One Shaikh Khader Basha has been arrested for slashing the throat of an 8-yr-old Hindu girl with a blade. Luckily, the girl is out of danger.
This shocking incident took place on 23 February in Kavali Rural, Nellore district, Andhra Pradesh. As per a report, Shaikh Khader Basha, who hails from Tufannagar slashed the throat of the 8-yr-old minor who was playing in front of her house after returning from school. The victim is a student of 3rd standard in a govt. school.
When the girl screamed loudly, the parents who were in the house ran out to see and rushed her to the hospital for treatment.
Accused Khader told the parents he had cut the girlâs throat and tried to flee the scene. However, he was immediately caught by the locals and handed over to the police. Fortunately, the victim girl is now out of danger and sent to home from Hospital. It is also being said that the accused Shaikh Khader Basha was âunder the influence of Cannabisâ.
The Kavali Circle Inspector (CI) K. Srinivas confirmed that they are interrogating Shaikh Khader Basha. They have received a formal complaint from the minor victimâs family, and they will register the case under the appropriate sections. Police is also interrogating Khaderâs parents to understand his criminal history.
