Harvard epidemiologist: Case for Covid vaccine passports has imploded

A newly published medical study has found that infection from Covid-19 gives far better protection against the Delta variant of the virus than vaccines do, obliterating the case for a health passport indicating vaccination status.

“The natural immune protection that develops after a SARS-CoV-2 infection offers considerably more of a shield against the Delta variant of the pandemic coronavirus than two doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine, according to a large Israeli study,” reported the Scientific American on Thursday. “The newly released data show people who once had a SARS-CoV-2 infection were much less likely than vaccinated people to get Delta, develop symptoms from it, or become hospitalized with serious Covid-19.”

Thus the vaccinated were 27 times more likely to become infected with the virus than those with natural immunity.

Zero need for vaccine passports

The findings come as many governments around the world are demanding citizens acquire “vaccine passports” to travel, shop, eat out and participate in recreational activities. New York City, France, and the Canadian provinces of Quebec and British Columbia are among those who have recently pushed hard for vaccine passports.

Australia even wants to make higher vaccination rates a condition of lifting its particularly harsh lockdowns. In the US, President Joe Biden, also a booster shot advocate, is considering making interstate travel unlawful for people who are unvaccinated.

But these passports have been made redundant by the new findings out of Israel and the UK. Harvard Medical School professor Martin Kulldorff  confirmed that natural immunity offered the protection needed against Covid-19.  Therefore, demanding vaccination as a condition to participate in public life is not only discriminatory but not based on available scientific findings.

Kulldorff, a biostatistician and epidemiologist, noted on Twitter that prior infection provided better immunity than vaccines, “so vaccine mandates are not only scientific nonsense, they are also discriminatory and unethical”.

Together with Stanford University professor Jay Bhattacharya, Kulldorff penned an op-ed for The Wall Street Journal against vaccine passports. “Vaccine passports are unjust and discriminatory,” Bhattacharya also tweeted.

Previously both had signed the Great Barrington Declaration arguing that Covid measures should only be focused on the vulnerable. The declaration stated that as “infectious disease epidemiologists and public health scientists we have grave concerns about the damaging physical and mental health impacts of the prevailing Covid-19 policies, and recommend an approach we call Focused Protection”.

No fewer than 15 scientific studies have found that natural immunity offered far better protection than gene therapy injections. In fact, even the CDC has admitted that vaccinated individuals were still spreading the virus.

There was no reason to force vaccination records on people, said internist and cardiologist Dr Peter McCullough. “This is a form of coercion and violates the principles of medical ethics.”

People are not informed of the risks. “I think we are heading for a crisis. An unnecessary crisis. We don’t need the vaccine. It would be a great relief if the vaccination program were terminated prematurely.”

Dr McCullough believes the biggest threat is not Corona, but vaccines. “The crisis is the vaccine at the moment,” said the internist. “I get panicked calls from people who don’t want the vaccine, saying it’s not safe and not effective.”

Contrary to media reports, the Covid vaccination is not a panacea, McCullough explained. In the UK, for example, more than 65 percent of recent Corona deaths were individuals who had been fully vaccinated.

Dr McCullough pointed out that 50 percent of deaths occur within 48 hours of vaccination and 80 percent within a week, suggesting a direct link between the vaccines and death, he told One America News.

“There are currently major concerns about the safety of vaccines,” he added. The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has already included several warnings in the package insert for Corona vaccines, including a warning of blood clots, myocarditis, paralysis, and neurological disorders.

The New England Journal of Medicine has also reported that Covid vaccine protection among 19 000 healthcare workers in San Diego plummeted in just four months, essentially giving almost none of the alleged “protection” that these gene products salesmen had promised.

It also reported vaccinated and unvaccinated people were just about as likely to be symptomatic – suggesting similar viral loads and risks of spreading the illness.

US state of Florida follows the actual science

Republican Governor Ron DeSantis earlier this year signed a bill banningvaccine passports. In fact, business schools and government agencies that demand proof of vaccination, will face a $5000 fine.

Florida will see more than 45 000 monoclonal antibody treatmentsadministered to patients statewide at the 21 state treatment sites instead, the governor said.

Laura Warren, who was diagnosed with Covid this summer, said, “When I was diagnosed with Covid I was shocked, because I am a careful person and have been fully vaccinated since February. I have allergy induced asthma, so my breathing was greatly affected and weak when I got sick. My husband and I didn’t realize that Regeneron was available at the Cleveland Clinic in Stuart. I got set up with my IV infusion there and I am very thankful to have received the treatment. I can’t thank Governor DeSantis enough for getting the word out because this treatment is going to save lives.”
