In the Lortzingbogen in the South Park in Halle’s Neustadt district, a man was attacked by another man with an object at about 5 p.m. on Sunday afternoon and was beaten further while lying on the ground.
According to information from dubisthalle.de, the weapon used was a motorcycle stand.
This inflicted bleeding wounds on the 35-year-old. The injured person was extremely upset and did not want to be treated medically. Finally he could be brought to a hospital for medical treatment.
The attacker is a 30-year-old man from Syria. According to witnesses, he is said to have shouted “Allahu Akbar” during the crime.
The police initiated criminal investigations against him. The reason for the dispute is not yet known.
