The pandemic of government disinformation

The Robert Koch Institute (RKI), Germany’s national agency for monitoring Covid-19, secretly and quietly changed its information on Corona vaccines on November 2. Vaccine protection wanes so soon that vaccinated persons transmit the virus but according to the RKI this cannot be “quantified”. No statement is made about any vaccine’s protective effect against infection or a severe course of Covid-19.

The RKI, run by veterinarian Lothar Wieler, has also advised against conducting autopsies on people believed to have died because of Covid-19 on the basis that an autopsy “could provide another chance for transmission”. It collaborates closely with the WHO in issuing controversial and nonsensical statements on the pandemic.

The German government’s Corona policy is based on the assumption that people who have been vaccinated are less contagious.

Their argument for radical measures to combat Covid-19 has so far been that vaccinated people do not spread the virus to the extent that the unvaccinated do and thus people who have been jabbed contribute less to the infection process. Therefore, the vaccinated have the right to their “basic rights and liberties”, while those of the unvaccinated can be trampled underfoot. Participation in society is no longer possible for the unvaccinated.

The information about the vaccinations, which was changed by the RKI on November 2, is therefore particularly explosive, because the website page now reads: “The extent to which the vaccination reduces the transmission of the virus cannot currently be precisely quantified.”

That probably means that this reduction in the probability of transmission does not seem to be measurable. In other words: the jab offers no protection, or is apparently so small, if at all, that one can no longer measure it.

At the end of August, the info page of the Robert Koch Institute stated that the shots “show more data that even with people who have a positive PCR test despite vaccination, the viral load is significantly reduced”. What is meant by “significantly reduced” is not specified.

Another section, which according to journalist Boris Reitschuster could still be read on November 1, was deleted without replacement: “From a public health point of view, the risk of virus transmission appears to be reduced by vaccination to the extent that vaccinated persons do not play an essential role in the epidemiology of the disease play more.”

The omission of this passage is particularly explosive, since it has been the basis of the argument for measures against unvaccinated people and “freedoms” for vaccinated people.

Compared to the version from August, the passages on the protective effect of the vaccinations against infection and against a severe course have also been removed:

“The vaccination has a high protective effect (at least 80 percent) against severe COVID-19, regardless of the vaccine used (Comirnaty from BioNTech/Pfizer, Spikevax from Moderna, Vaxzevria from AstraZeneca). The current data also shows that vaccination with the AstraZeneca vaccine as well as with mRNA vaccines leads to a significant reduction in SARS-CoV-2 infections (symptomatic + asymptomatic) (protective effect about 80-90 percent after the 2nd vaccine dose).”

The passages have been replaced by the following formulation:

“However, it must be assumed that people after contact with SARS-CoV-2 will become PCR-positive despite vaccination and will also excrete infectious viruses.”

The RKI points out that vaccinated people can also shed “infectious viruses” despite the jab. “In addition, vaccination protection decreases over time and the probability of becoming PCR-positive despite being vaccinated increases. The risk of possibly passing the virus on to other people unnoticed must also be reduced by adhering to the infection control measures,” which includes masks and social distancing.

The German government prefers disinformation

There is thus no basis for discrimination against the unvaccinated, but the government and high-level spokespeople persist in lying to the public.

Jens Spahn’s spokesman Hanno Kautz curiously pretended not to know about the highest federal authority changing the wording and then contradicted the RKI: “I can classify it in general terms: It is clear that vaccinations protect. Vaccinations protect against serious illness. Vaccinations also protect against infection. Vaccinations also ensure that you are less infectious or infectious for a shorter time if you should get infected.”

A day before Frank Ulrich Montgomery, the former President of the German Medical Association, spoke to television host Anne Will about the “tyranny of the unvaccinated” while German weekly Spiegel boldly accused the unvaccinated of killing old people in care facilities.

“At the moment we are really experiencing a tyranny of the unvaccinated, who rule over two-thirds of the vaccinated and impose all these measures on us,” declared Montgomery, now the chairman of World Medical Association and president of the Standing Committee of European Doctors since 2019.

“Tyranny?” Anne Will asked in disbelief.

“Yes,” replied Montgomery, “I consciously use the term ‘tyranny’ because in countries where 97 percent are vaccinated, like Portugal, all these restrictive measures no longer exist because they are no longer needed.” And Bavarian president Markus Söder, also a guest on the panel of government “experts” can be seen nodding in agreement in the background.

The number Covid cases in Portugal are incidentally rising according to data from Johns Hopkins University, as it has in Iceland, Gibraltar, Lithuania, Belgium and Ireland.
