The anti-Semitism imported by the millions as a result of Islamic mass migration has hit a new, foreseeable and shameful low: in a Facebook post filled with spelling mistakes, a tailoring shop in Kleinmachnow, in the German state of Brandenburg, announced: ‘As of today, no Jews are allowed to enter my shop, because we want peace, not war, so every Jew or Israeli is banned from my shop.’ The anti-Semitic gibberish was deleted shortly afterwards, but fortunately the internet never forgets anything:
Shop owner Osman Uyars told Bild: “It wasn’t me. My son wrote it. I phoned him immediately after the police arrived, I only found out about it today. For me, all people are people. Many Jewish people are my customers.” His son, who poses on Instagram photos with the salute of the grey wolf – the symbol of the Turkish right-wing extremist ‘Grey Wolves’ and – and in other photos – together with former German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, also runs a tailor shop and he too denies having made the post.
He claimed that someone had hacked his site. He had tried to ‘delete it everywhere, unfortunately I realised too late’. He is a businessman and ‘doesn’t care whether he’s Jewish, Muslim, Christian or whatever’. He explained that his father had named him as the author of the post as a result of his language deficits: ‘My dad and the German language are a bit odd. However, the police have no evidence that the account was hacked. They are investigating on suspicion of incitement to hatred, but did not want to say against whom ‘for reasons of privacy’. ‘The person who, according to the police’s current knowledge, is said to have authored and published the text will be interviewed in the further course of the investigation’, the statement continued.
Regardless of whether father or son is behind the anti-Semitic tirade, it is no wonder that it has come to this. 80 years after the Holocaust, hatred of Jews has once again become socially acceptable in Germany – and not by ‘right-wingers’, but by masses of Muslims who are considered sacrosanct.
