An unknown youth damaged a window of the Holy Cross Church (photo above) on the Castle Hill in Eisenach on Saturday afternoon at around 4.30 pm. The damage was in the three-digit range. According to witnesses, the perpetrator was wearing a black jacket with conspicuous light-coloured shoulders. Seven to eight other youths were accompanying the unidentified man. They fled on foot via Roeseplatz square and then into the street Hospitalstraße. Two of the youths are said to have been on bikes. The Eisenach police have opened an investigation and are looking for witnesses who can give clues about the offender or their companions.
