Wais S. is currently in custody and was brought to trial in hand and foot cuffs.
For this reason, and because of other offences committed against his wife, the Syrian must now stand trial at the district court in Pirna.Wais A. was brought into the courtroom wearing hand and foot cuffs. For when he was arrested in August, he was hardly controllable.
He and Iman were once married under Islamic law.
“He always wanted a child,” says geology student Iman, who already has two small children from a previous relationship. “But when I was pregnant, he suddenly didn’t wanted the child any more.”
In August, Iman wanted to go to the gynaecologist and had her little ones with her. “He came on the platform and called out that he was coming with me because he wanted to make sure I had an abortion. But I didn’t want that at the time.
Wais was so angry that he pushed the woman into the track bed, grabbed the children and called out that she would not get them back until she had aborted the pregnancy.
After several telephone calls with his family, the Syrian brought the children back to their mother. However, he threatened Iman there with a knife. One day later, the woman was driving with her children and a girlfriend.
According to the prosecution, Wais jumped on the bonnet, rioted and yelled, Iman and the children must get out, otherwise he will kill everyone. Since then he has been in custody. In court he remained silent about the accusations.
Iman has actually aborted the pregnancy. In her opinion, her “marriage” has now been divorced. Judgment follows.
