An unknown man sexually assaulted a 35-year-old woman in Bismarckstraße in Kaiserslautern on Sunday night. The police are searching for the perpetrator and are asking for clues. The unknown man approached the 35-year-old woman between 3:20 am and 3:40 am. He approached his victim coming from Stiftsplatz. In Bismarckstraße, he harassed the woman, groped her and tried to kiss her. The 35-year-old woman was able to break away and escape to safety. She was not physically injured. The offender fled in the direction of Stiftsplatz. The police ask: Who noticed the man? Who recognises him? The suspect is believed to be between 25 and 30 years old and about 1.80 metres tall.
He has an athletic figure and is of well-groomed appearance. The man had a well-groomed three-day beard. He was dressed in dark clothes and was wearing so-called flip-flops or similar sandals.
