A Tennessee State University golfer sent a message from his hospital bed warning of the dangers of the Covid-19 vaccination. John Stokes, who is also an Academic Medal of Honor student, posted a TikTok video after contracting myocarditis and being told he was incapacitated for the season.
Unfortunately, this is Stokes’ senior year at school so most likely he will no longer play college golf.
Stokes, 21, developed myocarditis four days after his second dose of vaccine and ended up in the hospital. In the video, he said he knew of other players who either had heart surgery or who also developed heart problems after the vaccination.
In his TikTok video, he calls on the NCAA to stop making vaccinations mandatory for athletes. “I wish someone had told me about the risks of the vaccine,” he said. “It is not right for people to be forced to take the vaccine because there are actually side effects like these that can happen to you.”
