Later, the boy’s sister joined them – she had heard this from other witnesses. Her mother is in hospital and is expecting a baby. Christin R. then went back into the house, “to calm the children down, because they have witnessed this.Shortly before 9 pm a Mercedes driver (31) had crashed his car into the little boy – the force of the impact threw him against a bus stop. The child was seriously injured in the accident and taken to hospital. He died there a little later. In the evening he and two other children had run across a busy road. They remained uninjured.In an interview with Radio RTL, Marko Laske, spokesman for the Dresden police, said: “It has turned out, according to witnesses, that there is at least the suspicion that an illegal car race has also taken place here. Accordingly, the investigations into negligent homicide in road traffic against the 31-year-old Syrian have been expanded.” A 23-year-old also Syrian BMW driver who was involved in the accident is also being investigated.
