A McDonald’s restaurant in Villepinte in the Seine-Saint-Denis department had closed its doors during the Eid-el-Kebir festival to allow employees to perform their prayers. The shop had given a computer problem as the reason for the closure.

According to the secret service memo, the facts could be ascertained through the transparent window panes and several people actually appeared to be praying in the counter area.
