Germany: The arrest warrant against a Tunisian who randomly stabbed an unsuspecting man to death has been revoked

In the case of a 52-year-old man killed in Tuttlingen, the arrest warrant against the accused was revoked.

As the public prosecutor’s office in Rottweil announced on Monday morning, a commissioned expert opinion revealed that the 36-year-old could be assumed insanity due to a pathological mental disorder.

At the public prosecutor’s request, the man was therefore ordered to be temporarily placed in a psychiatric clinic.

The 36-year-old Tunisian is reported to have “suddenly attacked the 52-year-old victim from behind on September 15 and fatally wounded him with several stab wounds”, according to a report at the time.

The assailant had previously been known to the police several times for assault and other criminal offences.
