(…) The man of Senegalese origin and holding an Italian passport (he was in Saumur to work as a seasonal worker) was summoned to court to answer for his deeds. He was charged with these violent acts on Tuesday September 12 at the Saumur court, which considered his psychotic disorders to be real.
The prosecutor (…) asked for a sentence of 10 months in prison without parole and a ban on being in the department of Maine-et-Loire. The court finally sentenced him to 6 months imprisonment, 3 of which were suspended. He was kept in custody. Ouest France
