It is believed that the Tunisian arrested by the Digos of Venice and Gorizia as part of a blitz coordinated by the Central Directorate of the Prevention Police belongs to an ISIS cell.
The 25-year-old had an international arrest warrant for extradition, issued by the Tunis Tribunal for “participation in a terrorist association and acts of terrorism”.
At the moment, the police have not provided further details on the operation.
