often not so-called relational acts in which the perpetrator knew the victim personally. It partly explains why the apprehension rate for suspects is relatively low.

Critics have spoken out in the past about the role of migrants in Germany’s growing gang rape problem.

Necla Kelek, a Turkish-born German feminist and women’s rights activist, called on the German government to finally address the problem head-on and the role migration is playing in Germany’s rape problem.

“Migration research must question how a young girl can become a victim of men who come from another cultural area,” Kelek said. “Gang rape is the worst thing that can happen to a woman. If society leaves them alone with this, the soul is almost wiped out.”

Brandner, who also serves as a legal adviser to the AfD parliamentary group, says that the German government must prioritize the issue.

Federal Minister of the Interior [Nancy] Faeser should finally address this issue and fight resolutely to ensure that such conditions no longer exist in Germany,” Brandner emphasizes.

The far-left Faeser is known for writing in Antifa magazine, and using skewed statistics to claim that Germany’s biggest threat is right-wing extremism. She has remained mostly silent on left-wing violence, shocking migrant crime figures, and Islamic extremism.

Some of the most high-profile gang rape cases in recent years have involved large groups of migrant males.

In 2021, three migrants, two Syrians aged 18 and 20 and a 21-year-old Iraqi, were arrested in the Lower Saxony town of Leer for brutally beating and gang-raping a 16-year-old German girl. The three Middle Eastern men are said to have arrived in Germany with their families during the first wave of the migrant crisis in 2015.

Also in 2021, prosecutors admitted that 10 out of 12 men involved in the rape of a 15-year-old girl from the city of Hamburg were migrants. The rape lasted more than two hours and was filmed by the perpetrators.

In a case that made national headlines, 10 migrant men gang raped a girl in Freiburg. Dating back to 2016, the case was a shock at the time, but as gang rape has become more routine, the German media has been more adverse to giving headline coverage to such incidents, as such cases could threaten Germany’s open borders posture, as advocated by the left-liberal establishment. The men were only sentenced to prison in 2020, four years after the incident occurred.

In many cases, those convicted in such cases face little in terms of consequences from Germany’s notoriously lenient justice system. For example, five migrants convicted of gang raping a woman in Berlin were offered suspended sentences for confessing to the crime, which meant they would not have to serve any prison time at all as long as they did not reoffend.

Germany is not the only problem with gang rape crimes from migrant males. In fact, foreigners are vastly overrepresented in other countries as well, including Sweden. As Remix News previously reported, the numbers out of Sweden are truly stunning:

“In 2018, Swedish newspaper Expressen reported on this growing trend in Sweden. After an investigation into the court cases involving gang rape over the previous two years, the paper found that there were 43 men convicted of the offense. The paper also determined that of the 40 out of the 43 men with gang rape convictions, they were either immigrants who were born abroad or born in Sweden to immigrant parents.

Another investigation also found that since July 2012, there were 112 men and boys convicted for gang rape. Of those, 82 were born outside of Europe. The median age of victims was only 15, while seven out of ten perpetrators were between 15 and 20.”

When a group of Swedish academics determined that migrants were vastly overrepresented in such cases, they faced prosecution, with the data seen as an embarrassment to the media and government.

Germany: Unspecified man attacks pastor with knife in Ulm Cathedral and vandalises church

In Ulm on Sunday morning, a 28-year-old man attacked the 39-year-old female priest with a knife during a service in Ulm Cathedral. The police arrested the man a short time later and took him into custody.
The 28-year-old had entered the church shortly after the service began and first damaged some wooden figures on the pews with his knife. Then, according to the police, he approached the priest with the knife and pushed her several times. However, the 39-year-old woman was able to dodge backwards each time and was thus not injured. The pastor called for help over the microphone, which drew the attention of those attending the service to the incident. The 28-year-old then allegedly cut the cable of the loudspeaker.

After being asked to do so several times by those present, he turned away from the priest and left the minster. The police arrested the man a short time later on Münsterplatz. It is not yet known why the man attacked the priest.
At the request of the Ulm public prosecutor’s office, the competent magistrate at the Ulm district court issued a warrant for the arrest of the accused on urgent suspicion of attempted manslaughter. He is now in custody. The public prosecutor’s office will also have the mental condition of the 28-year-old examined in the course of the upcoming investigations.

Champions League Final in France: “It was racism against Europeans committed by North African migrants”

Stade de France: of the 129 people apprehended and arrested, only 16 were British and 1 Spanish. All the others, the vast majority, are “natives”, new French citizens or illegal immigrants.

Julia Vigas, wife of Thiago Alcántara, was caught up in the chaos that erupted outside the Stade de France before the Champions League final and shared her experience and those of other relatives of Liverpool players on social media:

“I don’t like to comment on things like this but this time I have to. The final was an absolute nightmare and it’s not about football because what happened goes way beyond the result. Because of the lack of organisation and security, we suffered many fearful moments. We were constantly threatened by gangs of thieves who tried to rob us and sneak into the stadium without tickets. For this reason, many fans stayed outside the stadium. The police shot tear gas at families and fans, some of them were even beaten up. They were all innocent. For this reason, we had to be escorted for our own safety. Something has to be done, something like this should not happen at any event, and we demand that someone takes responsibility. It could have been much worse.”

Officers on the scene then witnessed repeated and unprecedented acts of theft without being able to intervene as there were numerous. Homegrown crime was also present, but by no means dominant. One thing was certain: pickpockets came in large numbers to steal cash, wallets or phones, sometimes even from the visually impaired or wheelchair users. According to them, there were so many flagrant thefts that they could not arrest them all. So they collected the phones and returned them when they were able. They also witnessed a blind man and a man in a wheelchair whose personal belongings had been stolen”.

The vast majority of police detentions were classified without follow-up. In response to a request from TF1info, the Bobigny prosecutor’s office said on Monday that 48 police arrests were made in its jurisdiction on Saturday night and that a significant number of the police arrests involved minors. “The vast majority were dismissed – perpetrators unknown or proceedings not in order – and not a single custody case against minors resulted in a conviction.

A Spanish MP (Vox) said:

“I repeat here what an acquaintance told me, who always tells me that we tend to criminalise immigration too much: “What I experienced today in Paris made me think differently from Vox. We were attacked by gangs of Arab thieves. The police did nothing. Indescribable. They attacked us twice. We are fine, but traumatised. On the way in and out. With 9- and 5-year-old children. They ruined our party.”

A fan present at the Stade de France:

“I am an immigrant in Spain and have always been pro-immigration, but what we witnessed last night in Paris was a horror for our family and all the fans. Hundreds of African Parisians attacked the fans and taunted us because they saw us panicking. It was racism, against Europeans.”

Fans present and AFP journalists also noted before the match that gangs of youths and unidentified local football fans were trying to get into the stadium without tickets.

“I have been to many Champions League, European Cup and World Cup finals. I have never witnessed anything like what was happening at the Stade de France. There are groups of French people around the stadium attacking and stealing from the fans. I’m not talking from hearsay, I’ve witnessed it for myself,” says Spanish journalist Sergio Santos.

How the COVID Vaccines Kill

By Joseph Shepherd

With each passing day, the news connected to the COVID shots grows worse.  That the injections don’t prevent COVID — or even its spread — has been known for months, and post-injection problems encompass almost everything that can go wrong with a body

“Not a single organ, not a single bodily function, is unharmed” after one of these shots, said Arne Burkhardt, a professor of forensics at Reutlingen’s Pathological Institute.

So little has been written about why “side effects” such as myocarditis have popped up that one can’t help but wonder: Does anybody understand how these shots work?

In the space below, let’s pick three of the harshest complications and explore how COVID shots could be driving the mechanics of each.

1 – Myocarditis

The pale-yellow fluid of the Pfizer or Moderna vial contains billions of microscopic fat globs called lipid nanoparticles.  Each is an incredibly tiny envelope, used to conceal the novel drug: messenger RNA.  Once injected, the combination of nanoparticles and mRNA becomes a well-camouflaged predator.

According to Pfizer’s own data, less than half the nanoparticles stay in the arm where they were injected.  Most slip through tiny cracks in muscle tissue and enter the bloodstream.  Venous blood speeds them to the heart, which pumps and disperses them to the entire body.

Depending on level of exercise, from 5 to 25% of these particles wind up in coronary circulation. Why is this important?  Consider the rather large number of nanoparticles that must slip into human heart tissue:  50 to 250 million out of each billion that enter the veins of the arm.

Coronary circulation branches into microscopic capillaries that rush nutrients to heart muscle cells.  And since the nanoparticles designed by Pfizer and Moderna masquerade as triglycerides, heart muscle cells are apt to snatch them out of circulation as food.

Now imagine the shock for any hard-charging heart cell that engulfs one of these particles.  Expecting a meal, the cell unwraps the envelope, and voilà!  Freshly unveiled messenger RNA seizes the cell’s protein-generating apparatus, forcing out a known toxin — the COVID spike protein.

Very soon, with urgent biochemical signals, the afflicted cell telegraphs news of its hijacking to the immune system, which will marshal what it takes to destroy the cell.

An immune-mediated attack on heart muscle cells is, of course, the very essence of myocarditis.  Foreign RNA takes control of a cell’s protein production, transforming these cells into enemies of the body, and the immune system converts them into useless scar tissue.  The process is irreversible, as heart muscle cells do not regenerate.

According to CDC, myocarditis from COVID jabs is “rare” and “mild,” but where is the evidence for this proclamation?  Pfizer’s data shows every shot — at least in part — entering the bloodstream, so CDC has interesting notions about the word “rare.”  Clinical myocarditis is never “mild.”  A phenomenon that kills thousands of heart muscle cells is better classified as “serious” or “severe.”  And even if the subject doesn’t die right away, how is that person not permanently injured?  And how is the process not cumulative with each subsequent jab?

Given that about 40% of CDC income comes from vaccine patents and products, how can we be assured these experts are not self-serving?

2 – Vascular Damage and Heart Attack Risk

Now let’s turn attention from lipid nanoparticles to their end-product, the COVID spike protein.  Having been forced into production by messenger RNA, spike protein peels off cell membranes and drops into general circulation.  From there, it stabs and deactivates ACE-2 protein, which is displayed on the innermost lining of blood vessels.

Deactivating ACE-2 has enormous consequences for the body:  Its loss leads to oxidative stress on blood vessels, putting the patient at risk for organ damage and blood clots over time.

Can oxidative stress persist months, or even longer?  A study of spike-injected hamsters showed that damaged ACE-2 was not replaced by mammalian cells.  Either the cells never sensed that ACE-2 was “spiked” or didn’t generate a signal to replace spiked ACE-2 with a fresher version.  To put it a more scientific way:  Injected spike protein down-regulated ACE-2, probably for as long as the cells stayed alive.

Does any of this apply to humans?  Using the PULS lab score to study a large group of at-risk patients, investigators found that future risk for heart attack remained almost triple two and a half months after two mRNA shots.

3 – Neurodegenerative Disease

Is the COVID jab really associated with premature Alzheimer and Parkinson disease?  Evidence continues to mount, and spike protein is once again the culprit.  Circulating spike targets the brain in a variety of ways:

  1. by exposing brain cells to unnecessary toxins through crowbar-like effectson the blood-brain barrier.
  2. by inducing susceptible proteins to misfold and become pathogenic.
  3. by attacking ACE-2 protein-rich environments in the brain.
  4. by forcing mitochondria (the energy-producing organelles of cells) into less efficient processes, so that injured brain cells take on the eerie characteristics of cancer and Alzheimer’s cells.

Long-term outlook

Messenger RNA technology has been around for over 20 years, and multiple vaccines have been attempted.  Each failed because the experimental animals failed to thrive

Last February, spike protein was found to inhibit type 1 interferon, the powerful regulator of the immune system.  Hindering type 1 interferon reduces the body’s ability to defend against:

            (1) malignancies

            (2) autoimmune diseases

            (3) viral infections

Over the next year, we will continue to observe how impaired interferon affects the great COVID shot experiment.  But while we study the pathology, let us further develop the mechanisms associated with mRNA injections, so that new approaches to the injuries they inflict may be devised.

Criticize multiculturalism and become a pariah

by Giulio Meotti

“I have to justify even being German, to dare to refer to Goethe. Suddenly, you are like a pariah.” This is how Uwe Tellkamp speaks at the Süddeutsche Zeitung. His is the cultural case of recent years.

Not only because in 2008 Tellkamp published the great novel “The Tower”, which sold over a million copies and describes the last years of the German Democratic Republic through the educated middle class of Dresden. It has won numerous literary awards and has been celebrated by all feuilletons and literary critics.

But literary consensus is always linked to mainstream ideological respect. Thus, when Tellkamp spoke in Dresden on refugee policy, the consensus collapsed. “Most of them do not flee from war and persecution, they come here to immigrate to the social [welfare] system. Over 95 percent “. He said that in Germany there is an “ethical corridor” in which opinions like his are “only tolerated” and there is a risk of “moral dictatorship”. Open up, heaven. The famous publisher of Tellkamp, Suhrkamp, attacked him; Tellkamp cancelled the tours of the novels and the press turned him into a rogue. Many presentations of his novels were skipped.

This celebrated writer returns to criticize his country’s immigration policy, stating to theSüddeutsche Zeitung: “While respecting other cultures, I would still like to preserve mine”.

“I don’t want to be like Frankfurt, I don’t want to see the situation in Frankfurt,” Tellkamp said, referring to the German city where the majority of the population is no longer native Germans. In Frankfurt, the first German city where Germans became a minority, 15 percent of the population is already of Turkish origin.

Tellkamp attacks the journalistic class that “knows what Islam is and what is good for us: I don’t want to be portrayed as a fascist, a complete idiot and a right-wing a***, I reject it, precisely because democracy is important to me” . Today Tellkamp says the conversation in Dresden was “the last truly free debate. After that it is over.” Tellkamp spoke of “journalists who are ahead of time in line with the government.”

But the Tellkamp case is not an isolated one. For years, leading German writers have been warning Europe and their country about the consequences of multiculturalism, but they never make the news when they enter that “moral corridor”.

Reinhard Jirgl, winner of the Büchner Prize, the highest literary prize in Germany, and who also lived under the GDR, in the magazine Tumult traces the opening to mass immigration to a “cult of guilt”. The biographer of philosophers, Rüdiger Safranski, writes that “Germany lost its sovereignty after 1945 as a defeated nation and we became childish, we no longer know what foreign policy means”. Safranski explained: “For people without progeny, thinking about future generations makes little sense. Therefore they behave as if they are the last link in a chain.”

At Spiegel, Safranski says that Islamic mass immigration “will be the challenge. decisive in the coming years. “” It is not a conspiracy theory that the decisive and main political task of the next 10 or 20 years will be Islamic mass immigration. There are many indications that we have to deal with huge flows of migrants. And this is where in the end you have to be realistic and ask yourself: can we still maintain the liberal society we find ourselves in in this situation? It is not about ‘the individual Muslim following his own faith.’ Political Islam is hostile to our way of life.”

The most famous German writer who survived the Holocaust, Ralph Giordano, wrote in the FAZ: “I will continue to take a critical position against those imams who use the liberal structure and tolerance of the constitution to impose totalitarian views of the state and who undermine the rules of the rule of law, using anti-Western indoctrination to teach Sharia law. I want to be able to say that I don’t want to see burqas or chadors on the German streets any more than I want to hear the muezzin calls from the minarets. Nor will I adapt my vision of freedom of expression to a demon who interprets it as follows: ‘Everyone has the right to freely express their opinion in a way that is not contrary to Sharia law’. No and three times no! “.

In Die Welt, Peter Schneider, one of the most celebrated living writers, explains that the denial of reality has destroyed democracy. “Competition for ethical superiority weighs on society. At a dinner at a foundation in Berlin, a young artist told me he doesn’t understand the refugee discussion. ‘Ten million refugees in Germany.’ he would have no problem with that ‘”.

In large German cities, 70 percent of the population will be foreigners in just twenty years. Historian Michael Paulwitz wrote: “First in the cities, then throughout the country, ethnic Germans will become a minority. It doesn’t take much imagination to imagine how profoundly the population picture will change over the next two decades ”.

“I would rather live in a dying society than in one that, due to economic and demographic speculation, mixes with foreign peoples and becomes young again,” wrotBotho Straüss, the famous writer and playwright who lives in Uckermark. His essay in Der Spiegel, entitled The Last German, caused no small amount of scandal. “Sometimes I have the impression of being among Germans only among our ancestors”. The “ancestors” to whom Straüss refers are the great spirits of German culture, destined to dissolve in a multicultural society. Straüss’s image is not that of a collapse of civilization, but of a kind of stasis, “the vision of decadence and its reinterpretation in diversity, loss as enrichment”, a “self-abandonment.”

“What could be better for the Germans than to become a strong minority in their country? ”.

Four years after the reunification of the two Germanys, the cultural pessimist Straüss had already delivered to the Spiegel an essay that caused even more sensation: “Modernity does not end in its gentle postmodern hills, but is interrupted with a culture shock”.

The biggest ideological fault today is reminding the establishment that it has set off a time bomb that is exploding in our faces.

Biden Meet With New Zealand PM Will Push Censorship of Americans

Normally the visit by the prime minister of a fairly tiny country wouldn’t be an issue, but New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern became an iconic figure when she launched a successful effort to deprive her people of their civil rights due to an act of violence.

The resulting deprivation of civil rights has traveled far beyond New Zealand with Ardern’s so-called Christchurch Call that’s already affecting Americans.

In his PJ Media article, Tyler O’Neil dug into the Global Internet Forum to Counter Terrorism (GIFCT) which is funded by Google, Facebook, Microsoft and currently chaired by Twitter. Its advisory committee members include the United Nations, the European Union, and the British, French, and Canadian governments as well as the National Security Council in the U.S.

GIFCT had been set up by the industry in response to pressure from governments to remove Jihadist propaganda, but its Hash Sharing Consortium, a secret database of terrorism content to be immediately removed when its 13 dot com companies come across it, is secret, and so there’s no way for anyone to know if they’ve been targeted and no appeal from the secret list.

The creation of a secret “No Fly List” for the internet by the biggest monopolies which control over 80% of social media content and much of the self-created video content on the internet would be troubling enough, but by 2019, Facebook, Twitter, Google, Microsoft, and Amazon had joined the Christchurch Call which advocates not just banning terrorist material, but fighting its root causes by strengthening “inclusiveness” and fighting “violent extremism”.

Ardern’s arrival in America is sure to be an attack on the already threatened civil rights of Americans.

New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, who successfully oversaw the implementation of gun control measures in her own country, will meet with President Biden on Tuesday at the White House to discuss a range of issues, including countering “radicalization to violence both off and online.”

That’s spelled “censorship”.

Ardern touched on the topic during her Harvard commencement address last week, while also discussing the dangers of disinformation and online radicalization.

“We knew we needed significant gun reform, and so that is what we did,” she said. “But we also knew that if we wanted genuine solutions to the issue of violent extremism online, it would take government, civil society and the tech companies themselves to change the landscape.”

The Uvalde shooting was actually inconvenient because the Left wanted to talk about Buffalo which would have fit neatly with that theme. You could see Obama trying to push the Uvalde kids out of the way to connect drug overdose victim George Floyd with the Buffalo shooting victims. But it didn’t work.

That doesn’t mean that they won’t try anyway.
