The German city of Kassel now has a gay Kaaba to address homosexual Muslims

An organisation supporting LGBTQIA+ has erected a model of the Kaaba in the city of Kassel in Germany in the colours of the gay flag.

The city council had refused to erect the statue, but the organisers of the event filed a lawsuit and obtained a court order to erect the statue to address gay Muslims who face harsh penalties in their countries, particularly in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The Pixel Helper organisation said, “With the Rainbow Hajj, the pilgrimage offers Muslim LGBTQIA+ an alternative faith journey full of tolerance, love and safety without prohibitions. We call on all Muslim LGBTQIA+ to pray to the Rainbow Kaaba.” Pixel Helper
