The sex offender chased his victim through the dark streets of Bochum at night. Then he attacked the woman (34) and tried to rape her. Unbelievable: the suspect is only 15!
The assaults happened in the early hours of Sunday shortly before 3 a.m. in a tram. The young man verbally sexually assaulted her, the woman later told the police. When she wanted to get off, he prevented her from doing so. It was only two stops later that the Bochum woman managed to get out. But the pushy man followed her.
Near a petrol station, the perpetrator grabbed her. The police: “He pushed the woman into a footpath, beat her and tried to sexually assault her.” The 34-year-old fought back desperately, screaming for help. Three courageous witnesses intervened just in time.
The attacker fled, but police officers were able to arrest him a few streets away. He had been intoxicated.
According to the newspaper BILD, the assailant is a stocky German-Turkish man with long hair tied back in a braid. The man from Bochum is already well known to the police (theft, assault, driving without a licence).
